About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life, but cats have always held a very special place in my heart. Since I haven’t been able to have a cat of my own for a while, I’ve happily become the designated sitter for my friends’ cats—affectionately calling them my “furry nieces and nephews.” I’m the person who genuinely gets excited when a cat decides to sit next to me, follows me from room to room, or—perhaps the highest honor of all—chooses to sit in my lap. About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes including my own GSD and my wheaten terrier from 8 weeks old to adulthood. I also have experience babysitting my best friend’s Doberman and my mom’s pittie mixes. I currently work full time but I get up early to make sure my dog gets her walk and is fed twice a day. I grew up with a Miniature Schnauzer, Snuggles (14 wonderful years), and our cat, Cuddles (18 years), so caring for animals has truly been a lifelong part of who I am. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for 10 years and pet-sat for three years. I have experience caring for all the various needs of a dog such as walking, feeding, giving medication, traveling, and more. I am currently working part time so my schedule is open and very flexible. I have open availability anytime, a.m. or p.m., during the week from Monday-Saturday. From my personal experience, I believe being patient yet firm with routines is the best way to establish trust. Dogs love to feel safe and enjoy the security of routine and reliability!
