About: NOTE: Shae is my legal name but I go by Freyja. Having grown up with dogs (black labs mostly), rabbits, birds, fish, lizards, and amphibians, I am quite comfortable around all animals. It seems only natural that I ended up working in the Denali NPS Kennel and ran sled dog tours on Svalbard. I worked at a dog daycare for about 4 months and a pig rescue/boarding facility for a few months as well. I LOVE big dogs! I am self-employed though I am a student, so my schedule is a bit different most days. Generally, afternoons and evenings are available. As my self employment requires me to be at my home office, I prefer not to do overnights regularly. As each pet requires something a little different, I like to ensure that I know what they need to thrive and will do my absolute best to make sure they receive it.

About: Since pre-teen, I grew up with dogs mostly as my parents had several dogs in the house. I love to care for dogs and make sure they’re happy and loved. Before Rover, I’ve walked and looked after neighbors’ dogs and owners have confided in me to care for them while they are away (i.e., family vacations, business trips, etc…). I’ve had dogs my entire life, and we currently have our sweet rescue boy, Herman, the love of my life! We hike, swim, he eats like a king and sleeps in bed with us every night! Any dogs that I have sat for have received the same level of care and attention my boy gets.

About: I have many years of sitting dogs and cats! I am there to follow their regular feeding and walking schedule. I love to pet dogs, rub their bellies and make them feel safe while their loved ones are away! I’m happy to tell them their commands for treats if they know them. This is my full time job! I love taking care of pets and making them feel safe! I do what their owner has written out for me.
