Glenn intuitively knew (1) how to coax my shy, sweet Shiloh into eating her dinner & (2) he had to protect her dinner from my other pup, Moochie, who--as Glenn noted--is named for his larcenous, food-stealing ways! He even tried to train Moochie to stop his tendency to mark his territory, which I've given up doing, resorting to a diaper most of the time at home. It was a crazy, fun, but calamity-ridden weekend for me, & my arrival times for both drop-off & pick-up were later than originally expected. Glenn was relaxed and patient despite my tardiness, so I'd actually have to say he took good care of all three of us!”

Right now I share my home with my nine-month-old golden retriever, so I'm fully in the world of puppy energy, training, and keeping curious noses out of trouble. I am Rochelle’s mother and we worked with dogs for over 9 years. I am currently a stay home mom who is willing to babysit some dogs or cats to occupy her time. We have four cats and two dogs. We love all types of animals. We used to babysit a doctors' dog while she was away working or on vacation. We are always willing to learn new things. We are pretty flexible with our time. I have an open yard however, I have a rope on my back porch and the front of my house that I ties the pups on and they are free to roam as they please. They go out three times a day. And when the weather is nice they get to enjoy the weather. However, I don’t put the dogs to interact with each other unless I have help.

We want to eventually open our own doggy daycare and thought that this was the best way to get started. I am super flexible and can help you with anything! My dogs are very dog friendly and loving to almost all other dogs. They are very socialized to other dogs and cats. I can walk your dog, let them out, or you can drop them off at my house for daycare or meet me to exchange them as well! If your dog isn't dog friendly I would be happy to keep them separate and comfortable! I have a fence for the dogs to run around and play. I also have ties outs for the dogs as well. We live in a wooded neighborhood on a dirt road that is super quiet!

Right now I share my home with my nine-month-old golden retriever, so I'm fully in the world of puppy energy, training, and keeping curious noses out of trouble. I've also helped my mom raise several litters of Newfoundland puppies. That taught me how to handle big breeds and wiggly newborns, and how much patience and routine young dogs need. I know that every dog has its own personality, and I pay attention to what yours needs to feel comfortable and safe. I work from home, so I'm around throughout the day during the week and on weekends too. Your dog won't spend long stretches alone. Their day can include regular potty breaks, meals on your schedule, and plenty of company. If your dog enjoys being active and is up for it, I love taking dogs hiking on the trails nearby. For dogs who'd rather keep things low-key, relaxed walks and couch time work just as well. I'll follow your dog's usual routine as closely as possible. Your dog stays in my home, where they'll be treated like part of the family. I don't have a fenced yard, so every trip outside is on a leash, with no exceptions. That way your dog is always under my control and never has a chance to wander off. I live in a quiet rural area without busy roads, which makes for calm, low-stress walks. I'll introduce your dog to my golden retriever slowly and supervise their time together. I'm also happy to send photos and updates so you always know how your pup is doing.

“Parcha stayed overnight at Dawn’s for two days. Dawn sent me progress reports with plenty of pictures. I could tell that Parcha was enjoying her stay. Dawn and her family played and interacted with Parcha. Her two boys played with her, gave her hugs and kisses. There were two other dogs that Parcha was able to socialize with as well. She also was able to run and exercise in the yard. Parcha came home and fell fast asleep. She was on doggie vacation with Dawn. Two fun filled days. I am very pleased with the service Dawn provided. She is a real dog lover. I highly recommend her.”
