About: I grew up with dogs and cats as pets, so have lifelong experience caring for animals. My family owned a small farm for a period of time, so I also gained experience with horses in addition to cats and dogs. We owned a German Shepard and a cockapoo, so I do have direct experience with both smaller and larger dogs. In high school, I took 4 years of animal science, which further advanced my knowledge of pets and gave me hands on experience in a pre-veterinarian science atmosphere. I can best typically do check ins and walks in the early morning and in the evening. I'm assuming that I'll be doing a typical 9 to 5, so anything before 9am or after 5pm is within reach for me to make sure your pets are well cared for and loved while you're away. ❤️ You can reach out to me with any schedule questions and I can try to work something out with you! I always do my very best to be as gentle as possible with all pets! I tend to avoid using "alpha" proving tactics unless it is necessary for my or your pets safety (ex. scruffing, using chokers tightly, using the shock option over the buzz option on an electric collar). I see these options as only being necessary when the pet is acceptionally aggressive and may hurt myself, itself, or others. I'm also very cautious around doors as I know many pets would take the opportunity to bolt it into the street if they could. I can handle bruises and scratches well from excited pets! I'm usually always covered in them from my own fur babies.
About: I have taken care of dogs of every kind! I have grown up with dogs and cats ever since I was a kid. We always had around 3 or 4 dogs in the house while I was growing up. Big or small, old or young it doesn’t matter! I can accommodate to your pets needs such as pills/medications, eye or ear drops. I am not working a job at the moment so I will be able to take care of your animal at anytime of the day that is needed! I can accommodate to any of your pets needs I want them to feel comfortable! I pay attention to detail and will keep them safe.

Back home, I help care for my family's pack of four pups — a sweet Yorkie and three energetic Dachshunds (ages 13 to just 7 months).
