I had originally booked Austin with Tyler for one week but due to housing issues I had to extend his stay. I actually had to extend Austin's stay a few times and Tyler was always happy and willing to house Austin for as long as we needed. Tyler let me come visit Austin periodically since I missed him so much, and every time I visited Austin looked great and seemed truly happy there. I will 10/10 rebook with Tyler! About: Hi! I’ve grown up with pets all my life. Now that I’m an adult I have 5 cats and a dog. I’ve fostered (and foster failed) both cats and dogs over the years. I watch my friend’s pets here and at their homes as well. At my house I have a spare room that can be your animal’s home away from home if they need their own secluded space. I also have a fenced in yard with friendly neighbors who are also animal lovers. Come in the summer and I’ll send you home with some fresh veggies from my garden too! I get up early for work and make sure to leave plenty of time to feed, clean litter boxes and make sure all my four legged babies are ready for the day. Once home in the afternoon and after I lay down on the couch they all come to find me for love and to lay on me for all the pets. At night all are welcome to sleep with me, on the couch or wherever they are the most comfortable. I home almost all day over the weekends except for the morning time on Sundays. I have a fenced in yard so any dogs are able to go outside whenever they need to to play, pee or lay in the sun. I watch my neighbor’s dogs as needed and will go over every 4 or so hours to let them out over the weekends. During the week I let them out before I go to work and then as soon as I come home. I then let them out again before bed around 8pm. I also am able to let them out as needed when they are in a pinch and can’t get home in time. My cats and yours if they come for a stay will have water and toys available to them at all times. They will be fed twice a day with a snack of crunchies before bed. If you needed me to come to your house to take care of your cats and/or dogs, I would be able to come early in the morning, after work and before bed during the week and every 4-6 hours during the weekend. While at your house I can take animals for a walk, play, give pets and love, brush or whatever else is needed. Of course I’d feed them and clean kitty litter boxes or whatever else your babies need. I am good with giving medicine to cats and dogs. I give daily medication to my dog and have had to give cats medicine in the past.

About: I’ve been an animal rescuer since childhood, and have raised my children (12-20) to do the same. My most recent official role in animal care and rescue has been via fostering dogs and cats through the Morris Animal Refuge in Philadelphia. Unofficially, I have been a proud dog mama for 11 years, and cat mama off and on since childhood. My resident doggo Patches is a proud foster father, and is comfortable with dogs and cats of all ages. If you have a pup or cat that could use a cuddle buddy while you are away, Patches is your guy. I am comfortable with and have experience in caring for cats, dogs, small mammals, birds, and small reptiles. I do have a particular aversion to cricket feeding, but we can make it work with super worms lol I do not know much about fish or amphibian care, but I am open to learning. It’s gets a little lonely in here 😊 I unfortunately do have a disability that impacts the right side of my body. Because of this, I am nervous about larger dogs that jump often (not just excited hellos), or who have strong prey drives and could potentially drag me on a walk. My dog Patches (50lbs) is walked with a gentle lead harness to keep things safe for both of us. I can handle dogs his size - or a bit larger - who do not jump, or who are low energy and would prefer to hang in the backyard rather than taking longer walks. I care for all animals as I would a human family member. I am comfortable with normal day to day care, as well as those who require special needs. I try to be very respectful of the personality of each pet. Some animals are nervous at first, and I’d like to respect their need for space and/or time to warm up to me. She used to work with my vet (so she has all that experience), so off the bat she’s excellent with animals. I was nervous to leave my Persian kitten (I have two other cats as well.). She came twice a day, and not only fed everyone and cleaned litter, she played with them. She brushed and kept my Persian spotless- and they are a lot of maintenance. She brought in my mail- and I didn’t even ask her to do that. My house was perfectly spotless and my kitties were great. I will be using her every time I go away from now on. It gave me piece of mind. When I had regular cats I used to leave them for a few days with plenty of litter food and water- but I will never do that again. About: I have had pets of my own for many years and understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for them. I'm currently a teacher, but will have the summer off which allows me to be more flexible and available for pet care throughout the day. About: I used to have a Shih-tzu named Eris who was a very sweet girl with lots of energy. I currently look after a French Bulldog from time to time who I absolutely love. I like working with small dogs/lap dogs but I can work with bigger dogs too. I work from home, and I have plenty of time to play with your dog or take them on walks. I spend most of my day ar my desk, and I would welcome the extra encouragement to go outside and take the dog for a walk. I live with two other family members who love dogs, so your dog will never go without attention. If your dog is small, then I will happily let them sit on my bed while I work, and I'll reach over to give them pets whenever they want. Larger dogs are welcome to lie in a dog bed by my desk, or downstairs on the couch with me.

About: I have owned, trained and cared for dogs, cats and horses over the last 17 years. I also work with a dog rescue organization in the area and have fostered over 40 dogs in the last 3 years. As an avid animal lover I understand the significant impact that owning animals has on our ability to travel and relax when away. I want to provide people the opportunity to travel care-free while their dogs enjoy the best care being boarded in my home. I have a very dog-friendly house with a fully secure fenced in yard. I work from home so dogs receive attention all day and night and get lots of playtime. Dogs boarded here will get free roam of the house but can also have and use a crate at the owner’s request. I am able to feed special diets and give medication as needed. If your dog stays here they will be welcomed into my house as if they were one of my own. Dogs that come here should be friendly with both male and female dogs. There are no cats in the home. I am also available for lunch time, evening and weekend dog walking. I work from home and am here almost all of the time for boarding in my home. I am also available to provide dog walks during the week in the evenings, sometimes over lunch and on the weekends. Dogs cared for in my home will be treated as if they were my own. They are able to roam about the house and use the full fenced yard. Because I work from home and manage my own schedule, I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, companionship, and check-ins throughout the day instead of pets being left alone for long periods. I have experience with animals of different temperaments through volunteering with animal shelters and farms in Wisconsin, so I’m comfortable caring for energetic pets, shy animals, and senior pets that may need extra patience and attention.
About: I have had pets all my life. For nearly twenty years I grew up having multiple rescue dogs! I have always loved animals! For the past twenty plus years I have had cats. I have also had and cared for many types of small animals including rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, gerbils, hamsters, birds as well as fish, turtles and hermit crabs! Presently, I volunteer my time with two local rescue organizations. I am dependable, reliable and flexible! From now through mid-June I have availability between 9-11am and 1-2pm. After mid June I am available all day with the exception of 11-1pm. I am available for walks and drop in visits! We have a fenced in back yard for our Golden Retriever. She is walked twice a day around our neighborhood. We try to spend as much time outside with her as possible. My cat is an indoor cat. Occasionally she walks with me around the yard with a leash and harness. I always make sure pet safety comes first!

I had originally booked Austin with Tyler for one week but due to housing issues I had to extend his stay. I actually had to extend Austin's stay a few times and Tyler was always happy and willing to house Austin for as long as we needed. Tyler let me come visit Austin periodically since I missed him so much, and every time I visited Austin looked great and seemed truly happy there. I will 10/10 rebook with Tyler! About: Hi! I’ve grown up with pets all my life. Now that I’m an adult I have 5 cats and a dog. I’ve fostered (and foster failed) both cats and dogs over the years. I watch my friend’s pets here and at their homes as well. At my house I have a spare room that can be your animal’s home away from home if they need their own secluded space. I also have a fenced in yard with friendly neighbors who are also animal lovers. Come in the summer and I’ll send you home with some fresh veggies from my garden too! I get up early for work and make sure to leave plenty of time to feed, clean litter boxes and make sure all my four legged babies are ready for the day. Once home in the afternoon and after I lay down on the couch they all come to find me for love and to lay on me for all the pets. At night all are welcome to sleep with me, on the couch or wherever they are the most comfortable. I home almost all day over the weekends except for the morning time on Sundays. I have a fenced in yard so any dogs are able to go outside whenever they need to to play, pee or lay in the sun. I watch my neighbor’s dogs as needed and will go over every 4 or so hours to let them out over the weekends. During the week I let them out before I go to work and then as soon as I come home. I then let them out again before bed around 8pm. I also am able to let them out as needed when they are in a pinch and can’t get home in time. My cats and yours if they come for a stay will have water and toys available to them at all times. They will be fed twice a day with a snack of crunchies before bed. If you needed me to come to your house to take care of your cats and/or dogs, I would be able to come early in the morning, after work and before bed during the week and every 4-6 hours during the weekend. While at your house I can take animals for a walk, play, give pets and love, brush or whatever else is needed. Of course I’d feed them and clean kitty litter boxes or whatever else your babies need. I am good with giving medicine to cats and dogs. I give daily medication to my dog and have had to give cats medicine in the past.

She even took extra time to talk with our children who were nervous for our dog's first 'sleepover' and answer any questions they had.
