We had a very busy and hectic schedule during our visit with family up in the York/Hanover area, Chelsea worked with us each day on our drop off and pick up times which allowed us to spend time with our grandkids without being rushed or stressed about our furbaby Rascal. We were updated with text and pictures from Chelsea each day she had Rascal. One of our concerns was Rascal doesn't like being crated and Chelsea let us up front she doesn't crate dogs. She allows them to be on her furniture and has dog beds for them to lay on as well. She takes them out for walks and potty breaks and Rascal seems extremely happy when he was with Chelsea and her family. If we lived in the area we would use Chelsea again and again. About: I’ve grown up with dogs for most of my life, and have done some dogsitting and dog walking before. I’ll admit it’s been a bit since I had to focus on school work for my psych degree, but now that I have to wait till fall for grad school, I figured now is the time to help out some furry friends! About: A little bit about me: I am a new graduate RN looking to make some extra money on the side! I am an all around animal lover and have spent many summers & many winter breaks pet/house sitting throughout nursing school. I have had my fair share of animals throughout my life. We always had dachshunds growing up, and I learned to love their stubbornness alongside their undying charm, I have had what seems like a million cats … I thought I could save them all… at one point I had 12 of them! lol I know, very crazy cat lady. I spent lots of time & money nursing cats back to health & have successfully found many of them very loving homes, I can happily say I am down to 2 cats! One of which has asthma, so I am experienced in giving inhalers, even to cats who really do NOT want it. My other cat has lots of anxiety, so she requires two different medications to control that so I can also give pills. I also have a corgi who is 3 years old, she is the cutest, naughtiest, most complex little thing I have ever met. She has a seizure disorder and requires three different medications every 12 hours. Anyways, the point is I have lots of experience! And I would love to have the opportunity to help take care of your fur babies & give you piece of mind while you go on vacation or have to be away from home. I am willing to take care of animals full time so all day and all night I am available as long as I know in advance. I prefer to watch animals at clients home if possible. I am very focused on making sure animals are safe and happy. I am able to walk dogs safely as well as feed and bathe them or take them outside to use them bathroom as needed. I am willing to do drop ins or stay in the home for long periods of time if needed.

About: I've taken care of neighbor's pets and friend's family pets since I was able to drive. I grew up around livestock animals and household pets. My earliest memories are of horses and dogs. I am familiar with dogs, cats, and not as common household pets such as, hampsters, and guinea pigs. I will treat and love on your pets as if they were my own. I will follow any special instructions and care as instructed. I am available for large animal care as well. I work from home and am able to commute wherever and whenever. I set my own hours and my own schedule. I tend to my own animals everyday. Caring for yours comes second nature. I will tend to your pets as if they were my own. Customer will provide instruction on how to care for their individual pet, as I understand animal needs are different, not only by species and breed, but also by age and condition. Everyone cares for their animals with different styles, I will care for yours as close to how you care for them yourselves.

Her home provided a warm, cozy and energetic vibe for our Poodle who is out going and craves human interaction. Lydia was not familiar with poodle grooming initially but after a quick demonstration and positive feedback she mastered it in no time. I appreciated her attention to detail, ability to communicate throughout the day and her willingness to learn how to care for specific dog breeds. It was a mutual rewarding experience and she even supervised her children doing obedience training with our pup.”
