“Shanna is a wonderful dog sitter. This is our second time having our dogs stay with her and we will definitely be asking Shanna next time we need a sitter! You can tell she genuinely loves dogs and makes them feel so loved and cared for. She sent several pictures every day and our pups looked so relaxed and happy. Highly highly recommend!!”

“Jennifer and Devin were amazing! We came from Orlando for vacation and they were very communicative before and during the stay. They made me feel very safe that Akiro was going to be in good hands while we went out. Akiro was feeling a little sick from the stress of traveling and she reassured me that they can still watch him. Their pup Batman was so so sweet and was such a good friend to Akiro. He was showing him all the good spots to lay on the couch. They also provided me with many pictures to make sure we knew he was having a good time.”

“Rocky very much enjoyed his stay. Loved playing with the other dogs. Got pictures and videos of him having a great time! Would definitely recommend Nick and Marissa for a safe environment. Will definitely use them again”

“Valerie was fantastic with communication and care of our dog Faith. Faith bonded with Valerie and her son right away and was her energetic self when she returned home. Everything went smoothly and I would certainly trust Valerie again with Faith.”

“Samantha and Ian took wonderful care of our pups while we were on vacation for a week. They sent many updates and photos while we were away. Our dogs didn't want to come home I don't think! We have tried many dog sitters and will only be using Samantha and Ian from here out!”

“Nelia and her family were wonderful with our dog Caity! Very kind and gracious home, I know she was well cared for. I received lots of pictures and updates on our dog’s day from Nelia, which was thoughtful:) This is the second time their family has helped us and I’m sure we will book again in the future!”

“My pup, Frankie, always has the very best time at Maria and Tony’s house, and is extremely well taken care of while my family and I are out of town. If peace of mind and wonderful care for your beloved pets are important to you, I highly recommend contacting Maria!!”

“Amy was great to work with and flexible about drop off and pick up when my flights were constantly changing. She kept me up to date with photos while we were away and Chimay seemed to be in good health and happy when I picked her up. I recommend Amy if your dog is good in groups. Looks like they have a blast playing with each other.”

“We had great experience with Jena and Nick. Dexter received lots of love, personal attention, playtime, daily walks. Their pet Sebastian was a very nice dog and became great buddy of Dexter in a short time. They have a very nice and clean fenced backyard too. Dexter really enjoyed his time with Jena, Nick and Sebastian… We really appreciate their effort in making sure Dexter felt it at home…Thank you Jane, Nick and Sebastian for being so lovely to Dexter.”

“Raeann is a compassionate and caring person who showed great affection towards our 12 y/o girl. Would recommend her services and would like to use her services in the future.”

“Cheryl is impossibly lovely. Our dog is a nervous boarder - he often struggles the first few days. But he didn't spend a single night in his crate while in Cheryl's care. She was super flexible with the start and end time of our stay and clearly gave our pupper a second home while we were away. We couldn't ask for a better experience.”

“We love sending our pup to Michael, and our pup loves it too! He’s always so excited when we pull up to go to “camp,” and it always seems like he has the best time when he’s there! We couldn’t imagine sending him to anyone else.”

“Frankie had an amazing time, and Maria was incredibly accommodating when our schedule changed during the visit. Frankie thoroughly enjoyed playing with her new dog friends, and we will definitely be relying on Maria’s services again in the future!”

“This was our puppy's first night away from home and I can't say enough about how reassuring it was to have him at Emily and Patrick's. He loved having another dog to play with. They had mountains of toys to entertain him as well. We got pictures and videos. And, more importantly, they kept him content despite his separation distress. We'll definitely come back to them when we need a dogsitter!”

About: I’m the person that animals always seem to love and I feel the same in return. Whether you’re trusting me in your home or bringing your animal to mine, you can be assured that I’ll care for them with love, safety and responsibility foremost in mind. I’ve had animals my entire life as has my husband and my two boys have inherited our love for them as well. I’m currently a stay at home mom to 2 boys, ages 5 and 7, so I have plenty of time to make sure your animal is getting the care they need. We have a small home and a large yard on a quiet street. Your pup will enjoy at least 4-5 walks outside per day, I can adapt the length to your dog’s particular exercise needs. We have a crate, if your dog prefers, and I can have separate up/downstairs accommodations if needed but generally your pet will have free reign of my home and family.
“I had a true peace of mind when I was able to keep my collie with Michael-the day before Easter!! He walked him to get to know him better. Then, Michael let him out in the yard with half the herd before introducing him to the whole pack. Michael also texted photos throughout the day, which gave me relief that my Davey wasn’t being a pain in the butt! I will call on Michael to watch Davey again and again. Marianne L.”

“Adrienne is awesome and straight up THE BEST! She is super dedicated, very professional, and easy/very reliable regarding communication. I can’t recommend her highly enough, and I have zero hesitation leaving my Lily with her.”

“Melissa was amazing. Jake and I received an amazingly warm welcome when dropping off. My dog has anxiety issues and Melissa and her crew were wonderful. They took Jake on walks, took him to the park and he was so happy. Truly one of the best experiences Jake and I have had. So incredibly wonderful.”

“Laura provided the best doggy day care for our dog, Layla! They took such great care of our quirky girl and each day she was more excited than the last when I dropped her off. I know Layla can’t wait to go back again.”

“Valerie and her son were absolutely incredible!! We made the request last minute and she was able to accommodate us which was so sweet. She’s great with communication and flexible as well. Most importantly, she kept in touch with us throughout the day, kept Wilson active and playful, and gave us a very detailed report at the end of the day. We are so lucky we found Valerie, would highly recommend!!”

“This was my dog's first day at dog day care and it was only for a couple hours just to try it out. But everything went very well. Chang updated me with pictures shortly after dropping my dog off to assure me he was doing well. When I picked him up he was happy to see me but also seemed like he would have followed Chang back to her house if she wanted him to. So that was very comforting to see that he liked her. I will be a repeat customer.”

“Erin was very responsive. I love that she sends update photos of Litte Hay. She has a bigger dog that get along so well with Little Hay, which is a plus since my little girl loves meeting new friends. Will definitely rebook wirh Erin again.”

Your pet will be staying in our home's dedicated and separate room that has direct access to a half acre, surrounded by 6-foot privacy fencing, ideal for a safe play and exercise. I am a certified Yellow Dog Walker through Animal Friends and specialize in positive reinforcement, earning each dog’s trust through patience, consistency, and respect. Dogs from different households are introduced carefully and only if both owners approve. Every dog in my care follows a reliable routine built around their owner’s preferences. Feeding, playtime, cuddle breaks, and outdoor exercise are all kept on schedule, with regular potty breaks every few hours to maintain comfort and consistency. I am experienced in administering oral and topical medications, as well as muscular injections. In the rare event of an emergency, I act quickly and responsibly by providing first aid, contacting the owner immediately, and working with their veterinarian or PVSEC, which is 15 minutes away, if advanced care is needed. Boarding, overnight care, and in-home sitting are all available. Clients receive daily photo and video updates to stay connected and reassured. My family takes pride in maintaining a clean, attentive, and loving environment. Choosing our care means your pet is treated with the same responsibility, structure, and affection we give our own. Pet care is fully integrated into my daily routine, as I work from home full time boarding horses. I maintain a structured schedule that begins early in the morning with feeding, medication administration if needed, and outdoor time in the fenced yard. Throughout the day, I rotate between play sessions, walks, and quiet time to keep pets balanced and comfortable. Evening routines include another round of feeding, bathroom breaks, and wind-down time before bed. For boarding and overnight care, I remain on-site to ensure consistent supervision. I plan my workday and personal schedule around the animals’ needs so no pet is ever left waiting for attention or care. Every pet in my care is treated with the same level of safety and respect as my own. My home and facility are designed for secure, low-stress care, featuring a half-acre yard enclosed by a six-foot privacy fence where dogs can exercise freely under supervision. I never mix pets from different households unless both owners confirm compatibility. Feeding areas, bedding, and play equipment are cleaned and sanitized regularly. I monitor all pets closely for signs of stress, discomfort, or illness and respond immediately. In the rare event of an emergency, I apply first aid, contact the owner, and consult their veterinarian or PVSEC if advanced care is required. Trust is built through consistency, transparency, and communication, with daily photo or video updates provided to owners for peace of mind.

“Brianna always goes above and beyond for my pup Venture. She put some paw balm on and carried him down the stairs outside so he wouldnt get salt on his paws. I would definitely recommend you book with her.”

“We have used him twice and he went above and beyond both times walking my dog, from taking him in his car to a better location for a walk to potty breaks and putting him back in his cage and setting it up the way it was before for his anxiety I would absolutely recommend to anyone”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. (my soul dog’s ashes are in my paw tattoo 🐾🩷) I grew up with Rottweilers and currently have two of my own, Gino & Haus, they're my whole world! I also have a handful of kitties🥰 My passion for animal care goes back as far as I can remember. From baby videos of me crawling on my dog and giving him a big hug & kiss, to completing a veterinary training class in 10th grade, where I learned the basics of animal health and handling! There even was one time I rescued two dogs on the side of the highway who had dug out of their backyard!! I now have about 3.5 years of hands-on experience working with animals, including two years at doggy daycares, where I've cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I treat every pet like they're my own and I always try my best to give them a safe, loving, reliable person they can trust just as much as they trust you, no matter how long it takes them to warm up to me. Working with animals is more than just a job to me—it's what I love, and I plan to make it my lifelong career. If your pet ends up having as much fun as I do while watching them, please describe their experience in a review! it would mean the world to me and help me spread my word and my love for animals 🫶 I work at a doggy daycare with a flexible schedule, so my availability varies from week to week. I am almost always able to stay overnight for house sitting, and depending on my work schedule, I can spend all day, all morning, or all afternoon and evening with your baby. I always try to spend as much time as I can with your baby. (leaving work is as hard as you can imagine) My most common shift is 1:00 PM–7:00 PM, though I can also work morning, afternoon, and split shifts, though the weekday morning shifts are extremely rare. My weekday shifts are never longer than 6.5 hours, and the only time I may be away for up to 10 hours is on the occasional Saturday when I'm scheduled for a longer shift. On Sundays, I usually work split shifts, which means I'm able to come home and spend about 2½ hours with your pet between work periods. If it's a good fit for your baby and you're comfortable with it (and comfortable paying for it😅), I'd also be happy to talk about bringing them with me to my work so they can enjoy extra socialization, enrichment, and attention, while never leaving my side! I'm committed to keeping your babies routine as normal as possible and will always communicate my schedule ahead of time so you know exactly what to expect!! Your babies safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priority. I love to take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and other special needs so they feel comfortable and cared for while you're away, as if you haven’t even left! I am experienced in administering medications, following food schedules, and providing extremely gentle and personal care. Walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, I'll always make sure your baby gets plenty of exercise, attention, playtime, and affection (and making sure they know it!!) while I keep their routine as normal and consistent as I possibly can! I treat every pet as if they were my own, and pay close attention to their behavior so I can quickly notice and respond accordingly with any changes or concerns. You will also always get regular updates and photos about how they were and their day!
About: Hi, I actually go by Asher but Rover won't let me update my name yet. I'm a former direct support professional for disabled humans. Lydia was my first dog, a 75 pound shepherd mix with anxiety that I slowly trained because she came from living in a shelter her entire life. I know what it's like to worry about leaving your pet in a kennel where they can pick up diseases or pests, and they have dozens of animals to look after. In my home your pet would have their own space, be taken for walks regularly, and be given much more attention than at a kennel. Animals need attention in order to thrive, but sometimes busy lives make it hard to give all they deserve. Hiring help is the best way to meet their needs while you're taking care of the other parts of your life. March 2025 note: I am only able to do walks and drop ins at this time. My dog only accompanies me when prearranged with the owner's permission. I work overnights thurs-sat and have sun-weds free to do Rover care. Early mornings and evenings are best for me. I typically walk about 25k steps a day and can lift over 200lbs, so that carrying my 90lb dog in an emergency isn't an issue. This makes me ideal for large and giant pet owners, especially those with senior dogs. I have experience with senior and disabled pets. I've never hesitated to put an animal first when it's in distress, but my ideal is to help prevent your pets from ever becoming distressed in the first place. Have experience with high anxiety, reactive, and shy animals.
“Lyla was great. Communication was easy from the start, and she was reliable about showing up every day we had scheduled. No chasing her down for updates, no last minute cancellations. If you’re looking for a dog walker you can actually count on, she’s a good pick.”

“It was our first time using Rover and Lindsey was an excellent companion and dog walker for our pit bull mix! Her report after each visit was thorough and usually included an extra anecdote about their time together and great pictures! Lindsey very concerned and asked for our advice when our dog wasn't eating much food when we initially left. We appreciated her initiative. When there was a big rain storm and they couldn't walk outside, Lindsey spent the time playing with our dog inside and gave him the attention and exercise that he needed. Overall a great experience and highly recommend Lindsey!”

About: Dog walking & sitting was my very first job, and has always remained my favorite. I am a mom to a 2 year old Cavalier King Charles boy but have cared for dogs of all sizes and ages, including older ones who require medications. I only work very part-time and am looking to make dog walking more a part of my weekly life! They say a job should be what you love doing and I love taking care of doggos. I can make your dog's care a priority, dedicating time and focus on them. I am punctual and trustworthy, and offer clear and consistent communication. I understand how it feels to leave your dog's care in someone else's hands. Sometimes we just have to! I will show up to your home on time, taking your doggo for the exercise they need, and making sure they have ample bathroom and play time.
About: I have 3 pets of my own that I love so so much (2 cats and a dog). I have always cared for my neighbors pets as they have relied on me for the past few years every now and then. I have experience with both cats and dogs and have been pet sitting locally for 3 or 4 years now. I am comfortable with walking, feeding, and bathing pets. Hopefully you can rely on me to look after your pets this summer! I am currently in college at Duquesne University and am looking for some extra work this summer. I am looking to start work at a daycare part time but not until later so I thought this opportunity would be perfect. I will have plenty of free time until then to look after your pets! I have 2 cats and a dog who are my baby’s. I do not do boarding in my own home due to a temperament issue of our younger cat, but gladly will visit your fur baby’s and care for them that way! I am very trustworthy and can communicate well if there are any issues. I know some animals have dietary restrictions and such and will make sure to follow any instructions of care necessary.
About: Caring for pets has always been part of my life, not just something I do, but something I truly love. I share my home with my big-hearted Golden Retriever Lucy Goose who brings joy, structure, and a lot of personality into my daily routine. Through her—and the many pets I’ve cared for—I’ve gained hands-on experience with feeding schedules, daily walks, playtime, enrichment, medications, and recognizing subtle changes in behavior or health. I’ve also had the joy of hosting pets with special needs, recently including a vivacious little pug puppy with epilepsy. Providing a calm, consistent, and loving environment is something I take pride in. Every pet in my care is treated with patience, respect, and genuine affection—just like one of my own. While away, your pet is my family and I am fiercely protective of my family. Hi, I’m Jess! I’m a lifelong animal lover and dog mom to a sweet Golden Retriever who’s very much part of my everyday life. Caring for pets is something that feels natural to me—it’s woven into my daily routine, not something squeezed in as an afterthought. My Lucy Goose is a large Golden Retriever with the sweetest, most gentle “little dog energy.” She’s very social, kind, and welcoming, and does wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. She has happily shared her space with smaller dogs and special-needs pets, and all interactions are always supervised to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I work during the week for about 6–8 hours a day, and outside of that time my life revolves around walks, fresh air, playtime, and creating a calm, loving home. Pet care fits seamlessly into my schedule, and I’m intentional about making sure every pet in my care gets plenty of attention, affection, and consistency. I treat every pet like they’re my own—learning their quirks, honoring their routines, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. Whether your pet loves long walks, backyard playtime, or quiet companionship, I’m happy to meet them right where they are. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets can truly relax. My home includes a fully fenced backyard for secure outdoor play, and I supervise pets closely throughout the day. I also have a few pup gates to ensure safe calm and private pet feedings or if quiet time is needed. I also use cameras for added peace of mind and awareness while I am out and about. Whether pets are in my home or yours, I follow routines carefully, respect boundaries, and keep a watchful eye on behavior, comfort, and wellbeing. I communicate openly and provide updates because I know how reassuring it is to see your pet happy and cared for.
About: As a compassionate animal enthusiast with over 25 years of experience, I am dedicated to providing exceptional care for your pets. Drawing from my diverse background as a mother, military veteran, and preschool teacher, I have built strong caregiving skills. In addition, in the past I have worked professionally as a veterinary technician for three years. Throughout my life, I have had the pleasure of owning various pets, including cats, dogs, chinchillas, hedgehogs, fish, pygmy goats, guinea pigs, turtles, and leopard geckos. Currently, I care for an English bulldog, a cat, and three guinea pigs. Having relocated to the Pittsburgh area in June 2024, I am excited to offer customized care solutions for your pet. As a preschool teacher with summers off, I am well-suited to provide your pets with the love, attention, and care they require, treating them with the same kindness I show my own pets. My availability during the school year is limited to nights, weekend, and holiday breaks. I am currently working as a preschool teacher. This gives me the whole summer off which allows me to be very flexible to care for your pets when you can't. I am committed to keeping your pet on the schedule you and your family want for them. All while keeping them safe and loving them.

“Isabelle’s love of animals shines thru her smile. My sugar loves her. They had a wonderful tail wagging walk together. It gave me time that I needed and I know sugar was getting special time with a special friend. I will schedule more time with Izzy in the future!”

“Lindsay and her family were so sweet and accommodating. They went out of their way to learn about my puppy and sent updates. They were there when I needed them. Thank you!”

“Mary and her family were great! We had absolutely no worries leaving our dog with them for the weekend. Mary sent updates and pictures throughout the weekend, keeping us posted on how great it was going! Definitely going to rebook!”

“Meliisa and her family are amazing !!! They took such great care of Balto !! Balto became part of the family while he was there and enjoyed all the things he does at home :). Highly recommend Meliisa !!”

“Raeann is a compassionate and caring person who showed great affection towards our 12 y/o girl. Would recommend her services and would like to use her services in the future.”

“Courtney is wonderful with my dogs. I can always go away and feel comfortable leaving them with. I appreciate every thing she does for them and I know they will be safe and well taken care of.”

“Our pups are treated like family by Coralee! She administers medications and supplements for our pup with with extra needs. She always goes above and beyond to communicate with us on a daily basis, with pictures, which we so appreciate over a busy holiday week! I cannot recommend Coralee and her family enough to care for your pups.”

“Adrienne is absolutely amazing. She definitely knows how to handle your precious furry family members and gives full attention to parent and fur-kid. The daily pictures of activities kept me entertained but also confident in quality of care. I will be coming back for sure...”

“Leni loved staying with Anthony and Leslie! They played with her, took her for walks, and treated her like family! We look forward to having Anthony and Leslie keep Leni for us next month 😁”
