“We 100% recommend Emily! We've booked with her multiple times now and she's been great. We arranged twice daily visits with our 2 cats while we've been out of town. They're very temperamental and generally not a fan of people from outside our household, but Emily's been very patient, letting them decide to be friends on their own terms when they were ready. It makes having to leave them much less stressful when I know they have some consistency, company, and their own home environment. She sends lots of pictures and updates and has been very flexible in working with us when we've had some last minute planning. She also made sure to look at the Rover pricing breakdown carefully, refunding us when it looked like we were being overcharged (when we booked, it was charging us the holiday rate for the entire booking, instead of just the holiday weekend). About: I am a patient and caring dog owner who has been surrounded by pets my whole life. They are a complete part of our family! I currently work from home with my 1 small senior dog (under 10 pounds) in the house. In the past, I have had Labrador Retrievers and a Viszla. All have been rescues. In recent years, I was heavily involved in a senior dog rescue and fostered a wide variety of dogs. Many of the dogs had supplemental needs, requiring additional care. This included strict medication schedules, teaching blind dogs to navigate their surroundings, teaching dogs with special needs to learn confidence and better mobility, and even one from a hoarding situation that needed to completely learn socialization skills and how to walk on grass! We even have stools at each couch for our smaller guests to get up and down easily! :) If your pup prefers alone time, we have plenty of doggie beds for them to choose from. I strive to offer them a home away from home, all while allowing them to freedom to wander and relax wherever they feel comfortable. I look forward to meeting your pup! I currently work from home with a flexible schedule that is determined by me. I am home all day and can attend to your pet's needs whenever necessary. If they are at my home, I allow your pet to wander freely and find a spot to relax wherever they feel comfortable. “Kim was so accommodating with me. Willow was going to arrive around 2pm, then 4pm and then after 5pm as our drive and lunch stop took longer than expected. Willow is not used to other dogs since she is an only dog at home and can get quite stressed but she was great when I picked her up and Kim and her husband updated me with pictures with her on their laps and outside. She was always very prompt to respond. Nice big back yard which Willow loves. Overall, it was a great experience - way better than a kennel.”

About: I'm a huge animal lover - big and small! I've had dogs and cats my whole life. We have a sweet cat who absolutely loves every dog that comes through our home. We currently have a Great Dane and Great Pyrenees as well as chickens, 1 guinea pig, 2 rabbits and fish. I'm all about making sure our babies are happy and healthy and living the best life we can provide to them. After doing much research and lots of experience, I've learned a lot about a dog's language and how to respect them. I will treat your pets as if they are my own and will love on them just the same. I can't wait to meet your fur-babies! Rover is my full time job right now so I’m available to take care of your pup throughout the day as need be, whether that’s just hanging out or a walk or potty break, etc. I have a large fenced in yard and our 2 dogs will gladly keep your pup company and enjoy running around. I can easily crate if need be as well.
