Poncho and her dog Tokie were similar in size, age, and activity level so they seemed to get along great. She has a large fenced property for the dogs to explore and run around. I got daily updates as well as pictures and videos of Poncho, which made my family and I feel better about leaving him. Chonlada and her family took great care of Poncho (spoiled him...lol) and made sure he ate his meals and slept comfortably. They also comforted him during a thunder storm, which he does not like. Chonlada even contacted me when she noticed that Poncho was licking his paws and had a small abrasion, which she treated and monitored. We were away on vacation when a huge snowstorm hit, and Kim made a plan to ensure she could care for Peanut and Milo. Milo also had some special medical needs, including diabetes, and she did great with administering his insulin and meds. Kim is an excellent communicator. She is patient and friendly. She doesn't react to him the way most would and genuinely takes clues from him. Ive been so worried to try and have him build a relationship with someone and I dont think I could have gotten anyone better. We received lots of updates and pictures during Penny’s stay, and she clearly enjoyed romping around the yard with the other dogs. Penny was very well cared for while we were away, and we are extremely grateful!”
