About: We have been married for 37 years and we have always had a dog. Georgie, our Cavapoo,is our fur baby. He’s a spayed 4 year old playful male. We live very close to a dog park where we take him to play often. We have a fenced yard and an acre and a half of green space. My wife and I are retired. We are up till around 11 at night and wake around 8:30. After coffee, we usually play some tennis or lounge by our pool. We take our Cavapoo to the local dog park for outdoor playtime in the evening when the temperature is cooler. We also play indoors through out the day. We sit down to watch tv around 8:00 and Georgie is usually on a lap snoozing. Our home is a non smoking home with CO2/smoke detectors in every room, basement and top floor. Those are all linked so if one goes by off they all go off. The yard is fenced due to a swimming pool. It will be covered in October with a cover that supports my weight. We are in a rural area with deer, squirrels, and various other wildlife. Our children are all adult and we are empty nesters at this point. We are currently not watching our grand sons, though they do drop in to visit.

About: I’ve adored taking care of especially cats since I was just a little kid! I understand that they’re more likely to have pickier needs that dogs which I am always happy to adapt too! Maintaining a cats area and appearance is very important for them and I am willing to clean litter boxes, cat towers, and even the cat themselves with bathing and fur grooming. Medications are also not a problem, I have tricks to ensure your cat takes or is given proper treatments as needed. About: I’ve been around dogs of all different sizes and breeds since I was a young kid. I have always loved dogs and wanted my house full of them when I got older. About: Taking care of dogs and cats has been my specialty since I was a child! I have had 8 dogs of all kinds, as well as 10 cats, not including my grandmother’s. My family and neighbors would trust me to feed and water their pets while they were away. I am great at crating puppies and socializing feral/young kittens. About: I've taken care or have owned dogs my entire life. Last August, we lost our best friend, Nala, too soon. She was a German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP) and at the age of 5 was impacted by a very rare auto-immune disease especially for her breed. This was a tragic loss for my family and I and at this moment owning/adopting another dog would be hard. We don't want to ever experience that kind of pain. About: I have owned/taken care of dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. I have cared for animals with special needs, as well as worked on a farm for a few years. I take caring for other animals very seriously. I would love and care for them like they were my own. I am currently working from home and have a very flexible schedule. I can work from anywhere as well as take breaks when need be. Please feel free to call or text me with any questions you may have. I am willing to be flexible with my pricing when it comes to watching more than one dog. I currently do not have a fenced in yard, I hope for this to change sometime in the near future. However, I do live across the street from a park with a walking trail, so am able to take them for long walks multiple times a day. If I am caring for your fur baby at your home, I will make sure to keep the same activities they are used to while you are away.

About: I’ve been caring for and loving dogs my entire life, with extensive hands-on experience caring for large and senior dogs. I’ve volunteered over 1,000 hours at Damien’s Gift animal sanctuary, caring for animals with a wide range of needs. I’ve adopted large senior dogs and have experience with breeds including Kuvasz and Huskies. I’m comfortable with grooming, administering medications, and providing the patience and attention every dog deserves. I’ve opened my home to provide a temporary, loving place for many dogs when their owners faced homelessness, medical issues, or other difficult circumstances. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your beloved dog in someone else’s care, and I treat every dog as one of my own. Availability I work part-time from home so I’m usually here with the dogs. I’m home and available most of the time, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. I’m happy to work with you on your dog’s individual schedule and needs. Our Environment Your dog will stay in a peaceful, spacious 60-acre homestead at the end of a quiet road, surrounded by a creek and plenty of room to explore. I have a very secure, fully fenced large yard for safe outdoor time and plenty of space to relax. I have miles of walking trails through the woods, around the fields and down to the creek. Inside my home, I have several kennels available if needed, including a large 5’ x 10’ kennel and a 3’ x 5’ kennel. Most importantly, dogs are treated as part of the family and receive plenty of love, attention, and supervision.
