“This was our first boarding experience with our one year old pup Scarlett, and it went very well. While it was hard to leave our girl for a week, we knew she would be in good hands. We did a meet and greet a couple weeks earlier, and she took to Karen and Donald immediately. They were kind and professional. They have a good set up for dogs and very dedicated to their care. We brought Scarlett's crate, food, toys, and snacks- a lot of stuff, but she had her familiar comforts. She got to play in the yard frequently, befriend another pup, and have lots of cuddle time and treats. Karen and Donald were great about sending updates, and it comforted me to know Scarlett was having a good time. We would be a repeat customer for future trips. While they have their purpose, I was so happy she didn't have to go to a kennel and got to be with very nice people.”

From the very beginning, she was kind, communicative, and incredibly professional—but what truly blew us away was everything that happened *after* we booked her for what was supposed to be just a single day. Due to unexpected circumstances on our end, that one day turned into three… and she handled it with nothing but grace, flexibility, and genuine care. “There are not enough words in the dictionary to describe Joanne. She is extremely wonderful, compassionate, and truly the best of the best! Her love for all furbabies is outstanding. Our Nala is a "skittish cat" to begin with and hides all the time so we told Joanne you probably won't see her but we really do have a cat ?. She took the time to sing to her, look for her and truly cared for her every need. She sent us her report every day with a picture of food dishes, a fake cat pillow and finally she caught her. Through her wit and " shenanigans" lol she was able to get a picture of Nala. We laughed for hours and it made us feel so at ease and we knew Nala had met her match. I work a lot from home only gone a few hours at a time if I do need to go out for any jobs or errands... I do have an indoor/outdoor kennel in my barn in the house I have a spare bedroom a pet can have if they need their own space also a mud room which I mostly use for kittens/cats I have trapped...

About: I don't have much experience with dog care. My family briefly had a dog or two when we lived in Trinidad and Tobago for about 2 years. And my oldest brother briefly lived with a Husky. I've been surrounded by cats most of my life since I was about 15 years old and now I'm 42 years old. About: I’ve been taking care of animals my whole life. I worked at a dog hotel, where I took care of almost 30 dogs at a time. I know a lot about all different ages and breeds. I’ve trained a few dogs as well! I also have bathed and trimmed nails. Animals are my passion and I would absolutely love to help make sure yours is taken care of! I’m a stay at home mom so other than a few errands here and there I’ll be home all day taking care of your pup! I have a large yard that isn’t fenced but I love taking walks rain or shine and I have a long leash to make sure the pups stay safe. I have 2 dog who absolutely loves other dogs they will make sure your dog gets exercise but if needed I’m more than comfortable making sure your pup has a quiet space I do require a crate to come with your pup. I also prefer them to be spayed or neutered but that’s on a case to case basis. My children are also really good with dogs and loves playing fetch with them
