“This was perfect for what I needed. We had no local friends or family that could take our cat. We were going to be away but he couldn't be at the house because we were having work done on it while we were gone. They took our cat into their home. I was surprised to see they had other cats when I arrived. But one question on the survey was if your pet does well with other cats, which he does, but cats tend to not be friendly with new cats initially so I was a bit worried they'd fight, but they had a separate area, a sun room that they allowed Sox to adjust in and during the week they had sent pictures of him being inside the home on the couch so obviously it was fine. I actually never met or dealt with Sarah only her Mom. Which I felt was odd. I was expecting the person pictured, the person I paid. Her Mom was lovely and clearly there were no issues and my cat was returned safely to me, I just felt it was odd the Sarah was sleeping or "resting because she works a lot" both times I was there. I didn't take any stars off my review for that, because again the service accomplished what I needed which was my cat to be cared for outside of my home.”

About: I've had dogs in my life since I was in my 20s. I have crate and potty trained all my dogs. I have patience and compassion for dogs. I would often meet up with friends and family at house party gathering and dog park gatherings to socialize my dogs and to show them love, companionship, and that they are a member of the family not only a pet. I've kept and cared for dogs until there dying age and paid for there cremation. I am indeed a dog loving person. I’ve rehabbed / saved several wild animals back to their natural environment. There will always be someone home during the work week.. I have a flexible work schedule. I work in the office few times a week; however, work is only a mile away so I come home for an hour lunch break at noon (Schedule is 8-5). My husband works overnight (remote) and sleeps for few hours in the early mornings then takes the dogs for a walk later in the afternoon. We are typically home during the weekends with few hours here and there for errands. There will never be a time we are gone for more than 4 hours at a time. I have walking trails in the area to walk your dogs within my community. I have a small backyard for small dogs or seniors; if walks are not part of their daily routine. More than anything, I keep pets engaged, comfortable and safe, so owners can feel truly at ease. I am a jiu jitsu and yoga instructor, as well as a homemaker. My schedule is fairly open, and easily adjusted to accommodate your fur baby’s needs. I will follow any and all instructions provided for the safe & comfortable handling of your fur baby. When out of the house for a walk, I will ensure they are leashed and I will be always in full alert to prioritize your fur baby’s experience.
About: I have had and taken care of several of my own dogs in the past. I have a couple years of experience with house and dog sitting for family and close friends! Also I’m willing to take care of plants and will keep the home clean! I work a full time job between 7-4 Monday through Friday in Lancaster city. But if housesitting, I am available to take dogs on a walk in the morning and right after work! On weekends, I am typically very open. In my home: I do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have a large yard to run around in when I need to take a dog out for a potty break. I have a nice neighborhood to take the dog on long walks when needed. I have plenty of space in my home for the dog to run around in. Clients home: I can be at the clients home whenever is needed outside of my work schedule. I am willing to take care of the dog however they are typically taken care of.
About: My whole live I have always had animals and/or was surrounded by them. I have taken care of families pets and homes since I was around 10 and have had my own pet care experience since I was around 6. Pets are family. And with me, they will be treated as such! This summer my availability is open and flexible due to only working part time. I have a lot of weekends open and even more weekdays. During my time with your pets, I will focus on keeping them active and using enrichment techniques when needed. If you have pets with a bit more anxiety, we can also relax at home.
About: Hi! I’ve had about 10 years of experience with my own dog and cat and would love to care for yours! Previous experience dog walking, drop-in visits, and in-home stays for up to a week+. I also have experience with administering insulin/medication if that might be a special need of your own pet. Going on walks, playing, and all around quality time with your furry friends are just a few things I can do to make them happy while you’re away. About: When I was 8 my father surprised me with our first ever dog Harley! I fell in love instantly and am so grateful to have grown up with him in our family. When I grew older I took on more rolls taking care of Harley which gave me basic experience in pet care. When he was a senior dog I learned a lot through his medical issues like how to handle medicine and emergency vet visits.
