He has a medical condition - Cushing's Disease, which requires meds to be given on schedule 3x a day, and more potty breaks than a well pup would require. Her lifetime of experience and ease with animals was obvious from the moment we met. Benji's comfort and confidence with Kate, her family and their home, was immediate. As someone who had been nervous about leaving my buddy prior to meeting Kate, I wound up feeling very confident and comfortable leaving him with her! Kate was fantastic with Benji! She sent me photos each day, which allowed me to see his activities and how much fun he was having on his vacation! I currently work from home with my 1 small senior dog (under 10 pounds) in the house. In the past, I have had Labrador Retrievers and a Viszla. All have been rescues. In recent years, I was heavily involved in a senior dog rescue and fostered a wide variety of dogs. Many of the dogs had supplemental needs, requiring additional care. This included strict medication schedules, teaching blind dogs to navigate their surroundings, teaching dogs with special needs to learn confidence and better mobility, and even one from a hoarding situation that needed to completely learn socialization skills and how to walk on grass! Your dog will be completely pampered and showered with affection during the time we are together. Your dog will be treated like a royal guest! We have plenty of large windows to look out and soft couches to relax on. We even have stools at each couch for our smaller guests to get up and down easily! :) If your pup prefers alone time, we have plenty of doggie beds for them to choose from. About: My family has had a dog and a cat in the home ever since I was born. I have been watching dogs and cats since a young age whether that be for neighbors, friends, family or referrals. For the past two years I have worked with local animal shelters and fostered puppies or cats in my home through their shelter, including potty, crate and leash training. I am currently working at home 2 days and in the office 3 days a week but I am available all day on the weekends! “Kate (and her family) are wonderful! From the moment I contacted her, Kate impressed me with her genuine caring and interest in my Benji. He has a medical condition - Cushing's Disease, which requires meds to be given on schedule 3x a day, and more potty breaks than a well pup would require. Her lifetime of experience and ease with animals was obvious from the moment we met. Benji's comfort and confidence with Kate, her family and their home, was immediate. As someone who had been nervous about leaving my buddy prior to meeting Kate, I wound up feeling very confident and comfortable leaving him with her! Kate was fantastic with Benji! She sent me photos each day, which allowed me to see his activities and how much fun he was having on his vacation! She also kept me informed of how he was doing overall, with his meds, and didn't hesitate to ask questions or let me know about any concerns that she had - I so appreciate these interactions! Kate is an awesome sitter and person, and I recommend her with all of my heart! She took wonderful care of my Benji, and I know that he's looking forward to his next vacation with her! About: I've had an incredibly friendly and energetic black lab that I have loved for 14 years now. I have a great home which is a fantastic space for pets. My current black lab is great with other pets and I'd love to care for other dogs! I'm a college student home for the summer and have plenty of free time to help take care of dogs! My current black lab eats every morning around 7 am and again for dinner around 5 pm. She takes poddy breaks often and we have a large back yard for her to play and run. She also loves to go for walks and car rides which I do for her often. I have a fantastic house with great environment for pets. I grew up loving dogs and know how to make them happy! My home will be a great place for your dog to stay!

About: I'm a huge animal lover - big and small! I've had dogs and cats my whole life. We have a sweet cat who absolutely loves every dog that comes through our home. We currently have a Great Dane and Great Pyrenees as well as chickens, 1 guinea pig, 2 rabbits and fish. I'm all about making sure our babies are happy and healthy and living the best life we can provide to them. After doing much research and lots of experience, I've learned a lot about a dog's language and how to respect them. I will treat your pets as if they are my own and will love on them just the same. I can't wait to meet your fur-babies! Rover is my full time job right now so I’m available to take care of your pup throughout the day as need be, whether that’s just hanging out or a walk or potty break, etc. I have a large fenced in yard and our 2 dogs will gladly keep your pup company and enjoy running around. I can easily crate if need be as well.
“Cali was amazing with our dog Ollie while we were away! She walked him multiple times a day to help get his energy out. She even included some photos daily! Ollie was very happy to stay with Cali and made himself comfortable right away.”
