“Charissa, Shawn and family, provided EXCEPTIONAL care for our boy. He had such a great time that all he wanted to do was nap when he got home. (Which is fantastic as he is a high energy boy!) They had to navigate losing power to a horrible storm and yet still kept him safe and cool and provided updates as they could. It really felt like leaving him with family! 10/10 will book again!”

“Searching someone to care for my sweet boy, Charlie, came at a stressful time last week. I cannot begin to tell you what a wonderful experience we had with Tara A. in Lancaster, PA. The kind, caring and fun nature of their home and care leaves me forever indebted to them. And relieved to know that anytime Charlie may need to stay at Camp Tara’s in the future — there’s no place I’d rather he go! Many thanks, again, Tara A.! Charlie hated to see you walk away. We told Michael about it when we arrived and he was more than willing to take care of him. Turns out that our dog had a what appeared to be a partial blockage. Michael without hesitation was willing to take him to our vet to be diagnosed. He then faithfully gave him his medication all while communicating everything with us. We are more than grateful. We would highly recommend Erin for anyone else and would happily ask her to help support our kitten in the future if needed.”

“Gabriella was an amazing pet sitter I highly recommend. I have a free roam rabbit so I wasn’t sure where to find a sitter that accommodates that. My first time using rover, I was a bit worried leaving a stranger in my house. But she set my mind at ease and I would definitely use her again I was impressed. I tried to keep instructions basic and she exceeded my expectations, I feel like my rabbit was very well cared for. I will definitely refer Gabriella to anyone that needs a sitter”

“We have a multiple cat household & Kianna took excellent care of our furbabies when we went on vacation. She is kind & caring with animals - exactly the type of person you want looking after your pets. Kianna also cleaned up all the messes our cats made & washed their dishes & refilled their bowls so when we returned we didn't have any immediate "chores". It was like having a few extra hours of vacation. Thank you, Kianna!!!!! We appreciate you very much. ?”

About: Comfortable working with a variety of animals, and their individual personalities and needs. I’ve been around animals my whole life, including dogs, cats, bunnies, and reptiles. Worked with dogs in the military, and personally had a special needs working line German Shepherd. Have gone through puppy training, advanced obedience, and health condition management. I work a remote part time job (all from laptop) that does not have a restricted time required. Pet Sitting is the priority on the days it is scheduled, and can be available for short or extended periods (days, 24/7). As I watch overnight/day or pop in, my goal is to make your pet feel truly at home, and put you at ease while away. Whatever structure or routine you outline your pet is used to, that’s what I will follow. I am also okay to care for small house needs while sitting (ie. watering plants). My car is available if short trips to a park are needed.
About: I've had pets all my life and can't imagine my world without cats and dogs! Play time and walks with my dog are the best time of day! I'd love to help out with walks or drop-ins to make sure your fur baby feels the love ❤️. During the school year, I'm available some evenings and most weekends. In the summer, my schedule opens up a lot! I'm available most days June-August. I visit client's homes and can do a play session, feed, water, fetch, extra pets, etc. I can also do walks - 30 or 60 minutes!

About: I’ve been lucky enough to spend many years of my life living with cats. I’ve come to learn no two cats are the same, every cat has their own unique personality and needs. Over the years, I’ve cared for kittens, senior cats, and cats with certain medical, dietary, and behavioral needs while pet sitting for family, friends, coworkers, and employers. I’ve also volunteered with shelter cats, helping socialize them through play and companionship. My husband and I share our home with two beloved cats: a tabby named June and a calico named Appa. There personalities and needs could not be more different, especially when we are gone and there is a pet sitter in our place. I am familiar with the stress of trusting someone to care for your cats in your absence, and to address the unique needs of each cat. I provide patient, attentive care while respecting each cat’s individual personality, routines, boundaries and comfort level. My goal is to care for your cat the way I would want my own cats cared for—with genuine affection and attention to detail. I also do my best to ensure there are no pet messes left behind for pet parents to clean up.
About: I’ve taken care of childhood dogs since I was 12. I have been responsible for feeding, walking, and playing with all sorts of animals growing up. I would be able to care for pets during the weekends and after 430pm weekdays. It is a great way not only to bond with animals but also get my daily exercise in. In a clients home, I would be able to feed the dog, play with it, and take it on walks like it was my own animal. For walking, I would make sure they enjoyed themselves, and add some play time in as well to make it more rewarding for the animal.
About: Alright the time has finally come!! 🐾 We have decided on a house and we will be moving hopefully by June or July (exact date TBD). I wanted to give you all a heads up since I've been trying to give you plenty of notice. Should I see your pup again before our move, I will be bringing them over to our new lot to explore so they can get familiar with the scents and sights. I'll be doing this with Luigi too! We will only be moving exactly four minutes away (kinda crazy I know haha) so we'll easily be able to help all visiting pups prepare as well. It doesn't seem like a big difference to us humans, but this is a GINORMOUS change for our fur babies! Also wanted to remind everyone that after my birthday in October, we will be heading down to Florida for the winter! More on scheduling for that as it gets closer. Lastly, I want to give some transparency for you paw parents on my expectations going forward. I know you're used to seeing LOTS AND LOTS of updates all throughout the day. Before I explain the change, I want to explain the reason for it, because you actually want this too. We've all heard the phrase ‘you can't fill anyone else's cup if yours is empty' and 'there's only so much time in one day.' All the pups (including Luigi) are always my top priority. With all these changes happening, plus my Canine Behavior Consultant class load getting a bit heavier, these things drain my battery and brain power. If I'm not taking care of myself, I cannot show up as my best self for the pups and they deserve THE BEST parts of me! This may or may not come as a surprise, but I'm actually quite introverted, so I recharge my energy in quiet moments. Honestly it's a big reason I love the pups so much body language and energy speaks louder than words in the doggy world. So what's changing? I will be taking more quiet days, and I'll take them as my body and brain tell me I need them. But no matter what, whether I'm sending updates with words or not, you will still receive pictures EVERY DAY. This part is NOT changing!! Thank you all for trusting me with your pups!! I'm so excited for this next chapter and will keep you posted as things come together! ❤️ BEFORE YOU BOOK PLEASE READ THIS ❤️ For stays longer than four days and for holidays the rate is higher and I want to explain why. This is not a nine to five job. It is a twenty four seven commitment. Most visiting dogs cannot be left alone at all, and because of that I miss a lot. I skip family events. I rearrange appointments. I lose sleep when dogs are anxious or cannot settle their first night. I stay up if someone is vomiting from nerves. I cancel plans when a dog needs more support than expected. I spend weekends inside when other people are out living life because a pup needs constant supervision. I put your dogs above everything else in my personal life, including my own family at times. I only take one family pack at a time. Your dogs get my full focus and a safe space without the chaos that comes from mixing multiple families. I take them on real hikes, give them real enrichment, and use high quality human grade treats because visiting dogs need both movement and mental work to settle in a new place. I even go as far as renting out private land for dogs who are leash reactive or for pups who need a huge fenced in area with tons of acres to burn off anxiety and energy in a safe way. I share the smiling pictures and the fun adventures, but there is a lot that happens behind the scenes to make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and stable. This level of care takes real time, real sacrifice, and real dedication, and that is why I am firm in my pricing. I’ve been around dogs my entire life, and honestly… they’ve shaped a huge part of who I am. I live with my Italian Greyhound pretty much 24/7 (he has separation anxiety and I wouldn’t have it any other way), so I’m very used to the “velcro dog” lifestyle. Because of him, I’m super tuned into the little things.. their routines, their quirks, their sensitivities, and all the ways they try to communicate. I also grew up with Dobermans, so I’m no stranger to big, smart, emotional dogs who need confidence, structure, and someone who actually pays attention. That upbringing taught me patience, consistency, and to always advocate for the dog in front of me. I’ve had all sorts of animals in my life..even my two skinny pigs who recently crossed the rainbow bridge. They were tiny, but trust me, they had huge personalities and fit right in with visiting pups. Between my own dogs, my extended family’s dogs, and the endless stream of personalities I meet through boarding, I’ve gotten really comfortable reading different temperaments. Cuddly lap dogs, anxious shadow followers, high energy explorers, the “I’m independent but also please never leave me” types. I love them all and adjust to whatever they need. I’ve also worked with dogs who aren’t always easy around others. I take things slow, keep everyone safe, and create an environment where every dog can relax and feel secure. Safety and understanding always come first. At the end of the day, every dog who stays with me becomes part of my little crew. I’m not a kennel! They live life with me. Walks, snuggles, routines, the whole thing. Your pup will be cared for exactly how I care for my own: with intention, patience, and a lot of love. ❤️ Dog boarding is my full time thing now. No side jobs and no juggling. This is truly what I do every day. The dogs are part of everything I am doing, whether I am folding laundry, watering plants, or working out in the yard. When the weather is warm we are outside a ton getting fresh air, exploring, and just living life together. A few times a year I take short breaks to focus on my own dog Luigi, and to reset my mental health. It keeps our home running smoothly and makes sure every dog who stays with us gets a calm, consistent, happy environment. When I am at my best, your pups get the best. I know what it feels like to hand your dog to someone else and hope they truly understand them. That is why I take safety so seriously. Quality always comes before quantity in my home. I am very selective about how many dogs I accept at one time, and most of the time your dog or dogs will be the only ones staying with us. On rare occasions, this may include a dog who has already stayed with me multiple times and has an emergency come up. In those situations, all pet parents involved are notified and asked for permission before anything is confirmed. I have a fenced in yard and I am always outside with the dogs. When we drive they are buckled into a harness every single time. I carry first aid in my car and in my hiking backpack because being prepared matters. I use Apple AirTags when we leave the house so I always know where your pup is. If your dog is leash reactive or nervous I plan ahead. I research quiet trails, low traffic times, and when needed I rent private land so it is only us and there are no surprises. I want you to feel completely at ease knowing your dog is safe, understood, and protected. Trust is earned, and I show it through every decision I make.
“I can't say enough about Denise !! She treated our dog like it was her own. Eyedrops were required and she didn't hesitate (we have a Rottweiler) I don't want any other pet sitter! SHE'S THE ONE!!”

“I have been bringing my dogs to Angelita weekly for about a year now and I cannot overstate how wonderful she is. She is responsive, flexible in scheduling, and takes such great care of the dogs. She documents their entire day and always sends them home with treats. She even bought them Christmas gifts this year. I truly cant say enough good things.”
“Amy & Patrick are such kind and considerate sitters. Dusty is high-energy as well as picky when it comes to people she likes. It's obvious she loves spending time with them from her excitement when I drop her off. Amy taught Dusty to "drop it" which even her professional trainer and I couldn't manage. I have complete trust and peace of mind leaving my pup with them.”

“Ashley is so sweet and my dog Piggy loves her! I have had a hard time finding sitters I can trust and Ashley has been great! She sends many updates which I love receiving and I know Piggy is in great hands when she’s with her. She even sent her home with a gift!”

“Laken is extremely flexible and very accommodating and has been extremely welcoming of my my alternatively active and needy/loving rescue pup, Maddie for daycare once a week. Most recently, she has had to board her on short notice while I have been hospitalized…no small feat as Maddie does not warm up easily to strangers and can be mouthy at times. I am eternally thankful for Laken and her family for their help!!”

“My shy, cat-like dog, Luna, spent four (doggie day care) days with Gwendoline. Luna took to Gwen and her home on the first day. Gwen's amazing. She's very empathetic and gave Luna the distance and respect needed until Luna warmed up. Gwen's property is top notch. A true haven on a hot summer day. All around a very positive experience. I highly recommend Gwendoline.”

“My little boy loved daycare at Heather and Spencer's. He romped with her poodles, took a nice snooze, and had kisses galore for Heather. Already booked our next play date.”

“My pup Samson and I did a meet and greet with Krista a few weeks ago and decide we liked her. He had his first daycare session with her last week and loved it so much he didn’t want to leave. What more could a dog mom ask for?”

“She was awesome with our puppy he was so happy at his stay once I’m around this area again I would definitely have her sitting for my little chele. Thank you so much I am truly grateful for your care.”

“My dog Ireland warmed up to Kellyann when I dropped her off today. Ireland.has never been in a home setting before for daycare. Kellyann kept me informed throughout the day with updates and pics of Ireland. This really helped me to feel secure about my "baby girl" staying there.I would highly recommend contacting Kellyann to take care of your pet!!”

“Patience was great with my two puppies! I appreciate how responsive she is and that she provides a report of her time walking the puppies with pictures every time. Knowing that Patience was caring for my babies while I was away helped set my mind at ease!”

About: For the past 18 years, I’ve been a trusted pet sitter and dog walker for family, friends, coworkers, and employers. Today, my husband and I share our home with two cats and an axolotl. Over the years, I’ve gained experience caring for animals of all ages and needs, including puppies and kittens, senior pets, animals recovering from illness, and those with special physical, emotional, or dietary requirements. Much of this experience comes from caring for my own pets as well as the pets of others. If I am not confident that I can meet your pets needs based on your request I will let you know promptly so you can reach out to another pet sitter who can provide the care your pet needs. I believe animals enrich our lives with unconditional love, companionship, and joy. When they’re in my care, I strive to provide that same level of love, attention, patience, and respect in return. Pet care fits easily into my current daily routine, and I have a flexible schedule with plenty of availability to dedicate time and attention to the pets in my care. I am able to accommodate a variety of schedules and routines and can plan my day around the needs of each pet. This flexibility allows me to provide attentive, reliable care rather than trying to fit pet care around a busy work schedule. When I first meet a pet, I like to let them approach me at their own pace and take time to build trust. I understand that being separated from their people and meeting someone new can be stressful, so I focus on maintaining their familiar routines and creating a safe, comfortable environment. I take the time to learn each pet’s unique personality, needs, routines, and favorite activities so I can provide care that helps them feel secure and happy while their family is away. I also remain attentive to potential hazards and take steps to keep pets safe in their home. I am careful to follow owners instructions for pet care and rules of the home to make sure everyone is safe. Every animal is different, and I enjoy getting to know what makes each one feel most comfortable and content. For a pets comfort, I do my best keep their routine and environment as consistent as consistent as possible in the absence of their owners.
“Billie is lovely and fantastic with our pup. She is super to work with and we look forward to having her help out whenever one or both of us are traveling!”

I want your pet to feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away. I treat every animal like they’re my own, and I take that responsibility seriously. You can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. My schedule is typically low-key on weekends, which allows us to be flexible and available for pet care. As a teacher, I also have increased availability during the summer months, making it easier to provide consistent and reliable care when you need it most. Pets are truly members of our family, and I treat them as such. I will care for your pet the same way, with love, attention, and respect. W I understand how much your pets mean to you, and our goal is to provide the best possible care while you are away.
About: I’ve taken care of every kind of dog since I was ten. As an adult I have owned 3 dogs. My current pup is a goldendoodle named Baxter. Baxter is a spoiled boy and gets 2 walks a day and lots of attention throughout the day. Prior to Baxter I had a golden retriever named Cody and prior to Cody I had a golden retriever named Midas. All of my dogs have been to obedience training. I know all of the commands and am happy to practice those command with your pup. I live in a small subdivision and I am the go to dog sitter for all of my neighbors. I would love the opportunity to take care of your fur baby. I’m currently working part time (3 days per week-6 hours per day) so I will have plenty of time to devote to your pup. My job also has a flexible schedule. I do not have a fenced in yard but I’m happy to take your pup for a few walks a day. I live in a quiet neighborhood in West Hempfield Township.
About: What sets me apart is my professional animal-handling experience and my ability to work confidently with pets of all sizes, personalities, and needs. I spent two years working as an equine veterinary assistant, where I gained hands-on experience monitoring animal health, safely handling and restraining animals, recognizing signs of illness or discomfort, and working in fast-paced situations. I also have extensive experience caring for and training my own dogs, including large breeds. I understand that every pet is unique, and I tailor my approach to fit their individual personality and comfort level. Whether your pet is a playful puppy learning good habits, a senior pet needing extra patience and care, or a dog that is nervous around new people, I focus on creating a safe, positive, and stress-free experience. I am comfortable with administering medications, reinforcing basic training and good manners during walks and visits, and providing detailed updates so owners can feel confident their pets are in good hands. I have a lot of time on the weekends to walk dogs but I also have some time in the mornings for a dog or two monday-thursday In your home, I follow your pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and safe. I keep up with feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, medication instructions, and lots of love. I always pay attention to their body language and make sure they’re happy, relaxed, and well-cared for while you’re away.

About: Hours of availability on the weekends, Friday 5pm-Sun 9pm. Possibly before 5 on fridays depending on location. I Love dogs, and have had 3 jack Russell terriers and 2 German short haired pointers and now 2 Labrador retrievers. I want to make it easy for pet owners to do things and not have to worry about their pet. I have also been in charge of the grooming(nails, bathing etc) since I was young. I feel I can tell how/what dogs want, they call me the dog whisperer. Just want all dogs/animals to love me :) We now adopted 3 kittens in the last 6 years since they always find us. Let me care for your dog/cat while you enjoy yourself. I have had other animals, not just dogs, as I care for animals in general(fish, guinea pigs, gerbils, rabbits, birds, cats). I have always been the dependable Neighbor and was always asked to watch the neighbors animals while they were away. I know how hard it is to find a caring person to watch your pet, instead of a kennel. I also have had to give my first dog insulin shots 2xs a day, also have given her medicine daily. Also give medicine/supplements to my current pets. Let me be that person.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats and have been caring for animals since I can remember. I watched many different breeds of dogs while in college. I’m available weekdays for walks, and weekends for dog/puppy sitting. I love all animals and have cared for many different breeds of dogs. I’m flexible so let me know what your pet needs. I have lot of experience with pets and walking dogs. I have no pets that I live with so any dog is welcome. Just let me know what your dog needs.
About: Hello! My name is Danielle Martin. I have a master's degree in School Psychology from Millersville University and I work at a local school district. In my spare time, I enjoy being outside, cooking, and of course, spending time with all the doggos! I currently have a 6-year-old Bernese Mountain Mix, named Ryker, who I adopted in May 2020. Best quarantine decision ever! Previously, I have owned two Great Danes, so I have experience with large breeds. As a dog sitter, I aim to spend as much time with your dogs as possible, so that their time spent away from you is a pleasant one. If the dogs are up for it, I love taking them on walks and hikes, playing with their favorite toy together, and of course, snuggling and relaxing together. Since starting with Rover, I have met so many amazing pups of all ages and sizes. I also have experience with cats, small pets, birds, and reptiles! I look forward to meeting your furry friend! I am currently not working for the summer (one of the perks of being in public education!), which allows me to have a very flexible schedule. I can easily incorporate pet care into my daily routine and adjust my availability to meet your pet’s needs for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, and companionship. I am not providing in-home sitting at this time. When at a clients home, I am respectful of the property and aim to leave the home in the same (or better) condition as when I arrived.

About: I've taken care of dogs for over a decade from high energy (I have a border collie) to low energy (I also have a shih tzu), elderly, and everything in between. I'd love to make your dog's day by taking them on a walk or giving them an incredible play time. Same goes for your cats! Whether your pets love activity or simply want someone to watch them sniff in the backyard or hang on the couch, I'd love to bring a highlight to their day. Right now, Friday nights through Sunday are the times I have completely free to dedicate to helping take care of your pets. I'm hoping to add more times soon and options to board. As someone who searches for hours to find the right person to watch my pets, I know how hard it can be to trust someone new to take care of your fur family. Whether it's pictures, reassuring texts, following your instructions exactly, or all 3 I will do my best to make your pets as happy and healthy as possible. I offer drop in visits and walks, so please let me know what you are and aren't comfortable with and I will make sure they are well cared for while giving you as many updates as you'd like!
