My partner Luca is also part of our Rover profile and shares this same passion for animal care. We have multiple pets together and work as a team to provide attentive, reliable care. Luca previously worked at the same clinic I’m at as a receptionist and veterinary assistant, and now works in a science lab where he also helps care for lab animals. His experience makes him calm, capable, and very comfortable handling a wide range of animals. What sets us apart is that we combine professional veterinary experience with genuine, everyday love for animals. Between the two of us, your pets will always have attentive, knowledgeable, and compassionate care. We currently have cats, ferrets, mice and 1 bearded dragon of our own, and we hold ourselves to the same high standard of care that we would want for them. Pet care fits naturally into our weekly routine because animals have always been a huge part of our lives. I work full-time, but I schedule my Rover services around my work hours so that every visit gets my full attention. I’m typically available before or after work for drop-ins, walks, and evening check-ins, and I always communicate clearly about my availability. My partner Luca helps provide additional flexibility. He is a full-time student and works part-time in a lab, with a schedule that tends to stay consistent for longer periods. Because our schedules often complement each other, one of us is usually available when the other is not. This allows us to offer more consistent and reliable care throughout the day. Even with busy schedules, caring for animals is something we both genuinely enjoy and make time for, and we never take on more than we can fully commit to. We primarily care for pets in our clients’ homes, where they feel safest and most comfortable. As a veterinary technician, safety is always my first priority. We follow your pet’s normal routines closely, including feeding, medications, walks, and playtime, while also keeping an eye out for any early signs of stress or illness. We’re respectful of your home, trustworthy with your space, and committed to creating a calm, clean environment for your pets while you’re away. We provide regular updates, photos, and honest communication so you always know how your pet is doing.

“Emmanuel is absolutely amazing guys, please listen: I had a Labor Day vacation booked and the Wednesday before we were leaving (we left Friday afternoon) our sitter cancelled. We have an almost 5 month old Dane and a 4 year old husky, both purebred and the handfuls that they sound like. Emmanuel cared for them, sent us pictures of the new friends they’d make, them eating, using the bathroom or even getting exercise. Penny was very thorough and sincere in wanting to get to know everything she can about our boy. She took plenty of notes and communicated throughout his stay with plenty and pictures videos and texts. She made a report card of his stay with them (which is already the refrigerator) and placed it in a giftbag full of treats for him. Such a blessing to find people who truly care and love your fur baby just as much as we do! We could tell that he blended in perfectly with their routine and felt completely comfortable right away.
