We chose the boarding option, and Nimer had the best time at Joan's house, sleeping on her bed, playing in the cat tunnels, and climbing the cat trees. He also got along so well with her ferrets! Her house is free of any harmful products and is a safe space for just about any pet. Nimer will definitely be coming back when we go on our next trip. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve lived with at least one cat my entire life. Having experienced deep bonds with these fascinating creatures, I know how hard it is to leave them. It’s impossible to enjoy a vacation unless I know that when I’m gone, my furry companions are looked after and cared for. I’ve worked in animal shelters, watched pets for family, friends and neighbors, and rescued kitties from the streets. I have cared for older kitties who need extra care, anxious cats who do NOT like strangers, and bottle-fed kittens, so special needs clients are no problem. I’m also a bit of a neat freak so litter box maintenance is a priority for me… and, of course, if your cats just need some company for a little while, hanging out with them would be a pleasure.

About: 10 years ago now I convinced family to adopt two orange brother kittens we named Willy and Wonka. It was through them that I discovered my love and passion for cats. Through caring for them I was prepared when we took in two more cats; and now can truly not imagine my life without cats in it. In my single years, I cared for a beloved Jack Russel terrier from when she was an energetic pup until nearly 17. Currently, I live with my husband Seth and our two daughters, ages 11 and 13. Your dog may enjoy cooling off in the creek that runs through the property. We live near Delaware canal towpath and Nockamixon state park. About: Life long animal lover I've taken care of many different kinds of pets! I had a frog growing up, fish, cats, dogs, and I've helped pet sit numerous times for a friend for his goats, chickens, turtle, geese, turkeys, ducks, fish, pigs, and dogs (puppies, adult dogs and a senior dog with medications who needed extra tlc). I also work here and there at a local horse farm feeding and cleaning stalls as well as turning 45+ horses out to pasture. I'm used to handling strong pulling animals (I like to think being able to handle an antsy 1200+ lb animal prepares me for most anything haha), and my own strong pulling dog so I'm well versed to handling eager dogs on walks. I've been able to administer medications to senior dogs, my own dog needed 5 different medicines for a few weeks during heartworm treatment and my cat currently is transitioning to a prescription urinary diet so I know a few tricks to getting medicine to them as well as doling out special meals. I'm currently working 3-4 days during the week at my main job as a Dental Assistant, as well as working a few hours every Sunday AM at a yoga studio. I am also a part time college student studying Dental Hygiene as well as on my way to becoming an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. Currently that looks like Monday/Wednesday AM I am in class from 9am-11am, Friday from 12pm-5pm and Saturday from 9am-4pm I am at my other class (which ends the first week of September 2026). I will try to update this as often as needed. I marked Fridays off for now but I can be flexible with scheduling around work and school as much as I can. I typically work Monday/Tuesday/Thursday at my main job but the hours vary as early as 7am to as late as 8pm. Sometimes I will get scheduled Wednesday when needed but it's not often. Any questions on availability or time feel free to message me! If you are flexible with schedules it helps out alot too! I also have my own pets at home which is why I currently don't offer overnights as he has separation anxiety if I'm not home at night. I will follow your every instruction and request for taking care of your pet in your home, I can crate you dog and handle letting them out, making sure they don't get off leash or out of your fenced in yard and make sure your cat doesn't slip out the doorway when I come in. I have some sneaky pets myself sometimes and I feel I've become a master at outsmarting even the sneakiest pet. I'll make sure your pets have plenty of fresh water, the right amount of food, nothing is left out for them to get into or chew up, and cleaned litterboxes! I believe in treating your pet like my own and providing the utmost care and respect for both them and your home.

“Joan was a great sitter for our baby, Nimer. I loved receiving daily updates on how he was doing as well as pictures and videos. We chose the boarding option, and Nimer had the best time at Joan's house, sleeping on her bed, playing in the cat tunnels, and climbing the cat trees. He also got along so well with her ferrets! Her house is free of any harmful products and is a safe space for just about any pet. Nimer will definitely be coming back when we go on our next trip. Highly recommend!”
“Brittni's home was the absolute perfect place our dog Rolo could have gone for the week! I was so worried because she is an older dog who is set in her ways, but Brittni and family took her in as a part of their family and we are so grateful! I genuinely think it was a vacation for Rolo as well with all of the walks around their beautiful property paired with being spoiled in their home as well! Brittni's kindness and gentle nature was immediately obvious with our dog, who seemed to warm up to her right away. Communication was excellent and everything went smoothly. “Rebecca and her husband were fantastic! I have a 7r old female Labrador retriever that is quite anxious and easily panicked. I had her shipped up to Pennsylvania from Texas when i had to move and i needed a place for her to stay while I was out of town. From the moment I booked with them, they were in constant contact and reassurance of her well-being. She stayed with them for about a weeks worth of boarding. I had constant updates through photos and videos multiple times daily. They were both so kind and live in a great neighborhood. They did everything they could to accommodate her to the best of their ability, even went as far as giving her chicken when she wouldn’t eat her food! These folks are a gem in the dog boarding community, and you would be lucky to book with them! They really love and care for animals and treat your pet as if it were their own! I will be using them again anytime I need a sitter for my dog Maddie!”
“Sara was great with our 2 dogs! She was very responsive and sent pictures throughout the visit. My favorite was a pic of our old boy with a horse named Ketchup-it was amazing! Be prepared for tired, dirty pups after their fantastic stay. Will be booking again :)”

“Carole was super accommodating for our last minute request to board my golden retriever puppy. She kept us updated with regular messages, pictures and video. She took great care of him. He got a lot of exercise and running around the fenced backyard while playing with her dog, Venus. After we picked him up, he slept straight through the day. My pup would definitely want to come back for fun filled stays with Venus. I highly recommend Carole to pet parents out there.”
