My husband and I wanted to go away for Valentine's day weekend to get some alone time and we have never been away from our Sheldon, who is a clumsy, gentle giant and lovable doberman pinscher puppy (1yr and 2months and 80lbs lol). My husband was thinking of boarding him at a kennel and I could not stand the thought of him being locked up in a cold pen like a wild caged animal. Honest to goodness (Rover did not pay me) I told my husband about this commercial I saw about people who offer dog services- Rover.com. My husband was skeptical and well, I thought it would be better than a cold pen, where he would pee and poop in his area and let out for so long per day. The site was easy to use and i knew what type of person i was looking for. I wanted my baby to be in a home where he would be loved as their own, warm, and in constant contact with humans (if you dont know anything about Dobermans, they are called velcro dogs because they are attached at your hip and have to be where ever you go). I looked and read Marie's profile and I just knew she was the ONE! Her family was awesome, they loved Sheldon and she gave us frequent updates of their adventures, runs, and how he he'd wind down at night and even included lots of pictures! We could tell he was having the time of his life! Marie and her family put our minds at ease knowing we left him in good hands. We could not be more grateful to have found them. Sheldon came home with a second family. We highly, HIGHLY recommend them! If they are in your area, she is the highest qualified dog sitter and we will be using her again in the future for Sheldon.”

“We were desperate last minute for someone to watch our dog on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We reached out to Lydianis and her husband Alex on Rover. They were very quick to respond and continued with good communication throughout the entire time they had my dog. They took the time, at a very busy time of year, to meet us on the Sunday before at a local park and introduced their beautiful Lab Chase to us. About: I've had my first cat since I was 14. He is my actual child and his name is Nugget. Nugget is a little crazy and vindictive but I love him. I also have a loving tuxedo cat named Marbles who is my little lover boy. I have a barn cat that is named Thomas who comes when you call his name. We also have partial custody of a feral cat named Salem that we are trying to trap and neuter. I haven't been able to pet him but Ive gotten pretty close!

About: I started back in 2010 with an adopted Cat who made such an amazing first “pet” that became family! After meeting my now husband, we adopted 2 beagle brothers who were 1.5 years old! Unfortunately one became very sick but we still have his brother who will be 12 this November! He loves car rides, treats, and walks around our neighborhood! About: I have had various dogs since I was a child including dachshunds, jack russels, and chihuahuas. I’ve always helped around the house and with the animals. (We’ve even had goats, chickens, goats, and a pig! So I know how to handle different dynamics.) I have trained and taken care of my own dachshund puppy over the past two years. I’ve taught him tricks, crate trained him, and navigated how to walk on a leash properly. As an early grad I am working to build my schedule with work. About: My family has had a dog my entire life, but I got MY first dog when I was 12 years old. He was my best friend and his name was Tucker. He was an Australian Shepherd and we spent most of our time together. I taught him how to sit and shake his paw...we even mastered a high five. Tucker and I went through life together. He was my copilot, my swimming buddy, my listening ear and the best pillow to lay my head on. In his late years, Tucker's vision and hearing were mostly gone, but he could always find me with his nose! Near the end of his life Tucker lost the connections from his brain to his back legs. I had to carry him outside to use the bathroom and that was when I knew it was time to let him go. Tucker passed away in my arms in October of 2021. My life was forever changed by my furry best friend. He was lucky to have a furry friend for the last 5 months of his life. We adopted an American Staffordshire Terrier in July of 2021 and he has brought so much joy to our home and has helped my kids with the passing of Tucker. Rumble is our puppy and I have house trained him and he is very good with kids and other dogs. I am currently working from home so it gives me a lot of flexibility to let your pups out to play and to make sure they have a lot of free time throughout the day. My lap is always free for any pup that needs a seat and some back scratches! I have a very friendly dog that would love to have play time with your dog, but I also have a crate for my dog should they need some time apart. I have a large back yard and I have 30' leads for the dogs to run around on. I am willing to give treats if you wish and your pup is welcome to bring their favorite toys and a blanket from home to smell for comfort.

Pet care is a natural and consistent part of my daily and weekly routine. I plan my schedule around feeding times, hikes, play, and individualized attention to ensure each pet’s needs are met. With a flexible work schedule, I am able to provide in-home care 3 days a week uninterrupted and with a local home location, am able to check in on days in the office as well. Whether it’s daily check-ins, walks, or extended stays, I make sure every pet receives reliable, compassionate care as part of my regular routine—not as an afterthought. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible, whether in my home or in my client’s home, to help them feel comfortable and secure. I provide regular feeding, fresh water, walks or exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. I closely monitor behavior, appetite, and overall health, and I keep pet parents updated with photos and messages. My home is equipped with 2 outdoor security cameras as well as a fully fenced in yard. In a client’s home, I respect the space while ensuring pets receive consistent care, enrichment, and companionship. In my home, pets are given a calm, safe environment with supervision, structured routines, and positive reinforcement. With my veterinary technician experience and animal care and dog training certifications, I’m able to administer medications, support training, care for puppies, and provide gentle, attentive care for senior pets. My goal is always to keep pets happy, safe, and stress-free while their owners are away.

About: I have taken care of other friends dogs including senior dogs. I currently own a two year old black lab mix named Atlas. I love walking dogs and would love the opportunity to meet yours! During the school year, I am currently available 8:30-5 most days during the week. Boarding is also available in the evenings and on the weekends. Although I do not have a fenced in yard, there is plenty of space to walk in my neighborhood. I also have one dog who is friendly with other dogs. I am comfortable crating dogs when needed.

About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. Im currently working a part-time job, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pets! Im available on the weekdays and the weekends! I’m semi retired, live with and care for my aging parent. I have an extremely flexible schedule. Have cared for other pets full time, part time and just daily walks for those who can’t any longer. I will care for your dog and home as though they were my own. Lived full time in a client’s house for a year caring for a sick dog while owner was in rehab. “We were desperate last minute for someone to watch our dog on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We reached out to Lydianis and her husband Alex on Rover.
