Rocky is a pit bull and not too many people are comfortable with them because they do have a bad wrap. I was super excited to know that she was available the week of my trip! About: I have had friends with cats my entire life and have helped take care of them. I used to consider myself a dog person but now I know that I love dogs and cats equally! Cats are independent and have their own boundaries, which I greatly respect. I know some people don't like cats for that reason. Kaia can be pretty wary of new people, so I was a little nervous at first, but she warmed up to Bruna so quickly, even though they had only met once before at the meet and greet. About: My entire life I have had a passion for all animals. Growing up I always had dogs. They were mainly large gentle giants. Great Dane, mastiff, newfoundland, boxer, English bulldog, shitzu, Maltese. Each and every one had their own beautiful personality and I clung to every single one. About: I’ve been around dogs and animals in general since a young age, with my grandpa running a small farm. I’ve grown up around breeds like German Shepherds, and have always taken care of friends’ dogs while they were in vacation. I have a home situated on a quiet, secluded private lot that backs up onto a river with several trails within a short walking distance. The yard is secluded, well shaded and has ample space. I take care to be active with the dogs, so I usually toss frisbees or play fetch several times a day to keep them content. I walk my dogs twice around the neighborhood. Besides home, I have a number of dog-friendly trails and parks both in East Stroudsburg and nearby where I bring the dogs for some quality time outside. This includes hiking on trails and in the mountains, bringing the dogs to rivers or lakes, I mix it up each week depending on the weather conditions. Any time I go on an outdoor adventure, I make sure I have the owner’s consent. Their dogs will always be hydrated and have a snack. I only ask that if your dog has specific dietary needs or is taking medication, that you provide me with the necessary information and schedule. About: I’m sorry to say that my partner Rochelle has left the business to continue her education. I would like to introduce myself. My name is Vanessa Gibson. I am Rochelle’s mother and we worked with dogs for over 9 years. I am currently a stay home mom who is willing to babysit some dogs or cats to occupy her time. We have four cats and two dogs. We love all types of animals. We used to babysit a doctors' dog while she was away working or on vacation. We are always willing to learn new things. We are pretty flexible with our time. My fianceé is home during the afternoon (and will be after COVID) and nights. His work schedule is mornings, off M-W. This makes us uniquely flexible to meet your needs. Our house is a one-story. So you do not need to worry about stairs. We live in a wooded community away from heavy traffic. We have dog runners, which allow the dog to roam outside at his or her own pace while supervised. We live near a dog park that is well-maintained and has separated fences for small or large size dogs. We have a puppy called Dudley and an adult dog named Duke at home that are very friendly and well socilaized. Dudley's favorite game is tug of war. Duke loves to run, meet dog buddies, and eat his bones.
