My husband and I wanted to go away for Valentine's day weekend to get some alone time and we have never been away from our Sheldon, who is a clumsy, gentle giant and lovable doberman pinscher puppy (1yr and 2months and 80lbs lol). My husband was thinking of boarding him at a kennel and I could not stand the thought of him being locked up in a cold pen like a wild caged animal. Honest to goodness (Rover did not pay me) I told my husband about this commercial I saw about people who offer dog services- Rover.com. My husband was skeptical and well, I thought it would be better than a cold pen, where he would pee and poop in his area and let out for so long per day. The site was easy to use and i knew what type of person i was looking for. I wanted my baby to be in a home where he would be loved as their own, warm, and in constant contact with humans (if you dont know anything about Dobermans, they are called velcro dogs because they are attached at your hip and have to be where ever you go). I looked and read Marie's profile and I just knew she was the ONE! Her family was awesome, they loved Sheldon and she gave us frequent updates of their adventures, runs, and how he he'd wind down at night and even included lots of pictures! We could tell he was having the time of his life! Marie and her family put our minds at ease knowing we left him in good hands. We could not be more grateful to have found them. Sheldon came home with a second family. We highly, HIGHLY recommend them! If they are in your area, she is the highest qualified dog sitter and we will be using her again in the future for Sheldon.”

“Jess was incredibly caring with my four cats while we were away in Greece for two weeks. My senior cat requires daily medication and extra monitoring due to his diabetes, and Jess did a fantastic job making sure he was eating well, taking his medication, and using the litter box normally. She also made sure my three one-year-old babies were well cared for and gave them plenty of extra playtime to help burn off all that kitten energy. Jess was excellent with communication and sent daily updates and photos of the babies. I was able to fully relax and enjoy my vacation knowing they were in such good hands. It’s also clear that Jess truly loves animals. She cared not only for our cats, but also for the neighborhood stray cats, and even adopted one of the sweet strays and gave him a loving home. Jess left a wonderful gift bag for the cats, and we came home to happy, well-cared-for babies and a clean house. About: I have a deep love for cats and think they’re the cutest creatures. A stereotypical person might believe there low maintenance but in reality they need as much attention as any other domesticated pets. About: I started back in 2010 with an adopted Cat who made such an amazing first “pet” that became family! After meeting my now husband, we adopted 2 beagle brothers who were 1.5 years old! Unfortunately one became very sick but we still have his brother who will be 12 this November! He loves car rides, treats, and walks around our neighborhood! I am excited to care for any and all types of animals. I am a nurse so I am used to being dedicated and fast-learning when it comes to caring for loved ones. I work three 12 hour shifts per week, so my schedule is pretty flexible! I have four days each week open for caring for furry friends! I am free most weekend days. I will be friendly and patient with your animals! I will respect your home and follow your instructions. If I am ever unclear on anything, I will communicate and ask to ensure the safety and happiness of your pets!
About: I love animals so much that we have four pets of our own. Two pomsky dogs and two cats. I have experience in walking, bathing and picking up after dogs. I am comfortable giving oral medicine to pets. I really look forward to taking care of your furrbaby and will take care of your pet as if they were my own ❤️ I am currently working part time so I will have plenty of time to look after your pets! I am able to take your dogs on long walks/ play or look after your cats. Everyday I make sure our animals are well taken care of. They are given fresh water and food and taken out for bathroom breaks in between their walk. Our cats are greatly loved and shown affection.
About: I attended the Technical College High School Brandywine Campus. There I attended the Veterinary Science class for 4 years. I did job shadowing at a veterinary clinic for 8 hours which was such a great experience . I am comfortable with different breeds and sizes. I have the knowledge on certain breeds. My classroom had a program called Doggy Daycare where we made sure the dogs had their walks, bathroom breaks and playtime as well as have them properly fed while their parents were away. I know basic grooming techniques like for example: nail clipping, coat brushing, ear cleaning and teeth cleaning. I am also comfortable with administering vaccines and oral medication. I’m familiar with tick and flea medications. I am able to work with dogs that have special diets. My main job is to make sure your dog(s) are well taken care of and to let the owner know that they don’t have to worry about your dog(s) while being away from them. “Tim and his family took absolutely wonderful care of Togo! 🐶 Togo can be a bit of a trouble eater, but Tim and his family were incredibly patient and really went the extra mile to make sure he was comfortable and eating well. They tried different approaches and truly cared about making sure he was happy and settled. They made Togo feel completely at home, which gave us so much peace of mind. Communication was excellent throughout the entire stay — Tim regularly shared updates and pictures, which meant a lot to us. Our flight was unexpectedly delayed, and they were kind enough to accommodate Togo for a couple of extra hours at the last minute without any hesitation.
