About: I used to have a Shih-tzu named Eris who was a very sweet girl with lots of energy. I currently look after a French Bulldog from time to time who I absolutely love. I like working with small dogs/lap dogs but I can work with bigger dogs too. I work from home, and I have plenty of time to play with your dog or take them on walks. I spend most of my day ar my desk, and I would welcome the extra encouragement to go outside and take the dog for a walk. I live with two other family members who love dogs, so your dog will never go without attention. If your dog is small, then I will happily let them sit on my bed while I work, and I'll reach over to give them pets whenever they want. Larger dogs are welcome to lie in a dog bed by my desk, or downstairs on the couch with me.
About: I have had pets of my own for many years and understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for them. I'm currently a teacher, but will have the summer off which allows me to be more flexible and available for pet care throughout the day. I have also had and cared for many types of small animals including rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, gerbils, hamsters, birds as well as fish, turtles and hermit crabs! She is walked twice a day around our neighborhood. We try to spend as much time outside with her as possible. My cat is an indoor cat. About: I’ve had pets since I was 7, trained my first dog at 3 months to sit, paw, lay down, and use the doggy door. For about 5 years I had 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a bird who were all loved *nearly* equally. As they have got older, I have experience with senior dogs and cats as well as pups. I am a sophomore at DePaul University in Chicago and I volunteer at a local no-kill animal shelter/adoption center, PAWS Chicago, where I socialize and care for puppies and kittens. “Andrew and Jacklynn were fantastic sitters for our pup, Stella. We needed boarding very last minute and they were so accommodating to our needs and loving to Stella. Their pup Rocky is so sweet and gentle (my daughter loved petting him!) and was easygoing with Stella. I felt great going away for 4-5 days knowing she had pup friends and great humans caring for her. Definitely will choose them again and highly recommend!”
“Kathleen took care of Brody this week for the first time. He appears to have really enjoyed his stay and was definitely well cared for. Kathleen communicated with us at least once a day telling us how and what Brody was doing. She also sent wonderful photos of his stay, on walks, and relaxing in her home.
