About: Hello! My name is Skylar and I am a recent college grad who has been in Pittsburgh about 2 years. I have over 70 5-star ratings on Wag, which is a similar app to Rover. Back home in Ohio I have a sweet Mini Schnauzer who is 11 years old. He is blind and diabetic, so I have lots of experience taking care of older pups with medical needs. I also have a 7 year old Australian Shepard who has LOTS of energy and is always bouncing off the walls. She loves to play and herd her brother. Two new additions to the fam are 2 year old bernadoodles-lots of dog in the house! I miss my sweet pups, which is why I love to use Wag and Rover :) I absolutely adore any dog I come across and would love to get to know you and your doggo! I have a bit of an odd schedule where over the winter I work M-F completely remote and in the spring-fall I work Th-M half remote and half in person at North Park with Tuesday and Wednesday as my “weekends.” There is some variability to this schedule, but for the most part it is as described. I live with my boyfriend in a three level townhouse that has a large yard and is on a safe, quiet street. When fury friends visit us they are allowed on the furniture and we make sure to take them out on walks at least 4 times a day. Typically this looks like right when we wake up, during lunch, after dinner, and right before bed. When I stay at a pup’s house, I make sure to leave it cleaner than I found it!

She took the time to visit a few days before her check-ins for an in-person meet and greet with our kitties, which we really appreciated and found very reassuring. While we were out of town, she arrived exactly when she said she would and carried out everything as promised. She was kind, sweet, very responsive, and clearly cared about our kittens. They recently got spayed and neutered and had e-collars, and she was comfortable with the extra TLC they would need. About: Growing up, I always had pets around my home. From a docile miniature Dachshund to an excitable (perhaps… crazy?) German Shepherd, I have taken care of dogs of various sizes and personalities! I love both over-excitable pups and older dogs who need extra support and care. In the past, I have spent time volunteering with Mastiffs to Mutts Rescue to transport rescue dogs from their foster homes to their forever homes, so I have experience handling very large dogs! I currently have two gray tabbies (a bonded pair of sisters) and grew up with other feline friends. I understand the kind of care they need when their favorite humans are away, whether they are skittish or brave adventurers! I'm currently a music teacher in Washington County, so I am tend to only take clients over holidays and throughout the summer months. I am also available on most weekends with at least 2 days notice. I live in a small home with my own cats, so I am not available for pet-sitting in my own home. However, I have experience pet-sitting and house-sitting and take extra care when in someone’s home. We have a fenced in yard so your dog can get as much time outside as they like. We can only provide weekend care from Friday night until Monday morning. I enjoy being home so this works well for me and I enjoy helping. My dog gets lots of attention and affection. I actually cook his meals because he doesn’t do well with any store bought brands. My previous dog who has now crossed the rainbow bridge was reactive and dog-selective, so I am very experienced on keeping your dog safe while on walks and reading their body language. They will never be off-leash in an un-fenced area, and I will happily avoid any triggers that you make me aware of - just let me know!

About: I have been watching our neighbors and family friend’s dogs and doing drop-ins since I was little. My family has also had a dog since I was in highschool. I take him on walks every evening and am responsible for feeding and letting him out when my family is out of town. As well as my sisters dog when she stays with us. About: At this time, I am not house sitting. I like dog walking or drop ins. Thank you! I have always enjoyed dogs; playing and walking them especially in my neighborhood or at the park. When I was nine years old our first dog was Comet, a happy yellow lab and a bit of a barker. Then our family adopted a good little guy named Seamus. He was a mixed black lab puppy and he was very territorial which took some training and love to help him be less aggressive. I am not going to brag, but I know that I was Seamus' favorite because he never growled at me. We loved taking walks and rides. Unfortunatley, Seamus passed away from cancer in 2012. Next my parents found Noah from a beagle rescue. He is 100% beagle and 100% mischievious. He is a great guy, but he steals slippers even at the ripe old age of 10. He likes car rides. My husband and I adopted Mikey, a beagle mix and he is my buddy. He goes everywhere with us. He has been to Ohiopyle, playgrounds, family member's houses, and a Target Drive Up run. He is like my kid. I am definately his favorite! I have time in the evenings and on the weekends. I can be available with advanced notice in the daytime. Let me know how I can help. I give them love like you would, and I pet them. Even a massage can help their joints as older dogs have pain sometimes. I treat dogs like they are my family.

About: Hello! My name is Skylar and I am a recent college grad who has been in Pittsburgh about 2 years. I have over 70 5-star ratings on Wag, which is a similar app to Rover. Back home in Ohio I have a sweet Mini Schnauzer who is 11 years old. He is blind and diabetic, so I have lots of experience taking care of older pups with medical needs. I also have a 7 year old Australian Shepard who has LOTS of energy and is always bouncing off the walls. She loves to play and herd her brother. Two new additions to the fam are 2 year old bernadoodles-lots of dog in the house! I miss my sweet pups, which is why I love to use Wag and Rover :) I absolutely adore any dog I come across and would love to get to know you and your doggo! I have a bit of an odd schedule where over the winter I work M-F completely remote and in the spring-fall I work Th-M half remote and half in person at North Park with Tuesday and Wednesday as my “weekends.” There is some variability to this schedule, but for the most part it is as described. I live with my boyfriend in a three level townhouse that has a large yard and is on a safe, quiet street. When fury friends visit us they are allowed on the furniture and we make sure to take them out on walks at least 4 times a day. Typically this looks like right when we wake up, during lunch, after dinner, and right before bed. When I stay at a pup’s house, I make sure to leave it cleaner than I found it!

I work from home during the week, which allows me to give your pet plenty of attention, care and companionship throughout the day. After work, and during weekends are usually very flexible for me. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I do have a long leash so your pet can enjoy safe outdoor time, in addition to regular walks if you’d like. In my home, in addition to my husband, I have two Frenchies, one chocolate lab, and a cat (who mainly keeps to himself), as well as children who love animals and help provide plenty of companionship for your fur-baby.
