“We had a fantastic experience with Sara (AKA Rosie) while we were away for five days in South Carolina. She was incredibly reliable, completing every single scheduled drop-in (3 times per day) without missing a beat. What truly sets her apart is how much quality time she spends with the dogs—not just letting them out quickly, but actually sitting with them, playing, and giving them space to run and explore in our large yard. Our doorbell would notify us when she showed up at the house and she was always out in the yard with the dogs while they explored. She followed all care instructions, including administering their daily joint supplements, and kept me constantly updated with detailed reports and at least 10 photos per visit—which meant I was getting about 30 pictures a day of my dogs being happy, active, and well cared for. That level of visibility gave me so much peace of mind. She was also incredibly proactive: when one of my dogs ran off to a less visible part of the yard, she immediately notified me and took steps to make sure he was safe (he was probably sniffing groundhog holes and choosing not to listen because he loves the yard). I also appreciated her sharing a funny moment when my dogs calmly sniffed a wild bunny—they weren’t aggressive, just curious, and it was comforting to know she filled me in on notable happenings while I was away. I wouldn’t hesitate to trust her with our pets again—she’s professional, dependable, communicative, and clearly has a real love for animals. Highly recommend!”

About: Growing up, I always had pets around my home. From a docile miniature Dachshund to an excitable (perhaps… crazy?) German Shepherd, I have taken care of dogs of various sizes and personalities! I love both over-excitable pups and older dogs who need extra support and care. In the past, I have spent time volunteering with Mastiffs to Mutts Rescue to transport rescue dogs from their foster homes to their forever homes, so I have experience handling very large dogs! I currently have two gray tabbies (a bonded pair of sisters) and grew up with other feline friends. I trained my own dog to be a successful therapy dog, and we traveled to nursing homes and colleges so he could spread his joy with people who needed extra happiness. I also worked as a dog groomer and had my own business locally. Christina’s barn stays cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter, so it felt very cool for our dog in the hot days. Based on her previous experiences, she does not mix dogs when their owners are not around, but our dog spent plenty of time around her family. She sent videos of our dog playing with people and kids as well. The kids loved him!”
“Raeann took such good care of my chihuahua Mojo while I was away! It’s the only time I’ve ever had someone else watching him where I didn’t worry about him constantly. She sent me multiple pictures/updates each day and I could tell he was relaxed and engaged. I appreciated that she checked with me if certain outings were ok (like taking him on trips in the car) and she made sure his important instructions were followed. He was clearly VERY loved and had all of his emotional and physical needs met. He settled right back in at home without any “where were you how could you have left me” like he has in the past before Raeann. Thank you again!”
About: I have owned and trained dogs for 30 years. I volunteered as a trainer and handler for wilderness search and rescue dogs. I also was a volunteer as a foster dog mom for the Humane Society. I understand how hard it is to leave your pup while you're at work. I would love to help you out with visits and walks while you're away. I just retired and joined Rover as a dog walker after using the service for years. I am available to walk your dog and stop for visits any time. Boarding for dog walking/drop in clients only. I have a pup of my own due to a foster failure, I just couldn't give him up. I have trained.and handled lot of different types of dogs as a volunteer for HARP and Canine Companions. I will always treat your pet as if it were one of my own. They will get a long leisurely walk with lots of time to sniff and explore. I'll make sure they are settled in when we return home and have fresh water. Your instructions will be followed and I'll always leave you a note and keep in touch as directed.
