About: I have a wide variety of experience with all sorts of animals. I’ve had large and small dogs, cats, rodents, amphibians, and lizards, I even had a pot belly pig, sheep & duck as a child. I also volunteered at a local vet when I was a teenager and gained a lot of hands on experience caring for many types of animals! I’m a stay at home mlm and I homeschool my two teenage daughters. They absolutely adore animals as well. I feel this will allow me to spend a lot of one on one time with your pet. Your fur baby will be well cared for and interacted with while they’re here! (Please note that Rover doesn’t consider my children’s ages to count towards, “children being present in our home.” However, I think this information should be available to those who choose to put their pets in my care. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space for your fur baby to run! I also have separate family room in my house where our dogs sleep at night, and that is where I would put crates if they need to be crated at any time.

About: I have owned breeds from Yorkies to Saint Bernards. I have no breed prejudice. I have experience with Rottweilers, pit bulls, bulldogs, etc. so I have no problem caring for the breeds others may not be comfortable with. I worked for a pet store for a while so I have an experience handling multiple dogs at a time, specifically young puppies so I can handle a challenge! I have experience giving medications, grooming/bathing, nail trimming, walking. I am currently a stay at home mom to an infant, So the majority of my day is open to provide services! We had a very busy and hectic schedule during our visit with family up in the York/Hanover area, Chelsea worked with us each day on our drop off and pick up times which allowed us to spend time with our grandkids without being rushed or stressed about our furbaby Rascal. We were updated with text and pictures from Chelsea each day she had Rascal. One of our concerns was Rascal doesn't like being crated and Chelsea let us up front she doesn't crate dogs. She allows them to be on her furniture and has dog beds for them to lay on as well. She takes them out for walks and potty breaks and Rascal seems extremely happy when he was with Chelsea and her family. If we lived in the area we would use Chelsea again and again. About: I own 2 huskies. I've volunteered with a dog rescue for 8 years fostering all types of dogs... 46 of them in fact. My husband and I have firefighter/EMT schedules so we're often home during the day, and handle emergencies well. We have an irregular schedule in my house. You will have to check my calendar for availability. We are often home during the week and daytime. My care for my dogs and foster dogs depend on the dog. I also have a corgi who is 3 years old, she is the cutest, naughtiest, most complex little thing I have ever met. She has a seizure disorder and requires three different medications every 12 hours. Anyways, the point is I have lots of experience! And I would love to have the opportunity to help take care of your fur babies & give you piece of mind while you go on vacation or have to be away from home. I am willing to take care of animals full time so all day and all night I am available as long as I know in advance. I prefer to watch animals at clients home if possible. I am very focused on making sure animals are safe and happy. I am able to walk dogs safely as well as feed and bathe them or take them outside to use them bathroom as needed. In the Rover app, I must modify your booking to be able to do that. I work full-time 9:30am -6pm, Monday -Friday in York, Pa, so I limit my service area during the week to areas between York and New Oxford. I can serve a larger area such as Gettysburg and Dillsburg on weekends. I adhere carefully to client directions about medication, supervision, feeding, and exercise. I want dogs to keep their usual routine as much as possible, and owners to rest assured their treasured pets are cared for as they would. I am a background -checked government employee that prides myself on being dependable and trustworthy. I discuss my scheduling limitations with owners to ensure they are getting a sitter who is the best fit for their pets.

“Heather and her family greeted our dogs with loving, open arms. They have a lovely home with a farm which allowed the dogs to be entertained from their playpen with chickens and ducks. Our dogs are completely happy with no problems while they were visiting Heather and Family. Heather is great at communication and gets back to you right away. We asked for pictures and Heather sent lots of pictures to comfort us knowing our girls were safe and well loved.”

“Lydia was fantastic! She welcomed her home to us with her lovely family including her chickens during our meet and greet. We proceeded to boarding 2 nights with her. Her home provided a warm, cozy and energetic vibe for our Poodle who is out going and craves human interaction. Lydia was not familiar with poodle grooming initially but after a quick demonstration and positive feedback she mastered it in no time. I appreciated her attention to detail, ability to communicate throughout the day and her willingness to learn how to care for specific dog breeds. It was a mutual rewarding experience and she even supervised her children doing obedience training with our pup.”

“I absolutely recommend Tori..100%!! She helped me out with very, very short notice for a weekend stay for my dog. She took very good care of my boy. This was our 1st time leaving him anywhere with anyone so we were a little apprehensive but she eased our feelings as soon as we met her! She sent some awesome pics a couple times throughout the days and gave me updates, which I thought was great! My pup seemed to have a great time at her house. I will definitely use Tori again on the future!”
“Sam is such a wonderful dog lover and knew exactly what our dog Dublin is like and how to introduce him to other dogs. We didn't know this prior the drop off, but she had a few other dogs in different sizes, including her own dog, so it was wonderful for Dublin to be able to play with them and socialize. Her house has a huge fenced yard, surrounded by a woody area, which I think was perfect for Dublin. This is just a one-time boarding opportunity, as we were traveling through the area, but we'd certainly board our dog with ther again if we could.”
