About: I’ve been an animal rescuer since childhood, and have raised my children (12-20) to do the same. My most recent official role in animal care and rescue has been via fostering dogs and cats through the Morris Animal Refuge in Philadelphia. Unofficially, I have been a proud dog mama for 11 years, and cat mama off and on since childhood. My resident doggo Patches is a proud foster father, and is comfortable with dogs and cats of all ages. If you have a pup or cat that could use a cuddle buddy while you are away, Patches is your guy. I am comfortable with and have experience in caring for cats, dogs, small mammals, birds, and small reptiles. I do have a particular aversion to cricket feeding, but we can make it work with super worms lol I do not know much about fish or amphibian care, but I am open to learning. I am a stay at home parent with my youngest children entering middle and high school, so my schedule is fairly open. I’m looking for furry friends to hang out with while I’m home during the day. It’s gets a little lonely in here 😊 I unfortunately do have a disability that impacts the right side of my body. Because of this, I am nervous about larger dogs that jump often (not just excited hellos), or who have strong prey drives and could potentially drag me on a walk. My dog Patches (50lbs) is walked with a gentle lead harness to keep things safe for both of us. I can handle dogs his size - or a bit larger - who do not jump, or who are low energy and would prefer to hang in the backyard rather than taking longer walks. I care for all animals as I would a human family member. I am comfortable with normal day to day care, as well as those who require special needs. I try to be very respectful of the personality of each pet. Some animals are nervous at first, and I’d like to respect their need for space and/or time to warm up to me. Other animals are excited to have a brand new friend, and I am too! Basically, I try to match the energy of who I am hanging out with.

About: Hello! My name is Hannah and I have a lovely cat named Miso. I am currently studying canine training and behavior at the Animal Behavior Institute and have previous work experience as a kennel assistant, which has helped me tremendously when it comes to understanding animal behavior. I work well with all types of dogs and cats (e.g. big, small, friendly, timid, resistant, etc...) and I enjoy every minute of it! I offer pet-sitting, dog walking, drop-ins, and any additional pet service you require. About: I have extensive cat care experience. At no time during my childhood did we have fewer than 4. We took in many strays, including a pregnant mama who gave birth to 5 healthy kittens in our home. My first cat as adult was one of the kittens of another mama we rescued shortly after their birth. My dog, Remi is my baby! I always make sure I meet her needs and give her all of the love and attention. I give her plenty of walks and snuggles. She loves following along as I ride my bike around the block. She also loves going to Ocean City with us on our family vacations. Lastly, she loves to be chased around out back or lounge on the porch for a few hours.
About: What sets me apart is the level of care, patience, and attention I give every animal as if they were my own. I have hands-on experience caring for pets through managing homes and vacation rentals, along with volunteering for animal shelters and farms in Wisconsin, where I worked with animals of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’m very detail-oriented, dependable, and communicative, so pet parents always know their animals are safe, loved, and well cared for while they’re away. Because I work from home and manage my own schedule, I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, companionship, and check-ins throughout the day instead of pets being left alone for long periods. About: Growing up I’ve always had pets, including dogs of multiple breeds! I love being with and taking care of animals. My family currently has 2 border collies and a bulldog/boxer mix! I’m very good with all kinds of pets:) I am currently completing my clinical rotations in physician assistant school! My weekday schedule allows for some evening availability and my weekends are usually open, especially Sundays! Currently, I am not looking to care for dogs in my own home but I am willing to care for client’s pets on their homes!

Allan and anne fit that criteria perfectly. They also have a medium size dog Joey who my dogs got along with. I have two dogs that they had watched. They are both about 60lbs. The dogs really seemed to enjoy their stay. Allan sent me daily pics of the dogs having a great time. He also offered to pick up more food for the dogs because I did not send enough. Very active family with a combination of young and senior dogs in the house. Experience with senior care as well as puppies. I live where I work! Clients go to work with me if appropriate or are checked on many times throughout the day. My office is walking distance from my house. Flexible working schedule. Very active household with access to fenced in areas as well as fields, woods trails and walking paths all at our residence.
