“Our dog raced to the front door remembering her stay with Jena and Nick from last year. She remained happy and was able to stick to her normal routines while there. Jena sent pictures and updates regularly and was good about reporting any concerns or issues such as the air quality preventing long walks. They were genuinely concerned about Liz’s well being which is so important to us. Our pet was well cared for, and we plan to use them any time we need a dog sitter. We find them to be reliable, caring, and responsible and know Liz is in good hands while we are away.”

My schedule allows me to be home throughout the day so I can provide frequent potty breaks. I can also provide daily walks or playtime either indoors or in our fenced yard. Our pug is dependent and has a special diet so we’re understanding and happy to accommodate your dog's needs. We do crate, but only when we’re away from the house, which is rare. About: I have been dog sitting for friends for 15years. I have experience with all types of dogs from French Bulldogs to German Shepherds to King Charles Cavaliers. I treat each dog like they were my own and give them the best care possible while their owners are away. I also have experience dealing with smaller dogs that are aggressive with other dogs I work full time from home so I am able to give the dog any attention it needs and will be able to take them outside frequently. I will treat your pet like it is my own whlie they are with me. I have no issues with the dog sitting on furniture or sleeping on the bed. “So if you are looking for a breath of fresh air for an animal sitter do not look any further. Jodi went beyond just taking care of our dog who is a lab 60 Ibs. Down to every detail I ask her to do she did plus did more. She brought out our garbage to the curb and brought in our mail each day. We had a camera which we told her we had. When we had a chance to look at it she was interacting with our dog, excited to be there and our dog always greeted her with a wagging tail and his toy. She walked him each visit and did not care about the 1/2 hour she had to be there. She stayed as long as he did his business and was happy. She truly loves her job and it shows. If you are reading this review please beware of dog sitters that have good reviews. We do have a camera (which we tell each of them) and have seen dog sitters sit on the chair waiting for the 1/2 hour to be up. They leave back door open and just stand there while the dog is outside for 10 minutes then they leave. When we ask to walk the dog they have an excuse why they did not walk like the weather. Jodi is a gem and nothing like the negative comments I wrote. I will definitely be hiring her again!!”

About: I have always been the person that friends, neighbors and family have called on to watch their pets. I personally have had dogs, cats and a bird . Two of my dogs had ACL surgery so I am familiar with the care that is needed after such a procedure. I have a high energy but aging Vizsla (Cooper), a new to the family rescue shiba inu (Winston), two young children (4, 1) and a husband who works from home most days. Why I love dog sitting I have always loved dogs, ever since I was a little girl. Some of my earliest memories are me snuggling and playing with my first dog, a beautiful black lab named Winchester. I had years with a beloved boxer named Ebony that mark most of my childhood and the best Christmas I ever had was when my parents surprised me with Lionel, our family goldendoodle, as a puppy. I have grown up with dogs and can't imagine a life without a furry friend in it. My experience administering medication I'm a nurse practitioner so I regularly deal with medications and would be willing to help your pet as long as I am given proper instructions on how to give the medication safely! I work full time but have some flexibility with my hours. My husband works from home most days so your pup would generally have one of us home to play with them and care for them while you are away. We have young children so we are rarely out long or late! I have a large fenced back yard with plenty of space for your pup to play with mine! I take safety very seriously and monitor all playtime between your dog and mine.

About: Hello! My name is Izzy, I’m 21 years old, and I’m going into my senior year at Penn State while working at Rita’s Italian Ice in Cranberry Twp. I’m so excited to start my Rover journey! I’ve grown up with having dogs in my household all my life, from a 4 1/2 lb. Chihuahua to a chunky Toy Fox Terrier to a mighty but loving Rottweiler-Black Lab mix. I’ve also been tasked with taking care of my neighbor’s and friend’s dogs over the years, whether that be stopping over to give them food, bathroom breaks, and cuddles, or even staying overnight over the span of a week so the dog(s) don’t feel alone. Therefore, I’m hoping to be the best fit for you, too! Outside of dogs, I love to be in our pool when the weather is warm and being able to do so with my family, pick up new crafting hobbies like scrapbooking or embroidery, and go to concerts of a variety of artists (43 concerts and counting!), most recently being 5 Seconds of Summer. I can’t wait to start this opportunity and hopefully bring some relief to someone in need of dog-helping needs! I’m currently working part-time at Rita’s Italian Ice in Cranberry Twp., and the schedule always fluctuates between 4-6 hour shifts. I don’t have set days, but I’m typically scheduled one weekday and the Friday-Sundays, However, I have plenty of time outside of those shifts and always accommodate around them to ensure that all the dog’s needs are met. At home, I assist in letting our dogs play in our fenced-in backyard, giving them treats when they’ve behaved or done a trick we’ve taught them (sit and “paw”), taking them on neighborhood walks when it’s nice outside, assuring that their food and water are filled, and playing with them to get their zoomies out before everyone starts winding down for the night. Outside of my home, if there is not a fenced-in backyard, I’ve taken the dog(s) outside on leashes for bathroom purposes, as well as do all actions mentioned above from what I do at home. Some houses have also had puppy pads when necessary, and I always take appropriate measures to clean up any messes and re-lay down a fresh puppy pad.

About: I'm a huge animal lover - big and small! I've had dogs and cats my whole life. We have a sweet cat who absolutely loves every dog that comes through our home. We currently have a Great Dane and Great Pyrenees as well as chickens, 1 guinea pig, 2 rabbits and fish. I'm all about making sure our babies are happy and healthy and living the best life we can provide to them. After doing much research and lots of experience, I've learned a lot about a dog's language and how to respect them. I will treat your pets as if they are my own and will love on them just the same. I can't wait to meet your fur-babies! Rover is my full time job right now so I’m available to take care of your pup throughout the day as need be, whether that’s just hanging out or a walk or potty break, etc. I have a large fenced in yard and our 2 dogs will gladly keep your pup company and enjoy running around. I can easily crate if need be as well.
