“We needed to leave Roughy for 4 days. Mary and Dan were great. This was Roughy's first time staying with them. They have a huge fenced in yard that Roughy appeared to love. He isn't used to being off the leash. He ran around the yard barking at the cars going by (which were pretty far away) and got some good exercise. Although he was sad that we left him, Mary and Dan took great care of him and made him feel at home. They were willing to let him sleep in the bed with them which I think made him feel safe. They sent a picture or a video each day and were quick to keep in touch when we messaged them. He was happy to see us when we got back, but I think he had a good time with them and I would go back to them again.”

About: I am the ultimate pet lover! I grew up with fish, a hamster, a rabbit, and dogs. In 2008, I adopted 3 puppies of my parents’ dog. They were my kids and my pride and joy! My last pup passed away in January 2024, 2 months shy of his 16th birthday. Our dogs and cats are free to go wherever they want at the house back at home and when they stay here at my apartment. Although I am not living with them currently, I believe taking them out either for a long walk or to the dog park for at least forty five minutes is essential.

They were very quick to respond and continued with good communication throughout the entire time they had my dog. They took the time, at a very busy time of year, to meet us on the Sunday before at a local park and introduced their beautiful Lab Chase to us. Seeing how well they handled Chase and how understanding they were of Clementine’s intimidation, really eased our minds of my small dog being around a bigger dog and it showed how compassionate these two fun dog loving people are towards their guest dogs and owners. Prior to Clem's stay, they asked all the right questions about how to care for her and what they could do to help with any anxiety, when to feed her how much, etc., We felt very comfortable with them and liked both of them very much! While we don’t have a fenced yard, I prioritize frequent walks, outdoor time, and supervised potty breaks to ensure dogs stay active and engaged. We also have a friendly, goofy, and welcoming Golden Retriever who loves having dog friends and helps new pups feel comfortable quickly. I focus on consistency, safety, and making sure every dog feels at home, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care is part of my daily routine, not an afterthought. I’m available to board your dog or provide care for a few hours, depending on your needs. I’m fully available on weekends, and I also work from home on Mondays and Fridays, allowing me to give your dog consistent attention and companionship on those days as well. I usually take our dog out every four hours. But depending on your dog needs, i can adjust.Depending on your pups needs, i can keep them separate from our dog or keep them together. I am flexible.
