My cat is very anxious and does not warm up to strangers quickly. Ilana sent me photos/videos/updates every day, multiple times a day, to keep me updated on how it was going. This included updates anywhere from food intake and if she was eating, to her safe places in the house. She was also very attentive to Spinach’s needs, likes, and routines, and attended to them throughout her stay (e.g., pets and scratches, medication, etc.). She was also flexible when I needed to extend my booking for an additional day. Spinach loved Ilana and it was great seeing her get more and more comfortable during her stay. Ilana was a lifesaver and I definitely will be using her services anytime I need to make sure my cat has a safe, reliable, and loving space while I’m away!”

About: Although I didn’t grow up around cats, I recently had the opportunity to foster a cat through the local humane society! She was a young and energetic cat who was rescued as a stray, but had to be kept in isolation from other animals due to a communicable illness. Once we took her in, giving her the space to rest and rehab comfortably, she made a quick recovery and was adopted after a couple short months, once she was medically cleared! This taught me so much about tending to the needs of rescue animals and specifically monitoring any health concerns!

“Isaiah is such a blessing. Isaiah was quick and easy to communicate with. (ProTip: message from the Rover app directly, not the SMS text that you get from Rover.) Isaiah quickly made a plan to come over and meet my 3 Maine Coon Cats. He asked all of the right questions, things I didn't even think of. We made a plan for next month, but when a last minute weekend trip came up, Isaiah was right there for us. He sent Great Pics of our kitties and I could tell they were very comfortable with him. When we've left the kitties all alone for 48 hours once before, it took days for them to relax into their regular personalities after we returned. Not the case when Isaiah cared for them. They were chill and happy, as usual. I know that he cared for them and gave them lots of pets and brushes. Isaiah is a Top Notch and Trustworthy Caregiver.”

About: I have an 11 year old senior dog who I’ve trained in eating, using the bathroom, tricks, and other manners since he was born. I’m known to my family and close friends as the pet-obsessed girl, who says hi to every animal I pass on the street. By picking me as your animal’s caretaker, your picking a complete animal-lover who will love your pets just as much as you do❤️ As a college athlete, I often take walks around my neighborhood on my own for leisurely time.
