“We recently brought our dog Ollie to Ena and Dan to stay overnight 2 days. We were super worried as Ollie is the most shy dog we have ever met. He is very attached to us and never has taken to anyone else despite our many attempts to get him to do so. We were very nervous when we dropped him off, but Ena was great at sending us updates and photos so that we could feel better, especially when we saw how well he was bonding with Ena, Dan and their dog! By day 2 he was cuddling with them, sleeping in bed with them and running around the dog park with them and having a blast. We felt totally at ease. About: I have taken care and loved all ages of dogs my whole life. From owning them to watching the neighbors and friends. I have also worked in a professional setting for about 5+ years and have had experience caring for all different breeds and their specific individual needs. In addition, I have training experience with Penn Vet Working Dog Center as well as some classes I attended at a training school! I’m grateful for all the experiences I’ve had and all the ones waiting to be had! I have currently care for 3 different types of animals (cat, gecko, and turtle!) I did have a dog as well however she sadly passed recently. I am able to crate dogs as well as provide medications and keep up with dietary restrictions. I am able to walk as well as play and spend time with the pups! For cats I am able to scoop litter and give as many or as little cuddles as the cat may enjoy! I’m good with feeding as well as administering meds to cats

“Houston is a very particular, somewhat fearful and needy little angel whom Alessandra was able to provide just the right environment for. After each visit, he came home happy, healthy and tired! When I dropped him off at the bigger daycare centers in the area, he would be shaking before we even walked in the door. He cried when I left him and he was so stressed and overwhelmed when I picked him up, he would take long trauma naps through dinner and breakfast the next day. In Alessandra's home, he is able to roam and lay wherever, whenever; he gets plenty of walks and enjoys her backyard. More importantly (for him), he has a limited number of playmates, so he can avoid the burnout and feeling of being overwhelmed and there is plenty of space to take a break as needed. This intimate environment seems to do much better for him and we are very appreciative of the love Alessandra shows Houston. We get lots of photos and updates every day. I find Alessandra to be very flexible, communicative and easy to talk to. We won't be looking elsewhere unless she is fully booked!”

About: I’ve taken care dogs of all kinds, with 4 years of house and dog sitting experience. The longest period I have house/dog sat is 3 weeks. Experience chauffeuring pets. Open schedule, able to work as needed. Experience with rescues. I am currently working from home with a freelance schedule, which means I have a lot of availability for your pets! As long as I have a few hours notice I should be able to make it work. I will keep your pets on a long leash but will walk them through the 1 acre property, and am happy to walk them on the neighboring 200 acres of preserved land.

I like working with small dogs/lap dogs but I can work with bigger dogs too. I work from home, and I have plenty of time to play with your dog or take them on walks. I spend most of my day ar my desk, and I would welcome the extra encouragement to go outside and take the dog for a walk. I live with two other family members who love dogs, so your dog will never go without attention. If your dog is small, then I will happily let them sit on my bed while I work, and I'll reach over to give them pets whenever they want. Larger dogs are welcome to lie in a dog bed by my desk, or downstairs on the couch with me.

My schedule is open therefore I have the time to walk the little fur pet around and take him or her to a local dog park if you're comfortable with that idea. If you chose me, I will be fully dedicated to not only care for your furry friend, but to love it with all my heart! I am available for dog training, walking, sitting, etc. And if you are comfortable with it at times I can bring my own dog for puppy playdates! I am also experienced with simple dog grooming! I enjoy going for hikes and long walks and would be more than happy to bring your pet along with me. I am comfortable with animals of all sizes and ages and will love them all equally !! I also have spent the last year volunteering at my local shelter and fostering and recently adopted my first foster fail! I am a recent graduate from JMU and starting graduate school in the fall for Clincial and counseling psychology for children and adolescents at Chestnut Hill University I do have a 4 yr old cat and recently rescue 7 yr old dog, so therefore most likely unable to board unless it’s a cat who is good with dogs as my dog is fearful

“I don't know why it took me so long to post this review. Tyler was absolutely amazing with my dog, Austin! I had originally booked Austin with Tyler for one week but due to housing issues I had to extend his stay. I actually had to extend Austin's stay a few times and Tyler was always happy and willing to house Austin for as long as we needed. Tyler let me come visit Austin periodically since I missed him so much, and every time I visited Austin looked great and seemed truly happy there. I will 10/10 rebook with Tyler! I am forever grateful for Tyler's help throughout that difficult time and highly recommend using him for whatever length of stay your pup or kitty needs.”
