Mila is a very shy dog but Jean was willing to work with her (and us) to make sure she was comfortable staying away from us for a week-long vacation. She sent us daily updates to let us know that Mila was getting along well and actually enjoying herself! At the end of the week, Jean also let me know how things went over all. I am so happy we found her! You can tell that she (and her family) truly care for the dogs they look after and spoil them with love while their owners are away. We tried kennels and while they were safe and well managed, my pup was simply anxious in a loud setting with limited contact. “Our dog Poncho stayed with Chonlada for a week while we were on vacation and we could not take him with us. She was very flexible and agreeable to a meet & greet beforehand. Poncho and her dog Tokie were similar in size, age, and activity level so they seemed to get along great. She has a large fenced property for the dogs to explore and run around. I got daily updates as well as pictures and videos of Poncho, which made my family and I feel better about leaving him. Chonlada and her family took great care of Poncho (spoiled him...lol) and made sure he ate his meals and slept comfortably. They also comforted him during a thunder storm, which he does not like. Chonlada even contacted me when she noticed that Poncho was licking his paws and had a small abrasion, which she treated and monitored. We chose the boarding option, and Nimer had the best time at Joan's house, sleeping on her bed, playing in the cat tunnels, and climbing the cat trees. He also got along so well with her ferrets!
