“Audrey and Dan went above and beyond to take care of my senior Newfoundland (12 years 2 months) when we went away for 5 nights. With her age, she unexpectedly took a turn for the worse and they provided really great care and provided updates throughout the day on how she was doing - they even took turns sleeping downstairs with her so she wouldn't be alone. Caring for a stranger's 130lb dog is not easy but I was able to worry a little less knowing she was being cared for lovingly by them. They were also very flexible and allowed me to bring a bunch of floor runners to their house and they were also able to follow my millions of instructions including feeding schedules with supplements, and pills. About: I’ve always had multiple pets my whole life from a young age, learned responsibilities by feeding, grooming, walking, entertaining, training and medically providing for all my pets and any animal in my care. I have experience working in multiple vet clinics throughout my childhood as I was a pre-vet major up until junior year of college so I have a lot of experience with all kinds of animals and medical knowledge as well. I now have my own dog, Appa, who is 2 that I raised from a puppy and am currently self training. I am currently a phd grad student at vanderbilt university so I have morning classes and lab work, but I live right down the road from campus (less than 5 min drive) and I always come home immediately after my classes/work to be home with Appa. About: Caring for cats has always come naturally to me. I understand their rhythms, respect their space, and love getting to know each one’s unique personality. When I was a kid, I would always take care of our next-door neighbors' cat whenever they went away. I loved every second of it, and I wished for a cat of my own, but allergies in our home made that impossible. About: I have been petsitting for over 10 years now, and have dealt with all different breeds. Im naturally a very energetic person so I love to take dogs on walks/runs and play out in the yard or house with them! “Melissa was a wonderful dog sitter! This was the first time my one year old goldendoodle was being watched by a family member, but Melissa made sure not only Sammie felt comfortable, cared for, and loved, but also me! She sent daily text updates, plenty of pictures, and a video each day of my vacation. Sammie even was able to fall asleep with her in her bed similar to how she is at home. Sammie loved their dogs and had a great time playing in the back yard. I highly recommend Melissa, Dan, and her family for watching dogs. You will feel at ease knowing your pup is in wonderful, loving hands :)”

“Jim provided excellent care for my pup. I really appreciated his availability when my previous boarding arrangements fell through at the last minute. My pup is a finicky eater and Jim kept me up to date on her feeding habits and asked permission to add tempting meat to her food to entice her. She loves to run at full speed, so his fenced property was ideal. Jim also communicated with me as well as provided plenty of photos during her stay and a video of her socializing at playtime.
