About: My name is Monica. I have taken care of pets for over 29 years. I currently have 3 cats both neutered. One is a senior 15 yrs old, then there is 7 yrs and 1 yr. They keep to themselves. Over the years many dogs and cats have came and went each showing their individuality. Each pet has a need which will be met according to your standards. If you book me for a Board or even a day stay I promise to have you and your furry friend 100% satisfied. I can also walk them,and do drop bys. Your pet will always have someone around in my home(if they like children). It can be hard to find someone as trustworthy as it is for me. They are just as much children and finding the right person takes time. I'm willing to show I am trustworthy And will treat them as my own. I have 3 floors,so if any pets I care for needs personal space I can accommodate. We also have a spare room where they can relax. Due to health I can only take dogs up to 18 lbs. Please note my drop-off and pickup fee is for within a 15 mile radius. If you need pickup outside that range higher fees apply. I'm a stay at home mom who works from home. I am flexible. Other then appointments and cooking. I'm usually available during the week and most weekends. About: I’ve been around dogs and animals in general since a young age, with my grandpa running a small farm. I’ve grown up around breeds like German Shepherds, and have always taken care of friends’ dogs while they were in vacation. I learned a lot from my fiancé, who ran a successful dog walking business in New York City Give yourself peace of mind, your dog is in safe, loving, caring hands. I’m currently working from home with a special schedule which I take advantage of as it frees up a lot of time during the day. Pet care fits into it quite easily, as I have a daily routine I follow which includes dog walks, time with the dogs outside and of course feedings (and tending medicine when needed). I have a home situated on a quiet, secluded private lot that backs up onto a river with several trails within a short walking distance. The yard is secluded, well shaded and has ample space. I take care to be active with the dogs, so I usually toss frisbees or play fetch several times a day to keep them content. I walk my dogs twice around the neighborhood. Besides home, I have a number of dog-friendly trails and parks both in East Stroudsburg and nearby where I bring the dogs for some quality time outside. This includes hiking on trails and in the mountains, bringing the dogs to rivers or lakes, I mix it up each week depending on the weather conditions. Any time I go on an outdoor adventure, I make sure I have the owner’s consent. Their dogs will always be hydrated and have a snack. I only ask that if your dog has specific dietary needs or is taking medication, that you provide me with the necessary information and schedule. I have two modes of transport for dogs, both of which offer plenty of space, safety and comfort for the dogs while en route.

I look forward to meeting you and your pup!! I work from home and my hours are flexible, so I am able to arrange my work schedule around the needs of you and your dog(s)! I always ensure that your dog’s collar/harness and leash are secure so they won’t slip out on a walk. I bring poop bags on every walk, and a water thermos and bowl on longer walks. Food, potty breaks, and medicine administration can all be given at drop-ins. I have experience giving oral medications, eye drops, injections, and sub-q IV drips to my own dogs, and can do so for yours as well with as much care and love as if they’re my own.

“For the first time in a long time, my family and I took a vacation out of the country. I was especially worried about our dogs as we've taken them with us whenever we've gone on a trip and they wouldn't be able to go with us this time. I found Marleny and Luis as a first time Rover user and was relieved that they were able to care for our two dogs while away. We had a meet and greet, and a few day visits leading up to the trip and all went well. The dogs were with them for 8 days and my heart was at peace knowing they were being cared for in their home. I sent rationed food, treats, beds and instructions for eye drops and daily supplements. Marleny did not hesitate and accommodated all my requests. I'm very happy to have found a caring home and caretakers. We will be planning more vacations knowing we have a reliable and caring option for Ella and Diesel.”
