I’m Mags (Rover requires me to use my legal name) and I love all animals I have been passionate about dogs ever since I was a child but because experienced working with dogs and cats (and some bunnies) while working for the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County. I was a veterinarian assistant for one year and then became an adoptions Manager for three years. This was the most fulfilling experience of my adult life, being able to help animals and the community daily. I recently lost my closest companion, Xander, about a month ago. He was 13 years old and I had him since he walked into the humane society at two months old. Through him I gained even more experience with aging dogs, medical care and many behavioral changes as he aged. While using positive reinforcement training we navigated 6 military moves, life adaptions to aging and the introduction of two kittens. I will take all this experience and use it to provide the same amount of love an attention for you furry family members as I did for Xander. I am currently employed part time and have many days free as well as can stay over night or board animals in my home. I have a very flexible schedule and am happy to work with any client’s schedule as needed. I currently only have two cats in my home, so I’m able to provide boarding for cat friendly animals. I have a fenced in back yard and am usually not gone from the house for more than four hours. I am living at home with my parents now after graduation while I save up money to move out, so I am home pretty much all day so I will be able to give your pup lots of love and attention :) I will give you dog lots of love and attention while providing them with a safe and comfortable home, my home is very low key, perfect for dogs coming into a new environment, my family loves dogs just as much as me.
About: Hi! My name is Clarissa and I’ve been an animal lover all my life. I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens and pigs. I have one pup named Revvy and he’s a German shepherd mix. I am currently managing a fear-free, vet tech ran grooming salon and have been working with all kinds of pets for the past 4-5 years. Keeping your fur babies safe and happy is what matters to me the most. I’m currently working part time day shift from 9am-5pm. Depending on the day I may get off early around 2-3pm but I always try to plan around 4:30 and will be able to change depending on your flexibility. I’m willing to do anything that’s needed for your fur baby. I’m also experienced in puppy obedience training if you happen to have a puppy.
About: My love for dogs began at a very young age, nothing can make me happier. I assisted my mom in running her kennel for many years, (we had 6 of our own) i was able to learn a lot from that and even got familiar with delivering puppies and working with dogs on behavioral issues before they were placed into their permanent homes. At 18 i got a job working as a kennel technician at a local pet shoppe, after showing my hard work and dedication i was given their assistant manager title! and i now own 2 dogs of my own, Everest & Copper. I am always willing to see if i can make something work out! i have a job but consistent hours can be a struggle within my work place. I truly believe that its all up to the owner, every dog is very different and has their own schedule and way they like to do things ! communication and listening to my clients is very important to me in order to make sure I'm respecting wishes and making their pup comfortable and happy as possible during our times spent together.

Our Environment Your dog will stay in a peaceful, spacious 60-acre homestead at the end of a quiet road, surrounded by a creek and plenty of room to explore. I have a very secure, fully fenced large yard for safe outdoor time and plenty of space to relax. I have miles of walking trails through the woods, around the fields and down to the creek. Inside my home, I have several kennels available if needed, including a large 5’ x 10’ kennel and a 3’ x 5’ kennel. Most importantly, dogs are treated as part of the family and receive plenty of love, attention, and supervision.
