About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a child. My parents owned 10 acres and I helped care for dogs, pigs, rabbits, birds, sheep, goats and more. I currently own a four year-old golden retriever who I have trained since a puppy, and I am currently beginning training for him to become a Therapy dog so he can bring joy to others, as much as, he’s brought to me. I have been a physical therapist assistant for over 15 years and I am looking to focus more on my family who is getting older and the more important things in life. I’m also looking to find a new path with animals, which is why I am available daily with notice to ensure there is comfort for myself, my dog and for you and your pet as well! I have a 2 1/2 acre yard, it is not fenced so I would need to know if your dog needs to be on a leash or is trained to stay by command. My dog Oakley is four years old, trained by commands and is extremely friendly and has never had any problems with another dog. I sadly cannot take cats because he is scared of them. I am home 24/7, so I am able to be there for all their care, especially if younger and needing to be let out more often or if older and need medicine given at certain times. I have a crate if needed that could be used for small, medium or large breeds.

They like Jahada and go with her easily, it's my mama dog who is still a little anxious. She will just pant though. Not exhibiting any other bad behaviors. She will use the bathroom while with Jahada, both poop and pee, which is fantastic because if she were to feel completely uneasy, she wouldn't do either. We're about to attempt an overnight stay! About: I've loved animals my whole life. I grew up around them. Currently I have 3 dogs and one cat. One of my dogs is a Lab mix, then a German Shepard mix and my last dog is a Boxer mix. From me they will get all the love and attention they need. I'm great with animals. They always come to me and are very happy. I always reward them for good behavior whether it be a treat or a toy. About: When I was younger, I had an Australian cattle dog. She was the best! My family has also had cats throughout my entire life, up to 6 at a time. I’ve taken care of friends and family’s pets as well. After a busy year in 2025 my husband and I plan to get a dog this year but need to wait until Spring. I take care to pay attention to the temperature outside and a dog’s needs and adjust walks accordingly (no walking on hot asphalt, make sure dogs with no undercoat are suitably dressed in cold weather, etc.). I’m a firm believer in letting dogs experience the world around them through smell, and allow them to sniff to their nose’s content on walks. If your dog is prone to pulling, please have a suitable harness available for use. (I highly recommend PetSafe EasyWalk harnesses.) NO prong, choke, or shock collars! I look forward to meeting you and your pup!! I work from home and my hours are flexible, so I am able to arrange my work schedule around the needs of you and your dog(s)! I always ensure that your dog’s collar/harness and leash are secure so they won’t slip out on a walk. I bring poop bags on every walk, and a water thermos and bowl on longer walks. Food, potty breaks, and medicine administration can all be given at drop-ins. I have experience giving oral medications, eye drops, injections, and sub-q IV drips to my own dogs, and can do so for yours as well with as much care and love as if they’re my own.

“Jahada and Heaven were excellent with my baby Cloud. I was afraid I wouldn’t find anyone on such a short notice that my dog would get to know and trust so easily. He has been attacked by other dogs in the past and hurt by people so I was worried he wouldn’t like any new people but boy was I wrong! He loved being at their house and got to run around outside and got yummy healthy treats ? I’ll definitely be using them in the future ❤️”

She is experienced with introducing dogs to each other, and they sleep separately. She communicates very well and I felt confident that she was taking care of my dog. About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a child. My parents owned 10 acres and I helped care for dogs, pigs, rabbits, birds, sheep, goats and more. I currently own a four year-old golden retriever who I have trained since a puppy, and I am currently beginning training for him to become a Therapy dog so he can bring joy to others, as much as, he’s brought to me. I have been a physical therapist assistant for over 15 years and I am looking to focus more on my family who is getting older and the more important things in life. I’m also looking to find a new path with animals, which is why I am available daily with notice to ensure there is comfort for myself, my dog and for you and your pet as well! I have a 2 1/2 acre yard, it is not fenced so I would need to know if your dog needs to be on a leash or is trained to stay by command. My dog Oakley is four years old, trained by commands and is extremely friendly and has never had any problems with another dog. I sadly cannot take cats because he is scared of them. I am home 24/7, so I am able to be there for all their care, especially if younger and needing to be let out more often or if older and need medicine given at certain times. I have a crate if needed that could be used for small, medium or large breeds.
