“It's kind of a big deal to leave your pet with a stranger. I am so happy to report that I now have a trusted person to give love to my dog when I have to go away for work. Anika took care of my golden retriever, Baron, over the weekend while I was out of town. Baron and I met her before our trip and I could tell that my dog was immediately at ease in her home. The house is very clean and cute and Anika and her family are warm and welcoming. There is a fenced in front yard with grass for Baron to play and get some exercise. While sweet, Smudge can be a little skittish, but she let Lisa approach and pet her, as well as apply her transdermal medication. Also, we had a glitch in our travel plans and needed her to come for an extra visit, and she was very flexible. We will definitely ask Lisa to help in the future.”

For drop-in visits, I arrive and stay for the duration of the visit and do the duties that the clients need, whether if that's letting the pets outside, feeding them, and/or hanging out and playing with them, etc.
About: I have done pet sitting for over 5 years which include boarding, housesitting and dog walking. I have also cared for cats, chickens, exotic birds and baby goats (bottle fed). I have cared for elderly pets, seizure pets and have no problem with giving medications. ****If you are requesting housesitting, I do have a small easy-going chill dog that likes to come with me if you are ok with that. He gets along with all dogs and cats alike. I do request that we have a meet and greet prior so as to ensure you are comfortable with me in your home and with your pets. I work remotely during the day. So I would be with your pet(s) for the majority of the day. They would only be left alone a few hours on occasion for errands/appointments and such. So they would get plenty of potty breaks, love and attention while you are away. I will care for you pet(s) per your instructions. While at my house they will be allowed on furniture and my bed for extra cuddle time. They will be given plenty of walks and playtime!

About: I have 5+ years experience as a veterinary Technician/Assistant, and have been pet sitting forr 7+ years. I am able administer medication, help pets with medical care at home. I am able to help with both house sitting, drop in care and dog walks. I am able to be with your beloved furry family member a lot, as I work remotely. I do work from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday at a company in Medford. Outside of that schedule, your loved one will be my priority. I treat each pet as I would my own. “It's kind of a big deal to leave your pet with a stranger. I am so happy to report that I now have a trusted person to give love to my dog when I have to go away for work. Anika took care of my golden retriever, Baron, over the weekend while I was out of town. Baron and I met her before our trip and I could tell that my dog was immediately at ease in her home. The house is very clean and cute and Anika and her family are warm and welcoming. There is a fenced in front yard with grass for Baron to play and get some exercise. I missed my pup so Anika even texted pictures over the weekend when she took him for walks. I will happily use Anika again the next time I need day or night care for Baron! Definitely recommend.”

About: I grew up around all kinds of animals and even had up to 7 dogs at one point in my childhood home! I’ve always loved having pets and I even used to pet sit for neighbors frequently. I’m currently not working so I’m able to pet sit Monday-Sunday! I’m open to following specific routines that you have for your pet. I’m also available to do overnights if needed :) I do have a fenced in yard where I can supervise your pet. I currently have no personal pets of my own. I love to maintain their schedule as I know it could be hard for your pet to be in a new environment.

I’ve had pets since I was a child and have taken care of animals since I was a teenager, pet sitting for family and friends when they vacationed. I worked as a vet technician for 6 years so I have experience administering medications orally and by injection.
