They took the time to ask great questions and really understand each dog’s needs. One of our labs has cerebellar hypoplasia, which affects his balance and ability to follow commands, and they handled him with so much patience, care, and compassion. It meant a lot to see how intentional they were—taking notes and making sure they understood how to support him safely and appropriately. About: We have taken care of many friends and families dogs over the years, small and large breeds. We've helped potty train puppies. We have had great success teaching them great tricks, such as sit/lay/wait/shake/whisper/etc. We are a newly empty nest home, very adventurous and outdoorsy. On occasion, the college boys will be home to love on your fur babies as well. We are a very active couple, we love the outdoors. We'd love to have your dogs along for the fun! We cannot watch cats in our home, but are happy to do drop in visits in your home to play with and care for them. We do accept dogs in our home for care. We have a fenced in backyard for lots of playtime, and fields and parks nearby for longer walks and play. We currently have two cats, so your dog must do well with cats to stay in our home. We can also do daily or multi daily check ins on pets in your home (sorry, no housesitting/staying over in your home). About: I've grown up around Labradors my whole life. Right now I have a yellow lab named Jasmine. She's a very high energy 10 year old dog. She's not the type of lab who likes to play fetch or even go into water. Which I feel is quite odd. The funny thing about Jasmine, she sounds like a monkey at times when she wants to come in the house. A little about me- I love being out in nature. My favorite place to walk is the beautiful Sherwood parks. I feel dog walking could be a lot of fun on my off season of my main job which is school photography. I have taken care of senior dogs, including a miniature poodle and a long-haired Chihuahua. Currently I have a part time job but I have open availability on weekdays and weekends. I care for clients home and pets like it's my own. All animals will be treated with high care and monitoring as well as homes. I want clients to feel comfortable with daily updates!
About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life. I currently have three dogs. I am very active and can take your dog for a walk or run. I can also train your dog to do simple commands (sit, stay, lay down, come) - extra fee. I take walks/runs everyday (morning, afternoon, or night). I would be happy to take your pet on a walk with me. I can do short or long walks with your dog. I am willing to walk or run your dog on leash to get the exercise they need on a weekly or daily basis ! !
About: Being raised on a small farm, there have always been cats & dogs around to share in the ups & downs of life. I love leaning into each individual's personality and working with positive reenforcement to catch the animals doing good behavior! I have experience training/working with dogs of all ages. Sometimes our furry friends need extra care. I am experienced in oral medicine administration, wound care, ear & eye treatments (if need be)! I am available for pet care on a daily basis. I care for my cats & dog daily. If ever I need backup support, I have a network of folks willing to lend a hand. When pet sitting, I follow the instructions given by the owner regarding when to feed, how much food, how often they need to go outside. Beyond that, I typically tidy up the space every evening, sweeping/vacuuming, refreshing waters, etc. I try to develop a routine so that the animals know what to expect and can relax into a sense of order. I generally find ways that each animal likes to play and find games that are fun and rewarding.
About: I have had dog, cats, puppies, kittens, hedgehogs, bugs, fish, etc. I have also taken care of reptiles and so much more! I love animals of all sorts and if I'm not educated of the species, Ill make sure I will be before taking care of your baby! I work as a receptionist at a Vet Hospital Currently I'm a full-time student (working to my PHD in Vet Med) who only works three night shifts a week, and can do my schoolwork wherever needed even if its cuddled right beside Ur fur baby! I 100% listen to all needs and wants from the owner. I make sure to give daily pictures and videos of the animals to ease any stress and give lots of love!
About: I have grown up my entire life with all kinds of pets including cats, dogs, gerbils, fish, horses, and more and have always genuinely loved caring for animals. I especially have a soft spot for cats and dogs and I can't wait to meet your pets! When walking dogs I will be sure to take your pet on safe, engaging routes for them so they can get plenty of exercise. I will be sure to give them plenty of extra love and attention as well! I have many years of house and pet sitting experience and will take the time to follow all your specific directions. Whether its extra clean up around your home, specific pet bedtime routines, (I personally love giving my cat, Schmendrick special bedtime treats!) or anything else pertaining to excellent care for your home and pets, I am happy to provide it! I love taking pictures of animals and will take the time to send photos and frequent updates on how their doing while on our walks or while you're away. I understand and believe that all pets are family and I will absolutely treat yours as such!
