About: TLDR - I have experience with many types of pets with varying needs. I have two kids (ages 12 and 14) and many other creatures in the home. I am available for drops ins and walks, but longer term engagements would have to be at my home. I have a fully fenced yard and can welcome a dog to come stay in my home. If you are not comfortable having them in your home, or your pet is not comfortable with kids, that is totally understandable. I am self-employed, so my schedule is flexible to allow to fit pet care into my schedule. I have a car so I am able to travel outside of my immediate neighborhood for pet care or house sitting. In my own home I have a fully fenced yard and space to run around. When I am out of the home I kennel my own dog, who has anxiety and that helps her feel more secure. About: I’ve had a dog my whole life (Fritz and Sam, Buffy the vampire slayer and most recently Bella). We have enjoyed dog sitting since our last pup Bella passed in March 2022. I have recently changed my hours to part time at work, allowing more time to reactivate my rover account to meet new pups. I currently work part time, mostly from home. I walk my own dog three times a day (yes, we’re that kind of household), and I genuinely can’t wait to add your pup to the routine! I make sure doors are securely closed, that anything potentially harmful is stored away, and always take weather into consideration when walking (if it’s over 80 degrees out, I will provide boots to ensure that pups don’t get their paws burned!) I make sure to bring water and poop bags and will always communicate if something seems off.

About: I've had animals all my life but now I am an empty nester and would love to help take care of yours. I have raised Rottweilers, trained and shown horses, had chickens and cared for cats. I also used to be a veterinary receptionist/assistant and so have a lot of on-the-job medical training. Attention to detail is key. I am semi-retired so I have a very flexible schedule and can work with yours. I do go to the gym every morning and walk once a day so I am able to stand up to the physical demands of any size animal. Occasionally I have a weekday or a Saturday off where I can dedicate my whole day. With many years of home training experience I can ensure that strategic walking is in place to keep your dog close and manageable in public, I’m familiar with commands and trigger words and I don’t mind tricking your pup with a sweet treat if needed and requested ;) familiar with crating, pull collars and administering oral medication!
About: I have been an animal lover since a young age, and have been caring for dogs since 2011. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and all ages in between. I have experience in training my own dogs and in practicing commands as asked when puppy-sitting. I've even trained my cat to give high-fives! About: I've taken care of friends dogs for the last 4 years while they were on vacation. I truly love being around them. It is fun to do. I work night shift 5 days a week but I am noramlly available all morning before that and at the beginning of the week. I don’t currently work so I don’t have a job to keep me busy. My cats are kept inside for safety with lots of toys and furniture to keep them busy. I enjoy playing with animals and I’m aware of animals body language so if I need to go slow with an animal I know when to do so
About: Being raised on a small farm, there have always been cats & dogs around to share in the ups & downs of life. I love leaning into each individual's personality and working with positive reenforcement to catch the animals doing good behavior! I have experience training/working with dogs of all ages. Sometimes our furry friends need extra care. I am experienced in oral medicine administration, wound care, ear & eye treatments (if need be)! I am available for pet care on a daily basis. I care for my cats & dog daily. If ever I need backup support, I have a network of folks willing to lend a hand. When pet sitting, I follow the instructions given by the owner regarding when to feed, how much food, how often they need to go outside. Beyond that, I typically tidy up the space every evening, sweeping/vacuuming, refreshing waters, etc. I try to develop a routine so that the animals know what to expect and can relax into a sense of order. I generally find ways that each animal likes to play and find games that are fun and rewarding.

“My dog, Lola, stayed with Jessica for 17 days through the holidays. She's a bit of an anxious dog, has spotty social skills, and super spoiled, so I was nervous about leaving her so long. We did a meet and greet first, and I was impressed with Jessica's calm demeanor and confident handling of the dogs in her care. Plus, Jessica has a huge fenced-in yard for the dogs to play in, so I knew Lola would love romping around off-leash there. Lola had a great time, and was able to make a few new friends during her stay, even improving her social skills around other dogs! Jessica sent photos and videos regularly, which was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend Jessica to anyone looking for a safe and fun environment for their dog(s) while away.”
