About: What does your cat need? Food? I know I'm little more than opposable thumbs that know where the kibble and treats live. Play? I'm fully prepared to run around with a string and congratulate the kitty on catching me. Meds? Swaddle. No matter what is needed, I will read the cat's behavior to respect their boundaries. I pet them only when invited to do so by the cat. Hissing can be waited out or skirted around. I have no desire to make a cat's day worse.

About: I have been around dogs and cats since before I could walk! I started pet sitting for my neighbors when I was a kid and have spent most of my life helping out my friends and family with their pets. I am a huge animal lover and also very active! I often pet sit for my friends and love to take their dogs on walks and runs. I live in Albany with my cat, Bill, and work from home a lot so I have lots of availability and would love some more dog time in my life! I work from home four days a week (wednesday’s i am in office) so i have a lot of availability to spend time with your dog! I am also an active runner and walker, so I can get your pup outside and get out energy if that’s what they need, or we can cuddle up inside and play or hang out :) I live in a spacious two-bedroom apartment with lots of grassy areas and walking paths around. I do have a cat, he gets along well with dogs, but your pup would need to be okay with cats! I have a very gentle approach to dogs and respecting their boundaries is so important to me. Depending on what you prefer for your dog, they are free to roam my apartment and be on furniture, unless you prefer them not to be! I have some experience training so if you’re in the middle of building habits, i will adhere to those practices :)

About: I have worked with many different breeds such as pit bulls, boxers, mastiffs, golden retrievers and many more. Each had their own unique needs and personalities. I am willing to work with any breed even with special needs. I have experience with many different animals not just dogs and cats. I have worked with horses, bearded dragons, a few birds and a few more. If your animals needs care i will do it. I have a dog of my own and a bearded dragon so pet care is in my everyday life and so your pet is not much different. I can not board animals in my home cause i have a high anxiety senior dog so bringing any animal in to my home will not work but i will definitely stay at yours cause its a comfort thing for them. Its there own home. It not fair to kick them out of their own home. I have worked with animals for 3 years and been around them my whole life and i never had a problem and i am good at communicating with owners and i will ask questions if needed amd they can ask if needed also.

About: I was born and raised on a ranch caring for many types of animals. I have extended my background from cows, horses and sheep to training, breeding and so much more with dogs. I am respectful, patient and have an overall love for every animal! I am currently a stay at home mom and looking for other work when I stumbled upon Rover. About: I bond easily with cats and dogs. I am gentle, patient and give 100% to all the fur babies in my care. I enjoy entertaining and caring for these special critters. While with me, I am observant and provide the kind of interaction the pet wants. This could be anything from a massage to hiking and play at a beach with a variety of toys. I always want your pet to feel warm and welcome. I believe walking is the best medicine, so I’m game to go out no matter the weather. My dog Cedar can be reactive, barking, jumping, even nipping when meeting people but with Jordan, it was like a completely different dog. Calm, relaxed, and instantly comfortable. I was in total shock. Even around another dog (which normally worries me), Cedar was in dog heaven. No issues at all. I went in nervous and left totally at ease. “Kathrine is an AMAZING sitter! I went out of town for 5 days and left my pup with her at her home. I immediately felt comfortable leaving her there when I dropped her off. She sent pics, videos, and updated me on all things (eating, pooping, etc.). Her dog, Ophelia, was the sweetest companion and I could tell her and my dog were besties from the pics she sent! They went on multiple walks a day, and even a weekend adventure! I will definitely be using Kathrine again in the future!”
