“Shelby went above and beyond caring for Shadow 🫶 Daily walks, lots of photo updates, and even a thoughtful card and treat at pickup - it meant so much! I could tell he was happy and well cared for the entire time, and will absolutely be booking her again in the future 😊”

“Hailey and her family were absolutely incredible! She provided daily updates and pictures which greatly eased my mind. She went above and beyond to provide sensitive care to my aging dog. I would highly recommend Hailey!”

“Dave and Daniel provide a clean, comfortable and relaxed setting, with a shaded patio and pretty backyard. My guys, Buddy and Micky, looked relaxed and content in the picture and video D & D sent to me, and when I picked them up, it seemed like Buddy wanted to stay longer! I am confident that my guys are being provided excellent care and have already booked another stay. It's so nice to know they are safe, happy and well-tended! Thank you D & D!”

“Julie took wonderful care of our precious Penny sending lots of daily pictures and updates ! Penny became a part of her family for twelve days. We will definitely use her again and Highly Recommend her services to everyone !”

“We had Gemma watch our small dog for the second time now and feel lucky to have found her. She is very kind, flexible and caring. Zoey can be anxious with strangers sometimes but that doesn’t seem to be the case with Gemma and her family.”

“Rowan really enjoys spending time with Jennifer and her family. Jennifer is great to work with. She communicates well and often and always sends photos/videos. I am always comfortable when I know Rowan is safe and happy with Jennifer. You know your dog is happy to be there when they are excited to be there again...that's how Rowan is when spending time with Jennifer and her family.”

“My dog has a great time with Bradley. He seemed very happy and got plenty of attention and activity. Bradley wa great in communication, genuine affection for pups. I’d definitely look to Bradley in the future for dog sitting.”

“Jade is the BEST. Our pug Ayla had a blast hanging out with her. She is very good at communicating and providing updates while we were away. We plan to rebook with her whenever we are going out of town.”

“Michael was great! He was very kind, and gave me status updates. He treated my dog like part of the family. I would recommend him to everyone and will be using his services in the future whenever he is available.”

“Tamra kept my large GSD in her home for a week and took great care of him! He’s a sweet guy but set in his ways so one never knows how he will respond to a new situation…but it was obvious immediately that he felt comfortable with her and was well cared for: long walks, play dates with dog friends, lots of social interaction. I would 100% recommend Tamra!”

“I was nervous leaving my boy since he’s never been away from home. Tianna was so kind and caring of Max. Sent me pictures and videos, updates throughout the day. Definitely will book again.”

“Diana cared for our 16 yr dog for a week. She is an excellent communicator and professional. Her home has plenty of outdoor space for him to roam free. She sent regular updates and pictures. She also is a groomer. Our pup is afraid of anyone who tries to groom him and hates water. Despite these obstacles she managed to give him a nice trim. I highly recommend Diana and will certainly hire her again!”

“My boys (older doodle and younger dachshund mix) were excited to meet Larissa and I was grateful to see that they settled in quickly. They stayed for 2 days and now I know I have somewhere that they will be safe and taken care of when I’ve got to be away. I received updates that included both pictures and actual descriptions of how things were going with them. If you are looking for a safe, loving, family experience for your fur baby, Larissa is my number one recommendation!”

“I can’t say enough kind words about Gayle and her housemate Seth! They welcomed my boys into their home on very short notice for an overnight stay and fun day of play with their sweet pup Sitka. Sitka was a peach and shared all her toys with my boys. They were like 3 peas in a pod! Gayles home is the ultimate pup set up! Very clean and organized, lots of room inside and out for everyone to run and play freely. She provided me with frequent updates and pics of the boys enjoying themselves and OH! The way they bonded with her housemate! They were so comfortable and enjoyed all the cuddle time he gave them! I was in town for work, but will be making it a point to ask gayle for watching them on future work trips. Thanks so much again!”

“Pakuna is honestly hands down the best sitter ever. This was my first time leaving my puppy for a couple of days and was very nervous about leaving my puppy but Pakuna reassured me that everything will be ok and that my pup would have a blast. Our pup loved being with her and her pitty. Highly recommend booking her!”

“Wendy was wonderful! I have never left my cats and not worried about them. Wendy had things completely covered. We were able to enjoy our time away knowing our felines were in amazing hands. One of our cats that does not do well with strangers became besties with Wendy’s young assistant. I was flabbergasted!”

“Emily was awesome! I was super nervous because I had never had someone watch my dog before but she took great care of my high energy dog while I was gone. Will definitely schedule again sometime!”

“McKenna was great to work with. We had a meet and greet and it went great. Our cats walked up to her and were very comfortable. One of our cats, Sonya, is very shy and with a couple of visits McKenna had her doing flips in the air with the feather on a string toy and sitting next to her. In case you are wondering how I know I have a cat cam in the front room. The next time we need a cat setter McKenna will be on the top of our list.”

About: I've had cats throughout my childhood and adult life, and I've lived with cats more often than not. What I love about cats is how varying their personalities are, and they are so unique in that sense because you often times cannot tell what they're going to be like as an adult when they're a kitten. If I had it my way, I'd be sleeping with cats in my bed every night.
About: I was raised in a dog and cat household and loved taking care of them. For the brief time in my adulthood that I did not have a pet, I would dog/cat sit for a various families often. I am fond of elderly dogs/cats and have taken care a few (including giving medications, shots, cooking specific diets, etc). I am also comfortable feeding farm animals such as horses and mules. I work full-time from my home allowing flexible time to play and care for animals. My outings are usually quick errands around town so my pets get a lot of dog mom time! I am available to do longer stays given that I work remote and love making pets feel safe and comfortable whilst their owners are away. I have a fenced-in yard and 2 friendly dogs (lab and border collie mix) to keep your furry loved one company! I also play music often for myself and for the dogs. I find it helps soothe some anxiety for them as well!

“Tori was caring and good to my dogs while I was across the country. She would send cute photos of my fur babies having fun. I am already booking her again for my August 2nd travels!”

“Trevor was so good with our animals! We will be hiring him again. He is great at communicating and did a great job with all the pet care needs we require. Definitely recommend him!”

“Imani did a great job communicating, taking care of my cat's basic needs, as well as providing affection and play time. I always hate leaving my cat, Shrimply, when I go on a trip because she gets bored and anxious when she's alone. Imani helped me feel more at ease knowing someone was giving Shrimply some love!”

“Tamra was great with my kitty who is not very social. I was nervous that Punkin would be afraid and hide while I was away, but she took to Tamra and her home right away. I received a picture text within 5 mins of leaving her all snuggled and settled in! Tamra sent me pictures of Punkin throughout her 4 day, 3 night stay which put me at ease. I would definitely use here again.”

About: I grew up surrounded by kittens and cats! My grandma and mom were crazy cat ladies lol. I have a Siamese cat named Mochi! I rescued him as a kitten. He was found in a trash can covered in fleas, worms, and could barely keep his eyes open from excessive mucus. I spent every 5 minutes cleaning his eyes, treated his fleas/worms, showed him love, and trained him. He’s now an indoor kitty and he will be loved for the rest of his life! He’s my little cuddle buddy💛 I’m a very empathetic, responsible, and active person! I’m available to play and always down for some cuddles from some fur babies :)

About: I love the way that cats are they're very unpredictable One minute they're all happy and praying the next minute they're jumping on top of your head, I like that about cats I love to play with them too they're so fun. I got my first cat when I was 6 years old her name was precious I'll never forget her it was the best day of my life I think all animals including cats are precious.

“We brought our dog to Whitney’s house for three days while we were in the area for work and she took great care of him! If we are ever back in the area again and need babysitting we will definitely bring our puppy back. Thanks Whitney!”

About: I have been around dogs and cats since before I could walk! I started pet sitting for my neighbors when I was a kid and have spent most of my life helping out my friends and family with their pets. I am a huge animal lover and also very active! I often pet sit for my friends and love to take their dogs on walks and runs. I live in Albany with my cat, Bill, and work from home a lot so I have lots of availability and would love some more dog time in my life! I work from home four days a week (wednesday’s i am in office) so i have a lot of availability to spend time with your dog! I am also an active runner and walker, so I can get your pup outside and get out energy if that’s what they need, or we can cuddle up inside and play or hang out :) I live in a spacious two-bedroom apartment with lots of grassy areas and walking paths around. I do have a cat, he gets along well with dogs, but your pup would need to be okay with cats! I have a very gentle approach to dogs and respecting their boundaries is so important to me. Depending on what you prefer for your dog, they are free to roam my apartment and be on furniture, unless you prefer them not to be! I have some experience training so if you’re in the middle of building habits, i will adhere to those practices :)
“Catrina was great! Our dog was a little anxious at first but Catrina managed it really well and sent us updates and photos through the day which was so appreciated! Definitely would use Catrina again when we’re back in town.”

“Zuri is an exceptional sitter, I’m so thankful to found her, she’s always been sweet and kind to reply and take care of my big boy. I’m sure my puppy is always happy to be at her house. She takes some adorable pictures and videos and send it to me. An amazing sitter that I love!!”

Responsible, professional service. Highly recommend!”

About: I've been an animal lover as long as I can remember. When I was 9 years old, my Dad got me my first Golden Retriever for Valentine's Day 1998. Her name was Star. I wanted a Golden because I fell in love with Shadow from "Homeward Bound". Star was my best friend, and we trained together in Canine Good Citizenry and agility. She could jump through hula hoops, over my arm, and she knew all sorts of tricks. I also love horses and used to spend summers and spring breaks on my cousin's farm in Apopka, Florida where she was the Barn Manager for a gal who rode in the Irish Olympics for the Equestrian Team. I had my own horse when I was younger, but we sadly had to sell her when my mother passed away when I was 9 years old. I've had dogs and cats off and on my entire life, but sadly, I just recently moved to Oregon and do not have any pets of my own right now for a few reasons: The first is that I'm working diligently to get established in Oregon and currently have a Mon-Thursday schedule with the City of Salem that requires me to be away from home for over 10 hours a day. Second, my roommate has a sick and aging cat who is not doing well, and we do not want to stress him out by adding pets to the house right now. Hopefully, my roommate will be able to reconsider when things change, but for now, Bok Choy (and his comfort) is our main priority at my house. Third, I'm hoping to move my Dad out to Oregon within the next 3 years, but for now, he is living alone as a retiree in Georgia, where I grew up. He is very attached to our dog Hank, and even though I'm definitely Hank's favorite person, I couldn't stand the thought of separating those two because I felt like my Dad needs Hank more than I do as Hank is his reason to get up in the morning! I miss Hank more than words can express, but I think we made the right call because Hank does not like being alone, and Dad can accommodate this as he is retired whereas I am in the main career years. I have previous dog sitting experience, but sadly, my identity was hacked, and I lost all of my photos on my Facebook account and lost many of my contacts through my old email address that I lost access to. I have also done amateur dog training and hope to get a professional certification in dog training within the next 12 months. I am happy to house sit during my work week if you only have cats that need tending after office hours. I won't be accepting house sitting for dogs unless there is an understanding of my work schedule and the dog has access to a doggy door and a yard or puppy pads are used during the day. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who can be with your dog during the business day instead of requesting me if you have dogs and need assistance during my work week (Mon-Thurs). This is a Side Hustle for me, but it also the more meaningful of my jobs because I love animals more than anything else in this world, and being around them is good for my mental health. I currently work Monday-Thursday until 4:30PM so it will be difficult for me to provide overnight dog sitting until Thursday after 5 PM unless your dog has access to a doggy door or puppy pads. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who does this full time if you need assistance during business hours Monday-Thursday. When I am at your house, your pet is my priority. If they need exercise or stimulation, we will make that happen. I will almost feel guilty for getting paid for it because it will literally be my pleasure. I will ask you to leave detailed instructions that will make my life easier and expect you to extend trust to me to do my job well. I understand it is difficult and that trust is earned and not freely given, but we need to have a clear discussion before you leave about what your expectations are so I can decide If I can meet those in a way that will not cause me undue anxiety. If you need someone after 5PM Mon-Thursday or anytime on the weekends, I am your sitter!
About: I understand what it’s like to need a last minute resort for animal care, so I’d love to help without needing much notice in advance! I have pet sit & owned my own animals since middle school. I currently have a 1 year old dog named Wesley & he is very hyper so I also understand all levels of pets. I have worked with vet techs at customer service jobs, and have house sat for people with dogs/cats needing extra care medical, physical, or environmental wise. I’m currently a part time worker, who has a lot of free time for the next couple months. I love exercising so taking animals on walks would be so fun for me. I am an early riser & a night owl so i’m open to all times of needed help. I understand the ideas that everyone knows their own pets the best, so anything you need specifically done I would love to help you. I’ve house sat for people for years, and have always loved meeting new pets! I’m not scared of animals in any way, and understand the wide range of personalities, triggers, and behaviors!
About: I was born and raised on a ranch caring for many types of animals. I have extended my background from cows, horses and sheep to training, breeding and so much more with dogs. About: I have lifelong experience caring for animals of all kinds! I grew up on a farm, where caring for horses, livestock, and other animals was simply part of everyday life. Today, I continue that passion by fostering dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens through my local humane society, giving animals a safe, loving place to grow and thrive until they find their forever homes. I also have experience caring for small animals such as guinea pigs and rabbits, so whether your family includes four hooves, four paws, or tiny whiskers, they'll be in capable hands. As a teacher, I'm patient, dependable, and attentive to routines and individual needs, and I know every animal has its own personality. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or needs a little extra care, I'll treat them like they're part of my own family and keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can relax while you're away. My schedule is very flexible, allowing me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, medication, or simply keeping them company, I enjoy making animal care a natural part of my daily routine and ensuring each pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable. Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide consistent, attentive care in a calm, loving environment. You can also expect regular updates and photos, so you'll always know your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away.

About: What sets me apart is the combination of experience, intuition, and calm presence I bring to every animal I care for. I’ve trained my own husky from puppyhood and lived with cats my whole life, so I understand a wide range of behaviors and needs. I don’t rush animals—I read their cues, build trust, and adjust to their comfort level. Whether it’s a long walk or quiet company, your pet will get thoughtful, grounded care that helps them feel safe and understood. Caring for animals is already part of my everyday life. My own husky keeps me on a steady rhythm of walks, play, and feeding, so adding more pets into that flow feels natural. I plan my day around their needs—morning exercise, midday check-ins, and relaxed evening wind-downs—so your pet’s routine will fit smoothly into mine. I care for pets in their own home the same way I care for mine—with respect, consistency, and calm energy. I follow your instructions closely to keep their routine familiar and stress-free. That means keeping feeding times, walks, and play sessions on schedule, giving plenty of attention, and leaving your space as neat as I found it. My goal is for your pets to feel safe and relaxed until you’re home again.

About: I've taken care of pets basically my whole life, especially cats, and I've also had a dog for a couple years. I'm always the first person my friends and family call when they need help with their pets. I stay well read on what's good for animals, from training to helping with anxiety, and I'm always willing to go the extra mile to make sure a pet is happy. They're living creatures who deserve just as much happiness as we do. In terms of training, I've helped a cat retrain to use the litter box after it regressed due to anxiety, working through the root cause rather than just the behavior itself. I've also reduced aggression in animals through consistent training. I'm willing to stick with things for a long time and stay consistent, especially when it's for the betterment of the animal. My life is quite flexible, so pet care fits easily into my routine. I prefer jobs where I'm able to stay in charge of how the work gets done, since that's when I feel like I can give my best contribution. That flexibility means I can adjust to a pet's needs rather than squeezing them into a rigid schedule. When I'm caring for a pet in their own environment, I make sure to respect their space and routine completely, from where they're allowed to go to how they're used to being handled. I pay close attention to safety details like doors, gates, and anything that could be harmful to them, and I adapt to whatever setup the home already has in place.

“I recently got a puppy and booked an hour with Erica as part of his socialization process, to get him used to spending time with strangers. Erica and her daughter did an amazing job and I could tell Raider warmed up to both of them right away and felt very comfortable. It’s SO important for young puppies (especially giant breeds) to have positive experiences with new people. Thanks for helping to make sure I don’t wind up with a 120lb dog that’s afraid of people 🤣🖤Very much appreciated! 100% recommend”

“Arielle was amazing!!! This was our first time ever leaving our fur baby with anyone other than family! She made us feel so at ease & remained in contact with us throughout his stay! She sent us pictures so we could see how he was doing & it looked like he was on vacation!!! She accepted him last minute & he came home so content & exhausted from his playtime! We have definitely found Opi’s home away from home!!! If you’re looking for an awesome sitter for your fur baby, look no further!!!”

“Connie took lots of pictures and was careful to follow all of my instructions. She took the time to meet our dog ahead of hosting him and was very easy to work with. Very responsive.”

“Thanks Chelsea and family! Mia loved it at your house. I appreciated your extra effort to understand my dog and her unique needs. You went out of your way to make sure she was comfortable and had fun at your house. See you again soon!!”

“Tienne was a life saver! She took care of my puppy last minute and was even able to keep him later than I originally scheduled when an event ran over. He was happy and tired when I picked him up! I felt very at ease leaving him with her.”
