While we have crate-trained our dogs when they first came to our home, typically once they show that they can use the doggie door to go outside, we have given them free roam of the house and yard except for bedrooms. We keep the crate available when a dog wants to isolate themselves or they need a timeout. We are happy to give quiet time to the dogs in the middle of the afternoon especially after a snack and/or a walk. Our home has a doggie door that can accommodate a large dog and that gives the dogs freedom to go outside on their own. Finally, we have boarded and watched over our children’s dogs for many years when we lived in CA. We would be happy to board and walk your dog and give you the peace of mind that we have enough experience and temperament to insure your dog has a good time at our house. My wife and I are home full time as we are both retired. While we enjoy our walks and our gym time, we have plenty of time to watch over and play with your dog. I am available for drop in visits and dog walking 7 days a week! Monday through Friday I am available after 1pm, weekends I’m open all day for your furry friends! I treat all clients animals as if they were my own. They are cared for very well while clients are gone away from the home. Lots of love, play time, and just hanging out. If wanted by clients, dogs are regularly walked and exercised (I’m a hiker so am happy to take them to do outdoor hikes as well) along with regular care as if their parents never even left. I try to keep a relatively realistic schedule and life for animals while parents are gone so that they don’t have much stress when parents are away.
About: Here’s some Info about me: I am 18, graduated class of 2025, currently just trying to start my life and figure out my goals and ambitions. I’ve grown up around all sorts of animals, also including farm animals and reptiles, I have also helped facilitate 3 Labrador litters. About: I stay VERY BUSY petsitting, because I have several regular clients I Petsit, house sit, clean and organize for 16 years. Only sweet loving breeds of dogs, and all cats, chickens, goats, horses, koi,and pet squirrels! I have Virtual work that I can do while I'm Petsitting and housesitting. Also if I am hired to clean or organize a home while I'm Petsitting, that works out really well I care for pets in their own home to minimize their anxiety while their moms and dads are away. I make them feel as comfortable as they can be by sticking to their routine.
About: I have done pet sitting for over 5 years which include boarding, housesitting and dog walking. I have also cared for cats, chickens, exotic birds and baby goats (bottle fed). I have cared for elderly pets, seizure pets and have no problem with giving medications. ****If you are requesting housesitting, I do have a small easy-going chill dog that likes to come with me if you are ok with that. He gets along with all dogs and cats alike. I do request that we have a meet and greet prior so as to ensure you are comfortable with me in your home and with your pets. I work remotely during the day. So I would be with your pet(s) for the majority of the day. They would only be left alone a few hours on occasion for errands/appointments and such. So they would get plenty of potty breaks, love and attention while you are away. I will care for you pet(s) per your instructions. While at my house they will be allowed on furniture and my bed for extra cuddle time. They will be given plenty of walks and playtime!
About: I have a lot of love for animals. I am interested in dog walking or taking care of dogs/cats when you just need a little vacation to yourself or a busy day ahead! I have two years of experience with dog sitting. I have taken dogs on walks, stayed over night at the owner's home, fed them, play with them, and clean up after them when they have accidents. About: I have had dogs my whole life as well as cats and a few other random buddies. I currently own 3 dogs and 3 cats so I know they need love and attention many times a day just like a kid, and I will treat them like I treat my own loved ones. I currently do gig work full time and thus have a fully open schedule. I am able and willing to be there for your animals and house needs at any given hour. Anika took care of my golden retriever, Baron, over the weekend while I was out of town. Baron and I met her before our trip and I could tell that my dog was immediately at ease in her home. The house is very clean and cute and Anika and her family are warm and welcoming. There is a fenced in front yard with grass for Baron to play and get some exercise. About: As you consider if you want to trust your “fur-baby” to us, you should know that my wife Kathy and I have been involved with dogs for more than 40 years. We give cuddles and pets as needed and encourage our dogs to be friendly to all that visit. Our first dog and the subsequent 6 dogs we have kept as family members were all rescue dogs. We have experience with Border Collies, Corgis, Mixed Breeds, German Wired-Haired Pointer and American Brittany dogs. We have been active in the American Brittany Rescue organization since 2011 having placed more than 16 dogs in forever homes including 4 Brittanys that we have kept for our family. While we have crate-trained our dogs when they first came to our home, typically once they show that they can use the doggie door to go outside, we have given them free roam of the house and yard except for bedrooms. We keep the crate available when a dog wants to isolate themselves or they need a timeout. We are happy to give quiet time to the dogs in the middle of the afternoon especially after a snack and/or a walk. Our home has a doggie door that can accommodate a large dog and that gives the dogs freedom to go outside on their own. Finally, we have boarded and watched over our children’s dogs for many years when we lived in CA. We would be happy to board and walk your dog and give you the peace of mind that we have enough experience and temperament to insure your dog has a good time at our house. My wife and I are home full time as we are both retired. While we enjoy our walks and our gym time, we have plenty of time to watch over and play with your dog. We have a fenced yard and 2 friendly dogs (age 7 & 10) to keep your fur baby company. We can crate your dog if needed and would prefer that your dog be able to take themselves into the yard to go potty once they learn to use the doggie door.
“Linda was FANTASTIC! My wife and I am very protective of our French Bulldog, Penny. We rarely leave her alone and never for 9 days. But we had a vacation cruise booked and had to find a sitter for Penny. We were both very nervous leaving her anywhere for so long. But Linda put us to ease after meeting her and touring her home. She has a large backyard and I personally walked the perimeter (twice!) carefully looking for any holes or places a small dog could weasel out. It's secure! One thing we really appreciated was that Linda works from home and was with Penny the entire time. We got updates and pictures daily and that helped us relax and enjoy our vacation. Penny got lots of love and attention and care. Most important to us, she was safe. Thank you Linda! We will be back.”

I completed extensive veterinary technology education while working full-time in a large, multi-department veterinary hospital, gaining years of hands-on experience with animals ranging from healthy puppies and routine-care patients to senior, hospitalized, post-op, and medically complex dogs. My experience includes oral and injectable medication administration, incision and wound care, mobility assistance, post-operative monitoring, and incontinence-related care. I would not leave a pet unattended while I am responsible for their care. We have a fully fenced backyard and maintain a clean, organized, and uncluttered home and outdoor environment. With a five-month-old puppy of our own, our home is consistently kept pet-safe, with unsafe or inappropriate items secured and inaccessible. I am also careful and deliberate when managing interactions between animals and never assume unfamiliar dogs can simply be left together unsupervised. Introductions, outdoor access, feeding, and shared spaces are appropriately supervised, with the safety and comfort of each individual pet remaining the priority. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I maintain the same standard of supervision, respect for their environment, and attention to safety.
