About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats growing up along with a few non traditional animals. My current pup is my world and I treat her like my child as she is one of my main priorities. I’ve always said “if you respect them they respect you”, and that is my philosophy which has never let me down. I look forward to meeting all of your furry extended family members! I currently work from home 5 days a week and am available for walks during am/pm with endless potty breaks in between. I have a dog park next to my apartment as well as a back yard which allows for your pet to get fresh air and stretch I have one small pup who loves to play and super friendly with other small/medium dogs. I like to give them space to play, let out energy and I do provide snacks if approved by owner of course. Pets will be able to roam freely unless I leave the house. I prefer if pets are crate trained and are accustom to it. Pet is allowed to relax on furniture and I allow plenty of cuddles and or space if they prefer it. Play time is also a must!

About: I’ve had experience raising my puppy (Bentley, Bernedoodle) when we first adopted him as a a 2 month old. Since then, I’ve been with him every steps of the way and would love to be a tiny part of your pet’s journey :) I’m currently on break as a college student! About: My family has always had pets! Our last dog who was a Puggle (part Pug and part Beagle) named Pugsley lived for 19 years! He died a few years ago...and we miss him every day! We currently don't own any pets...because we want the flexibility to travel. I retired 2 years ago. We also had a cat named Beano...and he also lived until 19 years old. I don't necessarily have skills...except to love your pet to death! I'm currently retired and have a VERY flexible schedule. We don't own any pets right now...so it'd be really fun to have furry visitors! ROVER is really a good option because I can set my own schedule! We have a front and a backyard. About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

At this time pet sitting is my only source of income. I am available most days/times for pet care. I do have 3 young children as well two of which I drive to and from school and sports. I have a fenced yard and plenty of toys in my home for dogs to play. Even in my fenced yard I do not large dogs outside unattended.

River was able to get worn out in the backyard and have bonus leash walks. Amy sent updates, photos & video and communicated if she had any questions. We will definitely book with Amy again!”
