About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats growing up along with a few non traditional animals. My current pup is my world and I treat her like my child as she is one of my main priorities. I’ve always said “if you respect them they respect you”, and that is my philosophy which has never let me down. I look forward to meeting all of your furry extended family members! I currently work from home 5 days a week and am available for walks during am/pm with endless potty breaks in between. I have a dog park next to my apartment as well as a back yard which allows for your pet to get fresh air and stretch I have one small pup who loves to play and super friendly with other small/medium dogs. I like to give them space to play, let out energy and I do provide snacks if approved by owner of course. Pets will be able to roam freely unless I leave the house. I prefer if pets are crate trained and are accustom to it. Pet is allowed to relax on furniture and I allow plenty of cuddles and or space if they prefer it. Play time is also a must!

London was so excited to go for a walk with him and was doing his puppy run with legs flailing with so much excitement — it was just delightful to see knowing he’s been home bound for 2 weeks. About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. I also make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship so they don’t feel stressed or lonely. For walks and drop-ins, I focus on keeping pets active, safe, and happy while also giving updates to owners when needed. “Damon has been excellent. I have a high needs older dog, Nala, that requires medication and time on the couch :). Damon ensures she is comfortable & happy. It's been hard finding rovers and boarders where she comes back confident & at ease. Every time she returns from Damon's she's happy, and she's always happy to see him. We also board our puppy Ruby, who's a polar opposite from Nala with Damon. She's always happy to see Damon & has a great time running around and playing.”
