About: I grew up with dogs, cats and rabbits I’ve always truly loved animals and spending time with them, taking care of them, giving them all the love and attention they need/deserve. Mainly throughout the years I’ve taken care of cats more and sometimes a few dogs. I’m more fond of cats and know how to give them what they need and when they need space or food I can understand quickly. I’m always happy to care for dogs though especially since it’s fun to go on walks, have playtime with them. I will try my best to make sure every pet feels safe, content and happy with me I currently work part time at the Moda Center and it’s but only twice or once a week so I have most days off and so much free time so I really want to keep busy as much as possible and help people out in the process! I’d like to say I’m an observant person and very caring aswell, I tend to check in a lot even if it’s not needed and keeping track of when pets need to be let out, feed, given medication, any of the sorts im right on time. I also give pets time to adjust to me before jumping into touching them, I like to let them come to me first to make them feel comfortable if they are shy. If they are messy i don’t mind cleaning up a mess/cleaning up poop/pee

About: My family has always had pets! Our last dog who was a Puggle (part Pug and part Beagle) named Pugsley lived for 19 years! He died a few years ago...and we miss him every day! We currently don't own any pets...because we want the flexibility to travel. I retired 2 years ago. We also had a cat named Beano...and he also lived until 19 years old. I don't necessarily have skills...except to love your pet to death! I'm currently retired and have a VERY flexible schedule. We don't own any pets right now...so it'd be really fun to have furry visitors! ROVER is really a good option because I can set my own schedule! We have a front and a backyard. We are not fenced...so if they are outdoors then I'll be sure to be with them...and make sure they are leashed.

“We feel so lucky to have found Damon to care for our mini Australian Labradoodle, Bruno. We've had one overnight and one full day with him so far, and we’re already booked for a longer nine-night stay—without hesitation. From the start, Damon impressed us with his calm, confident presence and genuine love for dogs. He took the time to understand both our dog’s needs and our concerns—especially my anxiety about leaving Bruno, who’s still young and very much believes he’s a big dog in a smaller body. Damon was incredibly responsive, sending beautiful photo updates and clear communication throughout the stay. Bruno had the best time playing frisbee, going on walks, and socializing with other dogs—including a sweet Great Dane! But Damon managed the dynamic beautifully, making sure every dog felt safe, engaged, and respected. He clearly understands dog behavior and creates a balanced environment where pups of all sizes can thrive. It also meant the world to us that Damon noticed what a special little guy Bruno is.
