“Susie is the best!! She tool such loving and warm care of our boy!! I would trust her with our dog anytime. She sent photos and messages every day....he was so happy and at home. Absolute perfection. Thank you Susie!!”

“Jean was very kind and helpful. I was nervous leaving my puppy for the first time (I spent a long time making a decision and even visited other homes), but I felt comfortable leaving him there and I think he had lots of one on one time and was not alone very much. She seemed to really enjoy her time with my puppy (who is a bit of a handful despite his size). She checked in with photos every day. They went for lots of walks and play time and he seemed very well cared for overall. She even dropped him off for me as I was getting in on a late flight. She is obviously a loving, fun person and enjoys dogs a lot. I would recommend her to other dog owners. Thanks Jean!!”

“Kristopher is awesome! I picked up my pup both excited and tired, which is a great sign that he had a lot of fun. Kristopher sent plenty of pictures throughout the stay and kept me updated on all the fun activities and playdates. He was also very understanding and flexible when unexpected travel delays resulted in a late pickup, which I really appreciated. Looking forward to working with him again!”

“What an amazing individual and her little doggie, Zoe. Marybeth is super casual, interested, caring, and flexible. She understands pets and their importance. I loved her tree-lined neighborhood and the HUGE fenced backyard available for my little pupper to play. I've decided Marybeth's the one to trust with my little pup, Mia.”

“Shari took such good care of our pup! She texted me multiple times a day to let me know how our pup was doing with pictures and videos. Overall Shari was very communicative and always made me feel like our dog was in good hands. We will definitely leave our pup with Shari again! Highly recommend!”

“Leslie was flexible given all the craziness going on with flying these days and this was so so appreciated. Bo was very happy in her home and came back happy, healthy, and ready for another stay! Plan to stay again over the holidays!”

“Our little senior doxie, Rocky, spent 2 weeks with Barbara and we couldn’t be more happy with how it went! Barbara gave him lots of love and cuddles, and they spent some time watching Dodger baseball together. Rocky can’t wait for the next time he can spend time with Barbara 😊”
“Perla had a great time with lots of play! Elizabeth has a nice big home with lots of room to run around both inside and out. Her dog Lilo and Perla got along really well. We'll definitely be a repeat customer.”

“Our small dog, Bijou recently spent her first overnight with Jamie and Nicole. They were very welcoming to Bijou and us. They took excellent care of her. She almost didn't notice us when we came to pick her up. I take that as a good sign that she was feeling right at home. We feel totally comfortable leaving Bijou with Jamie, and will be taking her back for a longer stay soon.”

“Samantha and Brian’s family watched our Wheaten Terrier for two weeks. They kept us updated with photos and we knew he was in good hands. Thanks for giving Charlie lots of snuggles while we were away.”

“I was in dire need for someone to watch my dog Tanner. Amanda and her family excepted him for me at the last minute. He did very well at there place, and I am very confident that he will continue to do well there, as I will continue to bring him to there house Thank you again for all your help and support.”

“Nadine took great care of our dog, Rosco while we were away for a long weekend with family. He got to play outdoors a lot more than he does at home, and with other dogs, too. It was his first time boarding anywhere and he was a little nervous but Nadine is a dog whisperer and gave him what he needed to settle in. She also introduced him to her cat; a creature he had little knowledge of, but had admired from afar. Rosco wanted to chase her a little bit but Nadine was able to talk him out of it. She took lots of pictures for us. Good ones! Rosco is usually either asleep or in motion, so he’s not the best photographic model. We’re homebodies, but if we go somewhere again, Rosco will stay with Nadine.”

“noemi was so great with my dog while i was away! she really understood how to take care of a senior dog, was flexible about letting him go out, sent many pictures of him while i was away; and he seemed very calm and content when i went to go pick him up after my trip. i highly recommend her!”

“She is very lovely and caring person, and she took care of our dog very well. Roseinda was sending a lot pictures of our dog and making sure he is getting well taking care. Thank you for your great service, we appreciate that!”

“Julie took care of my dachshund for a week. It was like he was home with us. Julie works from home and takes walking breaks. She welcomed Walter into her home like he was her dog. She quickly learned his idiosyncrasies. He was happy to see me when I picked him up and comfortable with Julie. She used excellent judgment when he got into something he wasn’t supposed to (soap on the bathtub edge). She sent me photos of him during his stay and reassured me he was fine so I could fully enjoy my trip. She has an excellent home for small dogs with a backyard and home near a park for walks. I’m so grateful to have found her. And will be recommending her to my friends with small dogs and to you readers looking for a caring and responsible dog sitter.”

“Nancy is so wonderful - a safe and loving temporary home for our very special little guy. We not only felt comfortable knowing Nancy was giving Teddy the best care, but also that they were probably both enjoying each others company while we were away. Teddy came home in one piece and was his same normal, happy self. Thank you so much for opening your home to Teddy, Nancy - we hope for more visits soon!”

“Veronica was great with our two dogs. She has a calming manner and our nervous border collie when away from home appeared totally at ease in the sweet photos that she sent us. And I’m sure our husky enjoyed playing with her huskies. They all made a good pack. 😊”

“Peter was wonderful!!! He was very thoughtful and kind. My pup can be a little shy but she loved hanging out with Peter, family and pups! Thanks Peter!!!”

“I had a wonderful experience with Summer checking in and visiting my young and shy kitty Casper! She was always on time or early, and her communication was and is excellent. She sent updates with pictures and videos, and I had total peace of mind knowing Casper was in good hands while I was away. She is so wonderful, she brought little gifts and treats for Casper! I trust and recommend Summer, and I would definitely book her again in the future! 🫶🏼”

“Shianne was professional, friendly, prompt, and flexible! I was very nervous about being away from Baby for so long and I felt so much better after meeting Shianne. She was attentive to Baby’s care instructions and was gracious when I changed or added tasks last minute. I looked forward every day to seeing Shianne’s pics of my Baby and her descriptions of his mood and behavior. Shianne truly cares about the animals she cares for ?”

“Kaylee was amazing! She spent time with our kitties, played with them, fed them, and even gave them treats that her cat didn’t love. She was a clear communicator and reliable! We’d have her watch our cats any time!”

“This is the second time Kristen has cat sat for us and we are so grateful! She knows their personalities SO well and was able to break through with our shy cat Sunnie which is a rarity. She did an awesome job with communication and helped when Sunnie was upset and left some #2’s and a couple of hairballs. She gave a lot of pets and snuggles to our fluffy ham, Murf. I can’t really imagine having someone else watch them when we’re out of town now.”

“Maya is friendly, thoughtful and communicative. She wrote detailed and entertaining reports about my wacky cat each day. Simone was in excellent hands. I would definitely book her again!”

“Erin is absolutely great! My cat is VERY shy (he was a rescue cat), and he loved Erin right away. She is so good with him, and he recognized the cat lover in her. I would recommend Erin without hesitation!”

“Julie did a fantastic job of watching our two cats over the holidays! Great communication and photos of the cats. Our trip was unexpectedly extended by 5 days and Julie kindly continued to care for our cats until we got home. We highly recommend Julie and hope to use her again.”

“Thank you so much Katie for caring for my fur babies in short notice and during a holiday season!! Thank you again for being there for them! I look forward to having your assistance again in the future!”

“Damita did a great job with our two kitties! It was just a quick overnight, but the house was very clean and our kitties were taken care of. I would definitely rebook in the future!”

About: I've spent years caring for cats and currently have three of my own, so I understand that every cat has a unique personality and routine. I'm experienced with feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, brushing, administering oral medications when needed, and giving cats the patience and space they need to feel comfortable. I know how important it is to keep cats on their normal routine while their owners are away, and I'll make sure your cat receives plenty of attention, affection (if they want it!), and quality care. Whether your cat is playful and social or shy and independent, I'll take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. As a pet owner myself, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your cat in someone else's care. I'll treat your pet with the same love, respect, and attention that I give my own cats.

“I’ve used Karly now three times as my cat-sitter while away to take care of my two cats, and just recently, for two weeks while out of the country. She’s great!! She makes sure my two babies are well taken care of - she’s gotten to know both of their personalities and tends to both of their needs (one’s playfulness and the other’s snuggles/pets)! She goes above and beyond and also considers me and the house while gone out of the country (by taking out the trash on trash day for example). She’s also a great communicator and I feel at ease trusting her to take care of both my cats and my home while away!”

About: Since I’ve been old enough to remember, I’ve been around animals. I have cared for dogs and cats of all kinds for years. Friends and family have trusted me to care for their pets while they were out of town or busy. I can do a multitude of tasks from bathing to walking! I work 7-3 daily, which leaves me plenty of time each day to play with your pets! I love walking- I even walk my dog two miles every morning! There is always time in my schedule to play with pups! I live in Milwaukie so I can easily access most of the Portland area! While caring for your pet, I will ensure I keep a close eye on them while they are outside. I love going on walks and being outside. So, most likely we will catch me and your fur baby anywhere but under a roof!

“Our dog’s go-to baby sitters! Donny loves coming here for daycare and boarding and he is always so tired when he comes home. I always receive the best update photos and he always looks like he’s having the greatest time! Hannah is also very accommodating with all of my last minute bookings and I get responses very quickly. Thank you so much for taking such great care of Donny!”

“Kristopher was awesome taking in our puppy who had not stayed at daycare before. We had previously tried to take him in to a daycare facility but he was so scared, he would not go in since there were so many loud dogs there. He absolutely loves Kristopher and is always so excited to see him each day we drop him off. One day our puppy got muddy while in his care and he even gave him a bath! We will keep going to Kristopher for doggy daycare as long as he lets us! Thank you so much for being so awesome!”

“Awesome experience! Susie was super quick to respond and very flexible with my timing. She sent pictures with updates and kept me informed while I was gone. My dog was happy and tired when I picked him up after the day.”

“Tommy provided great support for our puppy while I was on a long vacation. We appreciated his flexibility and thoughtfulness when it came to balancing her needs and wants.”

“Sequoia took very good care of our anxious pup to make him feel right at home. She provided great photos and thorough details from the day. We will gladly have our Bruce stay with her again!”

“Hi, We just had our sweet girl, Annie, stay with Allison for several hours. My husband found her cleaned up, seemingly secure, contented and nicely tired (I think the dogs will be good friends). We’d love to connect again and will let Rover know soon. Thank you!!!”

“Another awesome day with Damon and his doggos. Uki always leaves so tired and happy. She’s still tired the next day and has really blossomed in her social skills.”

“Maggie is the first sitter I used on Rover and I am definitely going to utilize her services again. She cares for each pet as if it were her own. My dog absolutely loved Maggie's spacious backyard.”

“Allen was very responsive from the time I booked a meet & greet to when he took care of my dog, Kau Kau. He also was very patient with her since she does have some separation anxiety and I appreciated that very much. I definitely would recommend Allen as a doggy daycare option. Thanks.”

“Amy, Eric, and Finley made our girl Riley feel like part of the family! She got a great long walk and then got to relax and snuggle for the rest of the evening. They paid close attention to her and accommodated her personality, quirks, and even a few nervous farts 😅 We really appreciate it!”

“We are new to the area and are so thankful to have found Julie! She sent pics of our baby throughout his stay and kept us updated with how he was doing. When we picked George up, we could tell he had such a great time! We will definitely be booking Julie again. We felt that George was safe and cared for with Julie. ❤️”

“This was our 1st time leaving our 2 dogs with Roxie. A great experience. The dogs had a great time. Lots of photos through out the day, which we appreciated. Highly recommended. Excellent care.”

“It’s clear that Christopher and his family genuinely love dogs! He is easygoing, an excellent communicator, and incredibly accommodating. Mason felt comfortable right away and absolutely loves going to doggy daycare at Christopher’s. We have complete peace of mind knowing he’s in such caring hands.”

“Wayne has helped me out immensely the last few months with watching my dog Midge during the day and I highly recommend him! He is easy to communicate with, flexible, and very friendly. Midge is well looked after and I always pick up a happy pup.”

“Cathy was absolutely wonderful not only did she take Sheldon into her home he felt it home, but she has a nice patio and she took him out for a walk all for a four hour visit. I would highly recommend her to anyone. She’s a very loving, kind and compassionate individual to get five stars, but I’d give her six if there were six stars available. Thank you, Cathy”

“Bridgitte is always great with our little rescue dog. We always get pictures of them out taking walks, and she takes our dog out to public places like restaurants which is good for her socialization. Bridgitte is super friendly and personable, and couldn't be easier to work with.”

About: I am a huge animal lover and am very patient when it comes to caring for animals! I have had my cute orange tabby for about 7 years now and have the cutest 4 year old lab. I am dedicated to the animals around me and want what’s best for them. My husband and I love to go on adventures and can be active with any dog, if needed/wanted. I think every dog and or cat is special in their own way. We are both very flexible and easy going, and always think open communication is the best. We both grew up around dogs and cats it gives us experience on how to gently take care of them. We will make sure that your sweet four legged friend will have a blast under our roof. I work a typical 9-5, I have time in my day to drop home for potty breaks. My husband works three days a week usually starting at 3pm, so he is home most of the day! When watching others dogs, we make sure they are in safe hands! Will follow any specific directions that are given and give your pet the best time possible.
About: I have grown up with both cats and dogs in the house, even one gerbil! Friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me to care for their animals since the age of 12, and I have experience administering medication and feel comfortable with any extra care your pet may require. I am a freelancer and my last contract ended recently. I am appreciating this downtime, which means I have an open schedule to provide care throughout the day for your pets. I would like to meet your pet in their own environment to keep continuity, and am happy to set up a check-in schedule with you for updates about your pet’s day and routine, including pictures if requested.
“Shianne was fantastic! This was our second booking with Shianne and our dog was so happy to see her! Shianne has everything we would want in a dog walker - clear communication, patience and skill with dogs, warmth and professionalism. I'll definitely look to Shianne any time I can't walk my own dog in the future.”

“Stephanie was great! She gave great updates and gave me piece of mind that Blue was taken care of and got some energy out while I was at work, which ment I could come home to a little less hyper puppy!”

About: Hi there! My name is a Savannah, I am currently a guide dog mobility instructor and have been working at Guide Dogs for the Blind for 4 years. I have worked in multiple dog boarding facilities and in the animal care industry. I have had the please of working with different dog breeds over the past 4 years. I believe I am very capable at handling strong and difficult or easy going dogs. I would love to get to know your sweet pets and give them some exercise or love. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile! I work during the week on a typical schedule (M-F, 8 hours). I try to schedule most walks or drop in’s around my work hours but I am flexible! I would happily do a meet and greet to see if we would be a good fit and of course cater to any animals special needs or special characteristics!
About: I have been caring for a variety of animals since I was young. I grew up with dogs and participated in 4-H for 10 years, where I worked with and showed dogs, horses, and goats at the fair. I have also provided dog and cat sitting services on and off for many years, including walking, playing with, and feeding animals. My experience includes caring for a puppy under one year old, where I helped with potty training, as well as an elderly husky who required additional care and attention. While working at a zoo, I also regularly handled a variety of animals, including snakes, turtles, birds, armadillos, and more. Overall, I have experience with animals of all ages and needs, including puppy training and senior animal care. I am currently planning to attend school part time (online classes) so I will have plenty of time to spend with your pet(s) in between homework assignments! I have a large yard with 5-foot fencing surrounding the entire property. Depending on each pet’s needs, I enjoy taking dogs for walks around the neighborhood or on adventures such as a shorter hike or walk in a nearby park. My goal with every pet I care for is to make sure they feel comfortable, relaxed, and leave their time with me as a positive experience. I have a lot of experience reading pets’ individual needs and understanding what helps build trust and a positive relationship, whether that means treats, playtime, quality time, patience, or simply providing a calm and comfortable space.

About: Hi! My name is Melissa, and I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I currently have three cats of my own who are a big part of our family, and I previously cared for two beloved dogs for many years before I lost them to old age. Through my own pets, I've gained hands on experience with feeding, administering medications when needed, daily walks, playtime, grooming, and recognizing when something isn't quite right. In addition to cats and dogs, I also have experience caring for hamsters and reptiles, so I'm comfortable looking after a variety of pets and following detailed care instructions. As a stay at home mom, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable, attentive care. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets because I feel the same way about my own. I'll treat your pets with patience, kindness, and the same love and attention I give my own animals. Whether your pet needs drop in visits, playtime, feeding, walks, or just some extra companionship while you're away, I'd love the opportunity to help and make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m a full time stay at home parent so my availability is pretty open to check up on your fur babies. I am available anytime after 8am Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I know every pet has their own routine, so I take the time to follow your instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, litter box cleaning, and any special care they may need. When caring for pets in a client's home, I treat both your home and your pets with the utmost respect. I'll make sure your pet has fresh food and water, plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship, and I'll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I'm attentive to changes in behavior and will contact you immediately if I notice anything concerning. I believe in creating a calm, low stress environment where pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for just as they would with their own family.
About: What sets me apart is my experience, reliability, and genuine love for animals. I’ve been pet sitting since middle school and have cared for cats and dogs with different personalities and needs. I’m calm, patient, and detail-oriented, and I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. Owners have especially appreciated my communication, reliability, and the peace of mind I provide through regular updates and photos. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine because I have a very flexible schedule. I’m completely free on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and most weekends, with Thursday availability after 5 PM. This allows me to be flexible with walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. I enjoy spending plenty of time with the pets I care for rather than simply stopping by, and I’m happy to work around their routines, feeding schedules, walks, and individual needs. My availability also makes it easy for me to provide consistent care and regular updates while their owners are away. I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. In a client’s home, I follow their instructions and their pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and any specific house rules. I’m very attentive to safety and details, and I make sure pets are comfortable, supervised, and never left in an unsafe situation. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they always know how their pets are doing. My goal is for both the pets and their owners to feel safe, comfortable, and completely at ease while they’re away.
“Our dog doesn't have a lot of experience with sitters, and Allison knew just how to patiently interact with her as she warmed up to her new friend. We're also going through a house move, so our pup and cats are going through lots of change. It feels good to know that Allison brings the experience we need as an animal lover.”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life! I have a medically complex cat, so I’m very experienced with giving pills and administering medications. As a pet owner myself, I understand how stressful it can feel to be away from your pet. My goal is to care for your animal with the same attention and genuine care I give my own, so you can feel confident they’re in good hands. I’m currently a medical student at Oregon Health & Science University completing a dedicated research year, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout much of the week. Taking dogs on walks or spending time with animals has become one of my favorite ways to step away from studying, get outside, and recharge, so I’d love for your pet to join me! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special instructions before every visit. Whether I'm walking your dog or caring for your pet in your home, I make sure they have fresh water, plenty of attention, playtime, and a positive experience. I always keep cats indoors and dogs leashed unless instructed otherwise in a secure, designated area. I also provide owners with regular updates with photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

About: Nothing is more important than your furbaby’s safety and happiness. I offer dependable pet care that focuses on keeping your dogs and cats comfortable, secure, and well looked after while you’re away. For dogs, I understand leash control, situational awareness, and the value of structured walks. I’m happy to follow your handling instructions so your pet’s routine stays consistent. I have completed clicker training along with foundation and advanced canine fitness courses. For cats, I know they need gentle, calm, and stress-free care. I have experience caring for cats with different personalities and am familiar with cat behavior and body language. I provide reliable drop-in visits that prioritize your cat’s comfort and individual needs. My work as a pet photographer has given me a lot of hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all temperaments. I read their body language well and know how to help them feel relaxed and at ease in new situations. I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I’m available on weekends from 8am–4pm, and weekdays work too with at least one day’s notice. Tell me what times you’re looking for, and I’ll accommodate as much as possible. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and cat sitting services. Dogs get structured walks with time to sniff and light play. Cats receive interactive play, enrichment, and calm attention based on what they enjoy. I always follow the owner’s instructions and respect each pet’s comfort level. Feeding is included as part of your pet’s regular routine, and my focus is on keeping pets happy, comfortable, and stress-free.
About: **Please note that I am only boarding dogs that are friendly with cats at this time** I've been called a dog whisperer on more than one occasion... Ever since I was a child (look through my photos for me as a kid hanging out with my pets!), I've always been around animals. I currently live with a Goldador, Sage, and a kitty, Roo, and have been pet sitting for many years and active on Rover for eight years. I have a flexible schedule and mainly work from home, which means I have time to do walks and exercise before work, during lunch, and/or after work every day. If you are interested in a timeframe that my calendar says I'm unavailable, please still reach out. I may be able to move some things around to make it work! I own a house with a great backyard for dogs. Check out the end of my photos for details. I never leave the pups outside when I’m not home, and Sage and I like to keep a consistent schedule so that she knows when food, exercise, and downtime happen.
About: There are few things I love more than animals. Walks maybe. Or good food. All animals have a special place in my heart, and it is an honor to help care for yours. To me, animals are people too. I am currently working full-time but dedicate time every afternoon and evenings to take walks. I’m up for whatever your pet(s) need whether that means a meandering stroll in your neighborhood, a social experience in a dog park or up some hills to get the glutes working. I am always ready and willing to try new hikes and walks. I prefer care in the clients home. The pets are more comfortable at home and my job is not to disrupt the animals routine. I love learning what works for your pet and implementing that routine in a fun healthy way for your pet.
About: PLEASE NOTE: still available to be booked if you are going away for the 4th of July!! I’ve been around animals my entire life, bunnies cats, dogs and horses for the most part. I absolutely adore animals. I used to work at a doggy day care and had 140 dogs on the busiest day! Ive been dog sitting for a couple years now! I just recently hopped back onto rover due to getting a new job but with a pay cut and been meaning to start up a second job again! what better way to make some extra money then hanging out with animals ☺️☺️I live in happy Valley and work in Milwaukee , so I prefer to work around the area I live in, but I’m also happy to drive a ways away if it’s a great fit! My living situation doesn’t allow for me to have other animals in my home. I prefer to go to my clients homes for boardings, I want the animals to be in an environment that they’re comfortable and feel safe in!!

“I want to thank Heather for taking care of Mabel Mae. She shared pictures with me, let me know Mabel was having fun. She was very patient with Mabel, she is a 9 month old basset hound, so she is very active. When I reached out with a question Heather answered right away. Thank you Heather for taking such good care of my puppy!”

“Jennifer & Eric and the boys were great company for Oliver. He came home tired and that's a good sign. We appreciated the option for sitter-pick up and thank you for taking good care of our boy.”

“We were thrilled with Abby’s excellent service over the Thanksgiving Holiday. We know our dog was loved and cared for. We will definitely use her again. Thanks, Abby!!”

“Booking with Tommy was so easy and included a meet and greet to make sure your dog gets along with his sweet boy. I got lots of fun pictures and videos that helped me to feel at ease while I was on a trip. You can tell that Tommy really loves caring and working with dogs.”

“Jessica took such great care of PB while we were away! I can tell she kept him busy and active by how sleepy he’s been since coming home. He’s one happy guy, and it’s clear he had a great time with her!”

“Bonnie was a wonderful host for my anxiety-prone doggo. She went out her way to make sure Rosie was comfortable and even provided services I didn't ask for, like chopping up extra fruit and veggies when the stuff I supplied ran out. Would highly recommend and would hope to be able to use her services again!”

“Tammy was ideal as a caregiver for our elderly cockapoo. She provided reassurance with her communication and we were confident that our dog was receiving loving attention at all times. Thank you Tammy for being so wonderful with Milo!”
