About: I’ve been rescuing animals for over 22 years-I’ve cared for big, slobbery Rottweilers to tiny, judgmental cats, fish who pretend not to notice me, and guinea pigs that somehow eat like linebackers. I’ve handled rabbits with attitude, a special needs Yorkie who runs the house, and our Texas rescue Lucy—who I’m pretty sure thinks she rescued me. I have a designated bedroom with a ring camera just for my furry friends! We can keep the pets isolated in their own space the entire time, or they can have free roaming of the house. Options for those pets who need less sensory and more quiet and privacy. I work full-time at a hospital Monday through Friday, so my availability for more hands-on, all-day care is best on weekends. During the week, I’m still happy to offer overnight stays, I just like to mention that-because on weekdays, there may be up to an eight-hour stretch without potty breaks while I’m at work. I live in a fantastic walking neighborhood and can happily meet you in yours or bring them to mine. Can never get too much exercise in! Plus, my big fully fenced in yard is at their disposal.

We currently have 3 doodles & 1 frenchton of our own and have been raising doodles for the past 5 years. We love our dogs and spoil them rotten. They have plenty of outdoor space to roam as well as a play area in our garage when the weather is rainy. We initially joined Rover to host pets in our home but have quickly realized how much we enjoy drop in visits. We love visiting with your pets in their homes where they are comfortable & seeing their true personalities come out. We do host multiple dogs at a time and can only accept dogs that are friendly with others. We crate for feeding and sleeping as this is what we feel is safest in our home so your dog(s) must be comfortable in a crate for them to have a successful stay with us. Please keep in consideration our time. We plan our schedule for both the dogs and our personal lives based on what you schedule. We secure all pets prior to scheduled pick up and drop offs and like to limit the time the dogs are crated. We understand life happens but please communicate when you are going to be late or need to change your scheduled time. Additionally, it is extremely helpful if you text us when you are en route with your ETA. Thank you for helping us keep all visitors safe. We are dog people. I’m happy to throw the ball, so when you get home they’re ready for a nap. Have an older dog who just needs to stretch their legs? I’ll take them around the block a couple times with breaks and belly rubs. I frequently walked my neighbor’s mastiff mix, so no worries if your pup is more like a horse, I got it covered. I have two friendly dogs of my own. If you’re boarding, extra points for having a young puppy who likes to play. Peaches may be an old lady but she loooves to play with little ones and she is very gentle and patient. Also, I am detail oriented. If your dog needs medication, ear drops, or bandage changes - I can do that. If they have triggers or training methods you are using please let me know! I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I have two dogs who are dog friendly. I have a fenced back yard and a park nearby that’s great for taking dogs for a longer walk. The way to provide the best pet care is to listen to pet owners and take their advice and requests seriously. I try to always understand the reason and details. For example when someone says - don't give him too much water. I ask - how much is too much, will he drink it all at once and pee in the house, will he drink it too fast and throw up, does he only drink too much after exercise or eating etc. the details are what keeps pets safe.
