About: I've taken care of cats since I was little and the cat selection system when I was 12 decided we now had a cat or at the very least he now claimed the home. I always enjoy checking in on friends and families cats. I am a more recent cat dad that takes care of my little loud mouth alarm clock. I'm always ready to scoop up and clean up any messes your little munchkin leaves behind as well. Let me know if your cat has anything they would prefer me not to do to them or their space as well! About: I have been responsible for dogs ever since I was 10. I have raised four different dogs from when they were puppies to elderly. I can speak their language and an act as an expert dog body language interpreter. I am gentle enough to handle small dogs and strong enough to handle 100+ lbs ones, as well. I recently took early retirement and have flexibility to take care of your pets, whenever needed, on walks, play dates, or overnight stays at my house with my dog. I love dogs! I grew up with Old English Sheepdogs and have had two as an adult. I'm a believer in routine and consistency. My own dog, who is 8 years old, is our fur baby and gets walked 3 times a day, rain or shine. I love being outside getting exercise with him, and keeping him socialized with other dogs and people. We work from home and have two pups, Emilio Estevez and Bruce Willis. We enjoy having pups around our home and love watching them run around in the yard. 🐶 When staying with us, your pup(s) will interact with every member of our family; as well as a pup or two from other households. They will get lots of cuddles, playtime and downtime as needed. During the day, pup(s) are free to roam around and lounge anywhere downstairs, including the furniture. They also have unrestricted access to our large fenced backyard. At night time, pup(s) will sleep downstairs with our pups in their own crate or playpen. We have plenty of toys and always happy to play fetch or take them on walks around the neighborhood.

I have pets of my own so I would need the flexibility to check on my pets from time to time. Working in pet drop-ins and dog walks around my work schedule is easy. I have no problem crating your pet, keeping them off the furniture, following a strict diet, or administering medication. I live out in the country on 15 acres and have many animals. Inside the house lives a 4-year-old sweet German Short-hair pointer and 50% of the time I am watching a friend's cat. If your dog loves to run, my place would be heaven. This would only be ideal for dogs that come when they are called as there is no fencing. The other option would be that your pet stays inside and only ventures out with a leash. I have 12 acres of timber so walks in the woods are super fun!

It's always nerve-wracking to leave our dogs for an extended period of time, but I really trusted that they would be safe and happy with Katie. She was great with giving medications to our seizure-prone boy, and really understood what our dogs needed. She also sent frequent photos which was really wonderful! I would definitely recommend Katie for long-term boarding and for short dog sitting, and will definitely have my pups stay with her in the future.”

“Our pupper loved his stay with Stephanie, her husband and Aurora! I think he was on just as much of a vacation as we were! Stephanie sent photo updates every other day or so and was very responsive whenever we reached out to her. She bought treats specificly for our little one to chew on and took him on lots of walks. Aurora the husky is super sweet and was a wonderful playmate for our pup, welcoming and social, our pup who is generally pretty timid in play with other dogs, warmed up and had a grand time. Stephanie and her husband were also very flexible with our scheduling needs and accommodated us to be able to drop off and pick up our pup! We cannot recommend them enough!”
