Samantha also watered the property as needed so I wouldn’t come home to “Morticia’s garden” and while out there found a squirrel that had been blown out of his nest in a tree during a windstorm. Going above and beyond, Samantha kindly buried the poor thing in the garden. About: I've grown up around Labradors my whole life. Right now I have a yellow lab named Jasmine. She's a very high energy 10 year old dog. She's not the type of lab who likes to play fetch or even go into water. Which I feel is quite odd. The funny thing about Jasmine, she sounds like a monkey at times when she wants to come in the house. A little about me- I love being out in nature. My favorite place to walk is the beautiful Sherwood parks. I feel dog walking could be a lot of fun on my off season of my main job which is school photography. I've worked as a school photographer for 22 years. So I have a lot of patience with kids and feel I could take on any kind of dog. Right now I'm looking to fill my time walking dogs so I can get more exercise and love on many different types of dogs. I'm looking to make some extra money and take some great walks around town. About: Having grown up with both a Chihuahua and Australian Cattle Dogs, I am well-versed in dogs that need high-energy play time versus those that just need to get their zoomies out! I have taken care of senior dogs, including a miniature poodle and a long-haired Chihuahua. Our pup went 2 days and came back both days a bit overwhelmed, exhausted and especially on day 2 he was stinky and scratched up. As a one year old he may not have been able to hold his own with the larger older dogs. It seems to be a great place for larger dogs, but even my 80lb Ridgeback was overwhelmed and may have been out muscled. He tends to play hard and get clumsy. Will certainly consider in the future for booking.”

About: I’ve had a dog my whole life (Fritz and Sam, Buffy the vampire slayer and most recently Bella). We have enjoyed dog sitting since our last pup Bella passed in March 2022. I have recently changed my hours to part time at work, allowing more time to reactivate my rover account to meet new pups. I currently work part time, mostly from home. About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals of all kinds. When we got our first dog I took matters into my own hands and taught her all kinds of tricks and everything that she knows today. Most recently I pet sat a senior dog for 2 weeks giving him the attention and care that he needed. I very much enjoy going on walks especially with dogs! “We had such an amazing first Rover experience with Britney and truly could not have asked for a better person to care for our two female German Shepherds. From the very beginning, she was incredibly friendly, responsive, and communicative, which immediately helped ease a lot of the anxiety that comes with leaving your dogs with someone new. She kept us updated daily with pictures and videos of our girls playing, being goofy, relaxing, and genuinely looking comfortable and happy in her home. Those updates meant so much to us and gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Britney was also very upfront and honest with any questions or observations regarding the dogs and was always open to suggestions that could help them settle in more comfortably. One of the biggest things we appreciated was her experience with German Shepherds. You can absolutely tell she understands the breed and their personalities, energy levels, and needs since she previously owned one herself. She had toys available, a great environment for them, and also boarded only our girls without other dogs during their stay, which made us feel even more comfortable and helped reduce stress for them. She also gave us thoughtful feedback, training tips, and helpful suggestions that we genuinely appreciated as first-time Rover users and German Shepherd owners still learning along the way. It never felt judgmental, just supportive and caring. Overall, Britney went above and beyond for our girls, and we are so grateful for the care, patience, and attention she gave them. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, experienced, and genuinely caring for their pets.☺️🐾🩷”
“Angela took great care of our 10-month old rescue pup while we were away for about a week. I was nervous about leaving him since we had adopted him just barely 4 months ago and worried he'd think we were abandoning him and he can be a bit protective (barks at strangers, especially men). Angela and her family knew how to engage and handle his anxieties and keep him busy/distracted. He got so much exercise and entertainment and socialization - we couldn't be happier.”
