I have a lovely, safe walking neighborhood for dogs, a fenced yard, and everything I would need for a dog to have a cozy stay with me. I currently work 100% remote and have time during the day for walks and playtime. I have dog beds for nap time and toys for them to play with. I also own several leashes. I have a fenced yard that’s very safe. I don’t plan on watching more than one dog at a time. That way I can devote all my time to the one who’s staying with me.

My other cat, Amelia passed away naturally before Brandy was scheduled to attend to her needs. I appreciate she attempted to get a reduce rate since she was only caring for one cat, Harvey. I have to say her work was good. It was comforting knowing my one cat was being taken care of since my other cat died just prior to her scheduled time. Now that they're gone, I have an open space in my heart for time with yours. I walk and run or hike several days out of the week. I'd love to bring your well-behaved dog along for their enjoyment and my company! Because I live up a steep gravel driveway, I prefer to meet in town or at your place to take your dog for a walk or run. But if they need to come to my place for sitting, I have a fenced yard with some agility equipment. I also have a dog door, to let them have free access to my .5 acre fenced yard. I do have a cat, so if your dog comes to my place, it will have to get along with her.

I have lived with dogs my entire life, with and without fences, so I have walked dogs of all sizes and in all weather. I have experience with crate trained dogs, outside cats, outside dogs, picky eaters, weak bladders, elderly animals, puppies, kittens, and more! I care for elderly animals currently along with a kitten. Cleaning up accidents is no issue for me!
About: I was born into a house with 9 dogs. My mother has devoted her life to animal rescue and I have been helping and volunteering since I was 6. I absolutely adore animals and would love to look after yours! I’ve volunteered at numerous animal shelters at different places I’ve lived in the past and I have helped many different personalities of dogs and cats. I currently am working part-time, so I have a lot of time to spend with the babies! My schedule is flexible, so I should be able to accommodate any times or days you would need! I have been around animals my whole life and am good at being intuitive with their needs. If they are snuggle bugs, I’ll snuggle up with them! About: I was taught to learn the animal not the other way around. I love to watch animals in their habitat and to make sure they feel safe and wanted. I work part time in a pharmacy. I have 3 cats at home I care for and can’t wait to add more animals, reptiles, fish, or any other creature to my mix. I love caring for any creature in their own environment. “Review is for cat boarding. That sounds like a sport but you get the idea - my cats stayed with Kaelin, who had generous availability on short term notice. 2 cats, 6 nights, 0 problems. Kaelin is an absolute gem. Pre-stay she held a call to learn the specific needs of my cats and throughout their stay she picked up on components of their personalities I didn't even think to share. One of my girls is considerably shyer than the other, but Kaelin made consistent and ultimately successful efforts to engage each cat in a manner comfortable for them. Her patience calmed my shyer cat and her energy and thoughtfulness invigorated my more excitable/curious cat - she picked up on beneficial ways to interact with each of them that could not have been covered alone by what I shared with her pre-stay. Kaelin is clearly someone who has a profound understanding of and deep appreciation for animals, and she takes seriously how much they mean to us, her customers. Kaelin paid incredible attention to detail, was able to tailor every aspect of their stay in ways beyond what I requested, and she provided consistent updates with photos and videos of the two, often focusing on activities she intuited that I would be wondering about (How is shy Summer utilizing the space and responding to interaction? How is playful Autumn being allowed to explore and see outside? etc.). Through the way she was engaging with my girls and seeing how they, in turn, responded to her, it is so clear that Kaelin approaches her work with immense passion and care. It put me at ease throughout my entire trip, and it was clearly an excellent experience for my girls as well. Cannot recommend highly enough, will absolutely be a return customer.”
