About: I have had animals my whole life (birds, cats, dogs, etc.) and have always fed, walked, groomed, and made sure they had plenty of outside play time as well. I've taken care of family and friends animals as well taking care to follow any specific instructions they have. I've cared for puppies and kittens newly born as well. Currently my roommate has two cats and a small dog as well that I help out with when she's busy. I love animals with all my heart and would love to be chosen to care for yours! About: I have been an animal lover since a young age, and have been caring for dogs since 2011. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and all ages in between. I have experience in training my own dogs and in practicing commands as asked when puppy-sitting. I've even trained my cat to give high-fives! I also have experience in administering medication, both oral meds as well as eyedrops. Our 14 year old labradoodle gets eyedrops twice daily, which I administer. I bond easily with animals and love dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes! I love getting to know animals, and have a knack for bonding with anxious, shy animals. I am also okay with brushing and bathing, etc., as asked if needed. I am typically available all day on the weekends and most Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am in grad school for the next two years in Forest Grove and classes occur around 9am-4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I may have time for quick home visits for potty breaks during lunch on these days, if needed. I am happy to spend quiet time with pets who are more mellow, or to spend time playing or walking with energetic, younger dogs if that suits them best. I typically observe the dog's behavior and notes from the owner when deciding what to do- are they looking tired and calm? Are they a bit riled up and could use a playtime or a walk?
