And he was also comfortable staying with her. She kept me posted of how he was doing and took very good care of him. I highly recommend Christina. I would definitely use her again to watch my fur baby in the future!”

She was a life saver for me and my dog loved her, would recommend her to anyone in the Salem area.”

“Mickenzie was very quick to respond and book Miss Moose on short notice. She also sent me a few update pictures and let me know how she was settling in. Moose was in good hands with other dogs to play with and cats to hang out with (her dream situation). Overall I appreciated Mickenzie’s service and communication!”
“Our best friend, Calamity Jane, had a wonderful time with Tania. This is the longest time apart for us and Tania texted daily and sent pics and vids showing our furry pal having fun and looking happy. We're delighted with Tania, will be return customers and can recommend unconditionally.”

“Bailey had a great time staying with Dezarae at her home. I knew she was well taken care of and happy during her stay while I was on a trip. Dezarae gave me updates with photos and videos. Her own dogs got along well with Bailey. I will be using her again in the future. 🐶”

“Kathrine is an AMAZING sitter! I went out of town for 5 days and left my pup with her at her home. I immediately felt comfortable leaving her there when I dropped her off. She sent pics, videos, and updated me on all things (eating, pooping, etc.). Her dog, Ophelia, was the sweetest companion and I could tell her and my dog were besties from the pics she sent! They went on multiple walks a day, and even a weekend adventure! I will definitely be using Kathrine again in the future!”

“Philly did amazing with our GSD. He has great receiving and returning etiquette to minimize stress on the dog owner(s). It was our first time boarding our pup and she took to Philly right away. He sent us regular updates and communicated really well overall. We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience.”

“Candace is the best! She was so loving and patient with our little Maizie. I didn’t worry about our baby, even though it was her first time away from home. She had a blast at “summer camp” with new big-brother Wilbur. Maizie says she can’t wait to come back. Thank you for everything, Candace!”

About: At this point in my life, I have cared for almost any domestic, exotic or farm animal that one can run into! Time spent working with snakes and spiders in a reptile shop, working on farms with cattle, goats and chickens, and caring for everyones furry companions like cats, dogs and rodents in homes has left me feeling well prepared to handle whatever critters come our way. My remaining pet is Sharkbait, a 9 year old heeler mix, who has been the everywhere and everything dog with me for the last 8+ years. She has met all of the above animals in her time and is the ultimate friend to all. As a retired service animal, she is kind and intuitive while responding calmly to reactive animals she meets. This makes her the perfect travel companion and buddy for all your babies and she will always be with me on sitting and walking jobs as she and I like to stay very active, walking anywhere from 2-6 miles daily together. Lets chat about your animals specific needs and background! Being active is a huge part of my day and I love making sure your animals are included in that! Walks to the park and jogs around the block are my favorite way to keep your pets focus while expending that pent up energy. For homebody pets I love a good puzzle or snuffle toy to keep their minds working in their safe space. Meet and greets together as a family are priority so that when you're out of town or at work, your pet(s) can trust Sharkbait and I are there to support them. Any candid tips and tricks around behaviors or routines are welcomed.

“Jamie did drop in visits for our cat and was great. She took care of all his needs and played with him and gave him lots of pets. She was super nice and our cat who is scared of most people was comfortable with her. She was always right on time for every check in and was great with communication and photos .”

“We are glad we chose to have Heather care for our senior kitty this past weekend. Her approach to offering services through Rover was very professional. She did everything we asked, was attentive to his needs and sent lots of pictures and details about her visits with him. We plan to reach out to her for future sitter needs.”

About: Hi! I'm Shealee, and I've always loved cats. I know every cat has their own personality, so I take the time to earn their trust while making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. My love for animals led me to work as an Animal Care Attendant at an animal hospital that offered hospital care, daycare, plus boarding services. There, I cared for cats of all ages, personalities, plus comfort levels. My responsibilities included preparing meals, refreshing water, monitoring behavior, providing individual playtime, maintaining clean living spaces, plus making sure each cat was comfortable throughout the day. Working with so many different cats taught me that every feline is unique. Some love chasing toys or soaking up attention, while others simply appreciate a quiet presence that respects their space. No matter your cat's personality, I'll provide care that matches their individual needs. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your cat. I'll treat your furry family member like my own while sending regular updates plus photos, so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I can't wait to meet you and your wonderful kitty!

About: I've been called a dog whisperer too many times to count! I absolutely love dogs, cats, and other furry or feathered friends. I grew up with guinea pigs, cats, and dogs. I'm experienced in cage-cleaning, play time, giving medication, walking, and light training. I have pet-sat for several dogs, cats, and smaller friends. I highly respect any rules or training routines you and your fur babies adhere to. As long as I have clear instructions, I will stick to your guidelines. I have friends whose dogs have high-maintenance routines, and I know how awful it is when someone else interferes with those routines. I will love your pets like my own, but I will absolutely follow whatever expectations you set. I have flexible availability this summer. I am a student in an accelerated degree program for elementary education. I have July and August off, which allows me lots of time to become your pets' new bestie! I can care for pets in your home. If you are in need of any other cleaning or home services when I visit or stay at your home, that can be arranged. I also believe in leaving things better than I found them. You won't even know I was there!

“Ana accepted our request last minute and did a great job with our cats. She went above and beyond and even did an extra checkin with them and watered my plants. She even cleaned up after their mess which we didn’t require at all. I would definitely book Ana again for future visits!”

About: Cats have always held a special place in my heart. In 2019, I raised my own cat from just a few weeks old after his mother left him behind, which gave me firsthand experience caring for a very young kitten and understanding the attention and patience they require. Today, I’m a mom of a happy 11-year-old senior cat, and I recently welcomed a new kitten into my family as well. Being the pet parent of both a senior cat and a young kitten has given me experience with cats at different stages of life, from playful and energetic kittens to older cats with established routines and unique needs. I love building trust with cats and have always felt a strong connection with them. Whether your cat enjoys playtime, cuddles, or simply having a calm and caring presence around, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away
About: I have taken care of animals since I was a kid. I have experience with a wide range of dogs. Ranging from small dogs to large such as German Shepards and Great Danes all the way to chihuahuas. I take pride in having the patience in getting to know each animal and their needs. I have a calming caring demeanor and work hard to build trust with each animal. I have a lot of experience walking dogs, feeding, house sitting cats and dogs and am a go to for friends and family. I am currently working part time and would love to fill my schedule caring for your pets! After losing my lab a few years ago, I often seek opportunities to build connections with animals of all sizes and ages. Being an experienced dog sitter, I plan to show you and your pets the upmost respect. I have pet sat and walked a wide variety of dogs in a variety of homes and can insure you that your pet and your home are safe with me.

“I can't recommend Sequoyah enough, I would give 10 stars of I could! The pet sitter that I had previously hired had to cancel only a handful of days before Christmas due to a family emergency, and I was terrified that I wouldn't find someone else to watch my kitties in time. But thankfully Sequoyah came to the rescue! Best of all, he is literally one of the best pet sitters that I've ever hired. He was more than professional, sent me daily pictures, balanced multiple different feeding schedules, showered my kitties with attention, and was a wonderful house guest, going above and beyond to clean before he left. I expected my kittens to be riled up when I returned from vacation, but it was immediately apparent that Sequoyah had been regularly playing with them and had tired them out good! It was also clear that he gave my shy older cat plenty of love and attention - I usually find her camped out under a bed when I return from vacation, but this time she was soaking up sun in her favorite spot out in the open. I can hands down recommend Sequoyah for young or older cats and will definitely be asking him to house sit for me again for all my future travels!”

“She’s sweet and kept me updated on my cats! She’s answered questions I had about the process and I’ve enjoyed seeing my cats at the end of the day (even my shy baby!). I would definitely recommend Daphne :)”

“Shauna did an amazing job taking care of our cats in our home while we were away for holiday. We received videos of the cats during her visits and she provided such care for them. They received many brushing and were quite soft upon our return! We would request her care again in the future.”

“Tina was a blessing!! I feel so bad leaving my cats for long trips but she eased my anxiety so much by giving thoughtful and thorough updates and lots of cute pics. She spent additional time sitting and playing with them which means so much because I know they get lonely. They’re also having problems with some outside the litter box pooping that hasn’t been easily resolved and she graciously cleaned up the messes and even left my apartment a little cleaner than she found it. Excellent service and communication!:)”

“I'm so happy I chose Sami. Sami sent me photos every day and never judged me for all the dust under the bed, and she took excellent care of Zoomy. I have another trip coming up in January and I will definitely rebook Sami.”

“Jennifer and her family could not have been better to our pups. I wouldn't want them to be with anyone else. From early mornings to late nights.... Rebel and Dax will miss you guys!”

“Diana D. was so accommodating to take my little Harley at such short notice. When I came back to pick him up she shared with me some simple ways to help him feel more confident. Diana sent pictures throughout the day as well, which helped me get the a long meeting. Thank you again Diana.”

“I scheduled a first visit to meet Shauna and make sure our pup was a good fit. Shauna is great at communicating. She messaged prior to the visit to confirm, and helped me understand the process when I booked. My pup was still a bit nervous, so I didn’t leave her there, but Shauna was very kind, and tried to help her feel comfortable.”

“Phillip is very communicative and flexible when it comes to scheduling pickup and dropping off. My puppy came back happy and tired(yay!). I will be booking again. Thanks Phillip!!!”

“Gayle was so good with our girls. She helped them get through their nerves upon our departure and was wonderful throughout the even after some displays of poor manners early on. She sent pictures and updates that kept our minds at ease. Her setup is great for the dogs and they made themselves comfortable. Can't say enough great about her!”

“Danielle was wonderful with our shy, anxious rescue. She communicated well and asked plenty of great questions, was kind and patient, and has a calm demeanor. We weren't able to do a meet and greet in advance since I was traveling through, which made it even more impressive that my pup warmed up to her right away and relaxed so quickly. Responsible, professional service. Highly recommend!”

“Kyra has been so wonderful to work with training our 1 year old! I can tell she genuinely cares about his development and well being. She is very responsive and flexible. We look forward to continuing having her and her pups be a part of our dog’s life.”

“Honestly I was very nervous to leave my 1 year old border collie with anyone but Sandra’s profile and meeting her in person made me feel good. Now my doggie sees her Mon-Friday and she just loves going! To the point that when we get close to her house she knows where she is going and starts to wag her tail and bounce around happily. She comes back home happy and healthy and you just know she is being treated good. I honestly can’t think of a better person to watch my dog than Sandra. We love her and appreciate all her hard work!”

“I used Maylie for day boarding and some overnights for just over a month straight. I have two dogs and they LOVED hanging out with her. She was great at communicating and checking in about things she wasn't sure about my particular dogs and I could always reach her to check in! I would absolutely use her again if I needed to board my dogs”

About: Know what it's like to own dogs since childhood. Tell me what they love, like, and hate. Love to bring gifts for the dog(s) anytime. Also been a great house sitter and pet sitter for my mother in the past when she visited grandkids for a week in California. As far in advance as possible since I also do crowd management seasonally but haven't worked since April 1st. P.S. A page from the daily calendar for Life Hacks encouraged me to join and I do know someone on Rover.com named Stephen. He's a dog sitter, owner, and trainer. I live in a condo on the ground level with a patio and a view of Mill Creek. I'd prefer to house and/or pet watch at your place.
“Tess was available with short notice. She was able to wrangle my energetic dogs through their first babysitting experience. They were with her for a couple of hours and were extremely comfortable. Thanks, Tess!”

About: I’ve owned cats all my life, and a few dogs. I have experience volunteering at a local animal shelter, working with both cats and dogs when I was younger . I have a 4H background as well. We adopted our dog Frida 2 years ago. I’m a stay at home, homeschooling mom with a flexible schedule. We are home often and already own a dog. It's not much more work to add one or two into the mix. My kids love dogs and enjoy meeting new ones. We all love that owning dogs helps us to be outside more, either playing with the dogs or taking them on walks. My three children adore dogs and cats, and will give lots of love and attention. We live near parks and have a great neighborhood for walks. Dogs are allowed to free range of the house and fenced yard. They are allowed on the couches.
“Super last minute accommodation and Kelly was able to make it work for us! She has two lovely dogs and a nice backyard area for play. I had explained that my girl is a little high-maintenance and she was safe the entire time. I picked her up and she was exhausted. They even have a cat (my dog despises cats), but Kelly made sure this wasn't an issue. Great experience!”

About: I have been taking care of cats, dogs, birds, fishes, and pet rodents since I was five. I also used to work at Lost Our Home Pet Foundation with Focus Employment Services during 2016. I went to Vet Camp during Summer 2013. I have treated all the pets with love, care, and respect. I had learned how to groom animals when I was a kid by my grandmother then again in highschool at Red Mountain High School while taking animal science and vet science. I also got more into grooming different animals when I went to Vet Camp up in Kayenta, Az. I've grew up around cats and dogs while helping my family take care of their pur babies. Growing up I would alao take care of the stray cats that would visit time to time, always leaving clean water for them. I had my first first pur baby (Princess Cinnimon) when I was in elementry 5th grade after my cousin let me cat sit at my home with her 3 pur babies (Midnight, Cinnomin, and AJ). My first cat sitting job was the summer before 4th grade as my aunt went on vaction and my mom was house sitting leaving me in charge of the cats (Pumpkin and Boots). Before this I would visit my family and help take care of the cats and play with them while I was there. At friends' houses I would help them bath, groom, feed, and overall take care of their cats. While visiting (vacation) Beaverton I helped the hosts while there cats (heath, feeding, and playing) especially when they left for a trip. As I grew up with my mom's cat (Tigger was a stray) I showed I was ready for my own. My first cat was Princess Cinnimon (from my cousin) which later I got Cookie (from my friend's family). As time went on I would help my friend's and my family with their pets (including cats) while also taking care of mine and strays. When I decided to be a Vet Tech I work with Focus Group at Lost Our Homes Foundation taking care of cats before getting trained to work with the dogs as well. There I would clean and sanitize their rooms, litter box (fresh box), restock litter boxes, clean cages, change their blankets and towels, give clean bowls, fresh water, give them their food, brush their trees, brush their fur, wash their bowls, wash their blankets and towels, give out treats, play, spend quality time with each of the cats in the rooms, and notify the staff if something was wrong with their health. At times I was their jungle gym especially in the kitten room. I am a student getting my degree in Accounting. I can take care of your pets, baby or babies, from 5am to 1pm and 3pm to 10pm. If need be I can take care of them over night as well. I will take videos and pictures of them and follow all your instructions. I will give them fresh water in a clean bowl and make sure they have food. I will take them on walks, for dogs, and play with them, for all playable pets. I will also give you updates and notify you if something is wrong. I treat all pets like they are family, give them love, and my undivided attention. Also I will make sure to bath them if you wish for me to do so. I am a student getting my degree in Accounting. I can take care of your pets (baby or babies) from 5am to 1pm and 3pm to 10pm. Keeping an eye on them and sending picture or videos is an important roll to provide you (the owner/ parent) clearity and reasurance. If domething comes up doing the job where I have to be away (loss of family/ friend, appointments, or personal business) I will alawys let you (the owner/ parent) know.

“Heather was great, she was so good with my dog and was always detailed on the rover cards and took plenty of pictures. I didn't have to worry about leaving my pup at home knowing Heather would stop by and take care of her!”

“Kayla was amazing! She walked both of our schnauzers and learned their individual personalities immediately. One of my dogs was sick when I left and Kayla was very communicative which relieved much of my stress. We will most definitely be using Kayla in the future!”

“Astrid took great care of my pups and helped them be secure and happy while I was out of town. When I’m in town and she walks them, I can tell by the way they greet her what a big treat it is for them to spend time with her. I appreciate Astrid’s sensitivity and creativity and skill in interacting with my two dogs who are quite different from one another in energy level so that they both get their needs met for activity and exercise and affection.”
“My new favorite person, the most patient and kind soul. She worked so hard to get my puppy comfortable and to come out of her kennel on her own. Took lots of pictures and eased my worries. So unbelievably grateful for her extra care.”

This experience taught me how important patience, attentiveness, and adaptability are because every pet has unique needs. I know trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and my goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I'll care for them with patience, kindness, and lots of love. I'll also send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I can't wait to meet you and your furry family members! I am currently working two part-time jobs, and as I transition out of one of them, my schedule will mainly be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. On Mondays and Fridays, I am free any time in the morning up until 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. As a prior ACA, your pet’s safety and comfort come first. I maintain clean spaces, follow detailed care instructions, and communicate consistently to ensure peace of mind.
About: i’ve had pets all my life, lots of different kinds. so i’ve grown up around animals. i’ve always loved animals and love working with them. I'm currently working full time, using this as a side for extra money. I'm available Sundays and Mondays all day! :) Tuesdays and Wednesdays are typically full with my job. :( I'm available anytime after 2pm Thursdays-Saturdays! i do have a dog who is friendly, but she sometimes can get scared of other dogs, mostly ones bigger than her. she is a medium sized baby, she’s a mix of chihuahua, dachshund, and poodle. i have a fenced yard for her to run around in!
About: I have grown up being surrounded by dogs! My dad always had dogs in our home. I raised my pitbull/lab mixed breed dog Nala from when I was the age of Ten until she passed away when I was 21 years old. She taught me a lot about being a pet owner as well as a person! She was my best friend🤍 I am a very active, responsible, and empathetic person! I enjoy being outdoors going on long walks, hikes, and runs! I’m always down for a furry friend to tag along :) My current work schedule is 6am to 6pm Sunday through Tuesday :) I am available throughout the week on my days off for some pet care! I am respectful of other spaces! I like to stay occupied and am willing to go on adventures with your fur baby! I am full of love to give for animals. My full time job is caregiving so I’m the kind of person to place others needs before my own, but I do prioritize my health so I’m always in tip top shape for whoever/whatever needs my attention!
About: I'm an animal lover. I had dogs and cats and mainly had just dogs/cats in the past. I've always wanted to take care of animals. Even starting out as a walker/sitter it’s fun to be able to help I live in a house with a yard and they do allow animals. I will make sure they will not be able to escape. I will never forget to feed them. Play with them. Take them out whenever they need to go. I will keep the owners up to date with everything involving their pets. I have a small back patio but the place does have a big dog park! I do want to put that making a list of things that you normally would do with your pet, fill free to write down and tell me. Any questions at all ask me. Please review on booking me. Currently unemployed and my first time being pregnant! So I am looking into making some income someway before starting back up work but I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! And or cats! I’m available for walking/ check ins any time of day(I’ll be a bit slow but definitely high energy for the furry ones! I’m great at providing whatever needs fit, either high energy for a young pup or a low casual exercise for those senior babies lol :) If I were to care for someone’s pet in their home I’d make sure to bring extra items for their pets like extra food bowls, walking harnesses/leashes or food.

“I left my 7 month old puppy for a few days and it was our first time of being separated. I was so nervous to leave him but Christina made me feel very comfortable of leaving him in her hands. And he was also comfortable staying with her. She kept me posted of how he was doing and took very good care of him. I highly recommend Christina. I would definitely use her again to watch my fur baby in the future!”

“Our dogs have stayed with Gayle twice now, and I can't imagine using anyone else! They're happy there, busy and well cared for. She shares lots of pictures and videos and you can tell she enjoys what she does!”

“This was our first time leaving our pup with anyone. Nicole put us at eaze when we had our meet and greet. We felt at eaze the entire time we were gone. Its nice to know we have someone we can trust to leave our pup with if we have to go away!!”

“My beagle stayed with Madlin for 4 days, had an issue with another arrangement while I was out of town and Madlin was able to handle everything (picked up my dog and helped both my beagle's stress and my own with great communication).
