“I can’t say enough kind words about Gayle and her housemate Seth! They welcomed my boys into their home on very short notice for an overnight stay and fun day of play with their sweet pup Sitka. Sitka was a peach and shared all her toys with my boys. They were like 3 peas in a pod! Gayles home is the ultimate pup set up! Very clean and organized, lots of room inside and out for everyone to run and play freely. She provided me with frequent updates and pics of the boys enjoying themselves and OH! The way they bonded with her housemate! They were so comfortable and enjoyed all the cuddle time he gave them! “We threw a small superbowl party at our home. Floki does not do well with guests stopping by, so we searched for near by dog sitter to watch him for the evening. We met with Jordan a couple weeks prior to dropping Floki off. He did well with him and his son. Jordan sent pictures throughout his, putting our mind to ease! The picture of our dog with his head on his son's lap was PERFECT! Like I said, he doesn't do well with strangers stopping by so this made both of us very happy receiving this photo! Floki is a very energetic dog and he was tired when he came home. Jordan took Floki for 2 long walks which was not expected but appreciated! He went above and beyond previous sitters!!! So grateful to have found him! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Oh and another thing that we must mention, he got along with the other dogs he cared for; out of the norm for Floki! “If I could give 10 stars I would. I’m new to the area and having an anxious dog going through some major changes has been challenging. The first night Mickenzie came over to let him out, Beanie wouldn’t let her touch him and growled the whole time. He wouldn’t even eat a treat that she left in front of him on the couch! Mickenzie was gentle, patient, and communicative through the entire process. The following day she agreed to come out on her own time to meet beanie with me and let him get more acquainted in a safe space with mom. She was kind and understanding even as he barked and growled at her throughout the visit. That night she came back to try again. She took her time, was able to connect, Beanie let her pet him, pick him up, and put a harness on. She was able to let him out to the bathroom and get him back in without any issue other than the time and patience it took from her. Mickenzie is excellent. I HIGHLY recommend her especially for those who are anxious leaving their babies in the care of someone they don’t know. I’m so grateful and will continue to use her as often as possible. Clay was professional from the start and always prompt in responding to my questions, which I really appreciated. When we arrived, he took the time to give me a tour and patiently answered all of my questions. The multiple levels of fenced kennel runs with bark chips were very well done, and it gave me such peace of mind knowing that both of my Weimaraners were safe and secure. Most importantly, my dogs had a great time! They came home happy and happily worn out at the end of the day, which says everything. About: We are a duo who help others with their pets! My name is Desiree, and my partner’s name is Tyler. We are adventurous! Often, we fill our free time with hikes, walks around cities, and exploring parks. We would love to take your dogs on these walks too! I grew up around animals—anything from rabbits, mice, cats, and dogs to some exotics like raccoons. As a kid, I would rehabilitate animals like deer or wild rabbits. I feel we need to look out for our little friends, as the world is hard for everyone. Being kind is important to me. I have experience with basic dog training, teaching good leash behavior, and giving extra care to older dogs! I'm comfortable with giving medicine, or going the extra mile to help upkeep their health, may it be brushing teeth, giving baths, or grooming. Our goal is to provide the best, and perfect routine for your pets while you're away that would match closely to what you would do in your daily life to assure max comfort for your animals. We currently go to school online, so we are very flexible with our time and since two of us are on duty, we can always give attention! We mainly care for them in your home, and this is very flexible to how you would want them cared for. We love to follow exact instructions, or approximate instructions. Whichever you want to provide. We want your trip away from home to be stress free, and confident your pet is getting treated with the utmost care and love.

When I’m in town and she walks them, I can tell by the way they greet her what a big treat it is for them to spend time with her. I appreciate Astrid’s sensitivity and creativity and skill in interacting with my two dogs who are quite different from one another in energy level so that they both get their needs met for activity and exercise and affection.”
About: I started on Rover back in 2018 boarding dogs in my home! Now I'm available to do drop in visits for dogs and cats. I have a cat of my own named Peach who is 5 now. Dogs and cats tend to like me, which is a plus! I work at a bank full time but looking to make extra money in my free time. I'm mostly available evenings after work and weekends! I work Mon-Fri but I'm available in the evenings after 5:30 pm. I have open availability on weekends at the moment. I have a lot of experience watching dogs in the past, whether it be for friends/family or clients on Rover. Recently, I've been doing drop ins for cats and I really enjoy it! When it comes to taking care of your pet in your own home, I think it best to tell me what needs to be done during the visit. Where food/supplies are, if they need to be put in a kennel before I leave, what their habits are like and what to look out for if anything. Everyone has different rules when it comes to their animals and I will be 100% respectful of your home and property.

I found out sitting with works I will follow instructions plus add my own routine with each animal in order to make animals calm. Animal treats are always great to bring I follow instructions, I try to sit with animals to except trust & safety from animals. With permission, I always bring cat & dog treats.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have experience caring for family pets, including our two Chihuahuas and my sister’s Labrador. I’ve also spent time around cats through friends and roommates. I enjoy walking dogs, playing with pets, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. My background as a supervisor and coach has taught me responsibility, communication, and consistency, and I bring those same qualities to pet care. I’m comfortable with feeding, administering basic medications, playtime, companionship, and keeping owners updated with pictures and messages. I have a flexible schedule throughout most of the day. My mornings and evenings are typically spent coaching rugby and working out, but outside of those times I have plenty of availability for dog walks, drop in visits, cat care, and house sitting. I enjoy staying active and love spending time with animals, whether that means going for a walk, playing, or simply providing companionship and care while you’re away. I believe every pet deserves patience, attention, and a safe environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions from owners. I prioritize safety by keeping dogs leashed during walks, making sure doors and gates are secure, and paying attention to each pet’s comfort and needs. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they’re away.
About: I grew up with three dogs in my house, and many more coming in and out. I have lots of experience with many different breeds, ages, and temperaments. I got a COVID puppy in 2019, so I also have experience with training high energy pups! I truly love all animals and would love to help your family out where I can! I currently only work 3 days a week and have plenty of time in the evenings on those days. Other than that, I am free! In your home, I will follow all the rules you have in place while providing gentle, loving care for your animals! In my own home, keeping up with diet, exercise, and training is important for my pups.
About: Hi Friend! I have a lot of experience taking care of dogs, big and small (ie. pugs, pit bulls, Dobermans). I am also a Doberman mom. 🐾 I currently have a very flexible schedule. However, I am more consistently available in the mornings and on the weekends. I am happy to make your pet care a part of my weekly routine. :) I provide care in my client’s home according to the guidelines they provide me with. About: Hi there! I'm a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters throughout my life and have personally adopted 6 dogs, 5 rats, 1 cat, and even a chinchilla—each one bringing joy and unforgettable memories. Currently, I share my home with my sweet pup, Xena. I’m patient, attentive, and quick to adapt to each pet’s unique needs. I have strong knowledge of dog training, behavior, and wellness, and I’m comfortable caring for dogs with medical needs or special quirks. Whether it’s playtime, walks, cuddles, or structured care, your dog will be in loving, capable hands with me. I currently work full time but I live very close to my work so I am home at lunch time to check on things and give a potty break. I have no long commute or traffic to worry about. On the weekends, I stay in the area or take pups out for hikes! Boarding: To introduce, your pup will have an entire room gated off with a baby gate to acclimate to the new environment. Then, your pup will be welcomed to explore the home.
About: i’ve had pets all my life, lots of different kinds. so i’ve grown up around animals. i’ve always loved animals and love working with them. I'm currently working full time, using this as a side for extra money. I'm available Sundays and Mondays all day! :) Tuesdays and Wednesdays are typically full with my job. :( I'm available anytime after 2pm Thursdays-Saturdays! i do have a dog who is friendly, but she sometimes can get scared of other dogs, mostly ones bigger than her. she is a medium sized baby, she’s a mix of chihuahua, dachshund, and poodle. i have a fenced yard for her to run around in!
About: I'm an animal lover. I had dogs and cats and mainly had just dogs/cats in the past. I've always wanted to take care of animals. Even starting out as a walker/sitter it’s fun to be able to help I live in a house with a yard and they do allow animals. I will make sure they will not be able to escape. I will never forget to feed them. Play with them. Take them out whenever they need to go. I will keep the owners up to date with everything involving their pets. I have a small back patio but the place does have a big dog park! I do want to put that making a list of things that you normally would do with your pet, fill free to write down and tell me. So I am looking into making some income someway before starting back up work but I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! And or cats! I’m available for walking/ check ins any time of day(I’ll be a bit slow but definitely high energy for the furry ones! I’m great at providing whatever needs fit, either high energy for a young pup or a low casual exercise for those senior babies lol :) If I were to care for someone’s pet in their home I’d make sure to bring extra items for their pets like extra food bowls, walking harnesses/leashes or food.

Very clean and organized, lots of room inside and out for everyone to run and play freely. She provided me with frequent updates and pics of the boys enjoying themselves and OH! The way they bonded with her housemate! They were so comfortable and enjoyed all the cuddle time he gave them! “We threw a small superbowl party at our home. Floki does not do well with guests stopping by, so we searched for near by dog sitter to watch him for the evening. We met with Jordan a couple weeks prior to dropping Floki off. He did well with him and his son. Jordan sent pictures throughout his, putting our mind to ease! The picture of our dog with his head on his son's lap was PERFECT! Like I said, he doesn't do well with strangers stopping by so this made both of us very happy receiving this photo! Floki is a very energetic dog and he was tired when he came home. Jordan took Floki for 2 long walks which was not expected but appreciated! He went above and beyond previous sitters!!! So grateful to have found him! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Oh and another thing that we must mention, he got along with the other dogs he cared for; out of the norm for Floki! “Kathrine is an AMAZING sitter! I went out of town for 5 days and left my pup with her at her home. I immediately felt comfortable leaving her there when I dropped her off. She sent pics, videos, and updated me on all things (eating, pooping, etc.). Her dog, Ophelia, was the sweetest companion and I could tell her and my dog were besties from the pics she sent! They went on multiple walks a day, and even a weekend adventure! I will definitely be using Kathrine again in the future!”
“Steven and his partner were great with Parker (who can definitely be a handful at times) but they said he did awesome during his stay. Parker had so much fun with them and his two dogs Shasta and Jasper. They even took videos and photos for me to see how he was doing. Parker didn't want to leave he loved them and I'm sure he had so much fun while I was away. 10/10 recommend and will definitely use them again anytime I need a sitter for Parker in the future.”
