“We are so grateful to Manisha and her family! We left our 4-year-old Goldendoodle with her and her family for 10 days while we were on vacation, and they exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we met them, it was obvious they genuinely love dogs. They welcomed our pup into their home and treated him like part of the family. Knowing he was surrounded by such caring, attentive people gave us complete peace of mind and allowed us to truly enjoy our vacation. When we picked him up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. We can’t thank Manisha and her family enough for their kindness, patience, and love. We would absolutely trust them with our dog again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable, compassionate, and loving dog sitter. Thank you, Manisha, for taking such wonderful care of our furry family member!”

“Allison was very accommodating with our dog Yoshi who still has a lot of puppy energy. I could tell that Yoshi had a great stay, he came back home calm and very affectionate. I'll definitely reach out to Allison for dog sitting in the future.”

“Shawna and Matt were excellent! They took great care of Rory, and he bonded immediately with their Max. I know he had so much fun. Shawna sent loads of pictures. I'll definitely book them again in the future!”

“When Clyde didn’t bark not once when we first met Angelique, I knew he was going to be in good hands. He usually barks at all strangers at first! She went above and beyond with Clyde! She was so loving to him and sent me plenty of pictures and updates on his care so that I could have peace of mind.”

“What an amazing experience my golden retriever had with Hayley and Graham! He was happy, extremely well taken care off, and obviously loved. I will bring my boy here any time. Absolutely amazing experience”

“This was Muff’s third—and at two weeks, by far longest—stay with Barbara. When Muff and I arrived for the drop-off, Muff was thrilled to see Barbara, which is always a good sign. The stay went very well, and Barbara sent a ton of photos. Highly recommended!”

“Saawan and Kangna are the best! We’re so thankful we found them. They cared for Rosie with so much love. They were thoughtful and kind and very prompt with all communication.”

“Suzanne took great care of our little dog, Charlie, while we were on vacation recently. I was so pleased with the care he received and the daily updates from Suzanne that always included lots of photos of Charlie! Suzanne is very knowledgeable and gave us some great tips about canine nutrition, too. We will definitely book when Suzanne again!”

“So happy to have come across Jennifer and Eric before boarding our pup. Seeing photos of him snuggling their kids and knowing he was being loved on all week gave us so much peace of mind while we were on vacation. Thank you guys so much!”

“We had such an amazing first Rover experience with Britney and truly could not have asked for a better person to care for our two female German Shepherds. From the very beginning, she was incredibly friendly, responsive, and communicative, which immediately helped ease a lot of the anxiety that comes with leaving your dogs with someone new. She kept us updated daily with pictures and videos of our girls playing, being goofy, relaxing, and genuinely looking comfortable and happy in her home. Those updates meant so much to us and gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Britney was also very upfront and honest with any questions or observations regarding the dogs and was always open to suggestions that could help them settle in more comfortably. One of the biggest things we appreciated was her experience with German Shepherds. You can absolutely tell she understands the breed and their personalities, energy levels, and needs since she previously owned one herself. She had toys available, a great environment for them, and also boarded only our girls without other dogs during their stay, which made us feel even more comfortable and helped reduce stress for them. She also gave us thoughtful feedback, training tips, and helpful suggestions that we genuinely appreciated as first-time Rover users and German Shepherd owners still learning along the way. It never felt judgmental, just supportive and caring. Overall, Britney went above and beyond for our girls, and we are so grateful for the care, patience, and attention she gave them. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, experienced, and genuinely caring for their pets.☺️🐾🩷”

“Our pup goes to daycare at Vanessa’s a few days a week and loves it. When we needed a last minute sitter for thanksgiving weekend, Vanessa said yes right away and accommodated our girl. We couldn’t be more grateful! We’d highly recommend Vanessa for your pups care!”

“Paula is friendly and so knowledgeable. Her dogs were great playmates for my dog, so I got a happy, tired out pup when I came for pick up. Paula was flexible with me on drop off and pick up times due to icy roads - I really appreciated her kind demeanor and quick communication.”

“Our pup was so well cared for and loved. We couldn’t have picked a better place for him to stay. He fit right in with their family and had the best time! I highly recommend!”

“Barbara is a really warm person who my dog took a shine to right away. I was very comfortable leaving my little buddy with her and it sounds like they had a great time 🙂”

“Ron is the first non-Shiba-breeder person who we boarded our Shiba boy with, and Tanuki was well taken care of by Ron! Emma and Ron were able to loosen up Tanuki after an evening, and Tanuki really appreciated being able to lounge on furniture and beds. Being worried parents, we were comforted by Ron’s regular updates on our boy. We’re all very happy to have Ron to send Tanuki to for short trips!”

“David took wonderful care of our two dogs and kept us updated throughout the stay with messages and photos. Communication was excellent and our dogs were comfortable and well cared for. We would definitely book with David again, highly recommend! Thank you!”

“Fantastic pet sitters! Liz and Ren were very caring and kept us updated with lots of pictures of Peppina, our blue heeler, when she spent two weeks being boarded at their place. They have a yard and took her on lots of walks and adventures too! Their corgie Reggie also is a sweetheart and was great company for our dog.”

“Melani was great taking care of CalCal my goldendoodle. We met up beforehand to make sure my dog would get along with her dog. She sent many photos during the boarding. Would use her again; thanks Melani!”

“Alexis and Jacob were very friendly. I think they took great care of LeeLoo. She seemed very relaxed with them. I will definitely use them next time we need a sitter.”

“We met Vaitiary and Adam prior to booking and they were very nice, friendly, and got along with our cat immediately. During our trip they visited our cat every day to check on him and his meds, and they treated him like his own. Overall they were awesome, I highly recommend them without any doubts! 😎”

“Haley was a lifesaver and jumped right in after I had another sitter fall through. One of my very shy kitties actually let Haley pet her and get close to her. It seems like my kitties really liked her and were doing so well when I returned home from my trip.”

“Hannah always does an amazing job!! Very kind, responsible, and flexible when I had a very last minute trip come up. My kitty always looks happy and well taken care of with her, couldn't ask for anything better :)”

About: My adult life has blessed me with the love of cats. I came late into life of my first can and learned how truly special the bond of a cat was. I am experience in elder cat care and understand that every cat has a mind of its own. My current 3 cats have continued to teach my that calmness is what makes a cat home functional. My role is to provide your cat the same level of calmness they would have when you are home.

“Rylie was amazing. Took great care of our cats and went above and beyond multiple times. Even got our super shy car to come out and hang. Which has never happened before with a rover . Can tell she really cares about the animals she works with and will 100% book again if they’re available for our next trip.”

“Camille and her daughter did great with my two cats, one of whom is a kitten. They’re both sweet cats, but Duvalin can be shy and they were still able to coax her out of her shell for some playtime. We did not even do a meet & greet in person beforehand, but Camille followed my written instructions perfectly.”

“Ganna was so wonderful with our new puppy! She sent photos and updates and took such good care of our dog. We have a puppy and were anxious to leave her for the first time, and Ganna made us feel at ease. She’s the best!”

“Brittny took great care of our house and our Piper while we were away. She sent multiple photos and described exactly how Piper was acting and what she enjoyed most during each visit.”

“Vanessa is wonderful! We have left both our cats and our beloved pup in her care, and never have to worry about a thing. She is patient, kind, and the fact that shes a certified Vet Tech lends extra peace of mind to each stay. We always know every one of our pets is in the very best hands. Without her, I'd never be able to relax on vacation. I would highly recommend Vanessa-she is the ONLY sitter we ever use!!”

“My little dog Clara absolutely adores Susan and Ian and their two big dogs. They have such a wonderful dynamic with their intelligent, energetic dogs, and it melts my heart to see Clara be welcomed into their pack. She comes home so happy and tired from a full day of exercise, play, affection, and relaxing among her favorite spots. Their pickup add-on is really wonderful, and Clara gets so excited when she realizes it's time to go have fun with Baz and Ruby! It is so special to see my little dog and other new friends in daycare all confidently playing together. Every daycare dog she's met with them has been an immediate friend--not always what you expect with a chihuahua away from mom and home--and that speaks to how thoughtfully Susan and Ian manage the group. They have a real gift for understanding different dogs so that they feel comfortable, safe, and included. I trust them completely with Clara and couldn't recommend them more highly.”

“Vanessa was flexible and able to accommodate the changes I made. I appreciate her so much for that. She sent updates with pictures throughout the day. Thanks Vanessa!!!”

“Roxanne did a great job with our puppy’s first daycare experience! I loved getting all the picture updates and see how happy he was when he saw horses for the first time! Roxanne is awesome!”

“Alexis and Jacob watched Baja for the first time and it was a total success! Baja is very sweet but can be a handful and so we were pretty picky about who could take the reins after her last sitter moved. Based on the friendliness, competence, reliability, and great communication we experienced with Alexis and Jacob, we’re thrilled to have a new loving and safe place for Baja to stay when we’re gone.”

“Barbara is an excellent dog sitter, my dog Caleb absolutely loves coming and seeing her and her wonderful dogs every month for a couple days. She’s compassionate and very kind and caring, I would recommend her to anyone seeking daycare, 10 out of 5 stars rating!!”

“Nellie gets so excited when she’s going to Christen’s. She loves it there! And she receives such good attention and the opportunity to play with her good friend Otis. Definitely a great fit.”

“Bo just absolutely loved staying with Vinai while I ran errands for a few hours! He made sure he was cared for and got some energy out! Definitely would recommend Vinai and will be using him again. Thanks!”

“Jami is very diligent with sending pics/vids even when we don’t respond right away, with also sharing all needed updates about Mango. She’s straightforward, super helpful, very nice, reassuring, and keeps it a big world for your dog as she did for our Mango. She’s now our favorite and top person for anytime Mango would need daycare for the day or boarding when we have to leave for a trip.”

About: Hey! We're Matt and Shawna! We're a young, dog-loving couple with a furry pup of our own! Together, we would love to meet your pups and keep them company while you're away! While in California, Shawna was an active dogsitter for DogVacay which eventually turned into Rover! She's the snuggler; she'll love giving tons of belly rubs/hugs/kisses to your pups! Matt stays super active and loves going on long walks/runs/hikes with your pups. Your pups are guaranteed to get great exercise with him! Message us for any questions you may have! We look forward to meeting you & your pup(s)! Matt works remotely from home, and Shawna is a self-employed beauty professional. This allows for tons of flexibility. Our pup also loves having friends around! We live in a safe community with a park within the neighborhood. We take our pup on long walks and occasional trips to dog parks.
“Piggy had a great time with Marla and Keith. She got all her puppy energy out and came back ready for bed. They gave a great update at the end of the day about how it went and I felt very comfortable leaving her with them. 10/10”

About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.
“Leon had such a great time with Reanna and her baby today; it even took a few minutes to convince him that it was time to go home! She took lots of photos and kept me updated about his activities. Highly recommend. Thank you so much!”

“My dogs had an amazing time with Michael and Cindy! They got lots of exercise and love and snuggles. I felt completely at ease knowing they were being taken care of while I was away. The dogs even got baths and massages, and came home all fresh and clean. :) So, so, so happy with my experience.”

“We needed someone to do a long daycare for our very active and high energy doggy Maya and found a great sitter with Mersel! Mersel was great to work with, responded quickly and we were very impressed with her place for both the backyard and all the spaces in the house for the dogs to play and rest. Mersel also kept us updated regularly and sent us lots of pictures and videos as the day progressed. We will definitely be booking with Mersel again in the future!”

“I am so grateful to have found Damon to care for my girl Fiona. She is almost 14, blind, and diabetic, so I was nervous when my schedule changed and I was needing to find a daycare solution for her. I feel so comfortable dropping her off with him. I know that she will be well taken care of and he will quickly communicate any concerns.”

“Alexis has been so good with Wilson, my greyhound. She honored all of my requests for him as greyhounds can be quite a different sort of breed than others. Her sense of care for animals is exactly what I was looking for and I would recommend Alexis to anyone who needs someone to take care of their pooch☺️👍🏻🐾.”

I look forward to meeting you and your lovely pets. :) I typically work from home and on a very flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to care for pets! I go on a few walks daily as I aim to get 10-15k steps a day, and it’s even more exciting when I get to walk dogs. I’m not currently able to offer in-home sitting as we live on a property with our neighbors who have other dogs, but if I’m sitting pets in your home, I’m able to take them on 3-4 walks daily if needed. I’m usually home most of the day, I’ll go out for max 4-5 hours at a time.
About: I've had cats and dogs growing up my whole life. I was the primary caregiver, trainer and best friend. I also took care of many of the neighbors cats and dogs while they were away. And their farm animals as well. Also have experience from the Army training tracking and guard dogs. I am a retired latter carrier and a disabled Army Veteran. I have all the time in the world to devote to caring for your pets when needed. Particularly with dogs during the day. Walking is great for your dog and gets me the exercise that I need. It's a win-win. And it's a plus that I get the hang around with dogs. , i currently do not have dogs or cats of my own. I do live in an apartment but I'm close to many parks and trails. I'm available for a client's home sitting as well and will always abide by the wishes of the client for their pets.

Thank you!”

“Oscar had a great time with Kimberly and her kids. He was well taken care of and Kimberly shared photos of Oscar and her dog Coco having a good time together. Wouldn't hesitate to book with her again in the future. Thank you, Kimberly!”

“Great communication throughout the stay! We appreciated the pictures and videos through the day to give us the confidence our dogs were receiving the best care. We can’t wait to book with Mersal again! In fact, our dog Laika has been missing her new friends since she’s back home!”

“My pup had the best time. When I got back it was obvious he was well taken care of and enjoyed his time. He must of slept for 12 hours straight after coming home with all the play time and walks. Super fortunate to find such great care.”

“We couldn't be happier with Andy's care for our two dogs during our time away! Our elderly pomeranian, who has limited mobility and decreased vision, requires extra attention and patience, and Andy provided just that. She was incredibly thoughtful and meticulous in making sure our senior pup was comfortable and happy, even going the extra mile when he wasn't eating very well. She worked with him to ensure he got the nutrition he needed, which really eased our minds. Our 1-year-old puppy also had a blast with Andrea, and we could see from the daily updates and photos she sent that both dogs were well-loved and cared for. We truly appreciated the time and attention she gave to each of them, and the peace of mind she provided us while we were away. We wholeheartedly trusted Andrea with both of our dogs, and we will definitely be reaching out to her again the next time we need a sitter. Highly recommend her!”

“The boys had a wonderful time with Roxanne. They’re not the “easiest” campers, but her home had several methods to keep them away from trouble. They will absolutely be back!”

“Katie was very accommodating throughout the entire process. She was punctual with her messages, and flexible with my drop-off/pickup times. She sent pictures of my pup, who looked very relaxed and happy. I would rebook with Katie again for sure!”
