About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.

About: My wife works from home, so your pet will spend very little time alone if boarding at our home. If we are checking in at your home, we will send as many pics and vids as you would like! “Dottie was great to work with when we reached out on short notice in search of care for our pomsky. She provides a great environment for the pups according to their needs (and our dog is needy) to make them feel safe and comfortable. She was great at asking questions on some of the details we had mentioned in our instructions and we loved getting daily updates. She also has a great sense of humor which is always a plus when we were messaging each other on how things were going. It was such a comfort knowing our dog was in great care while we were away.
