I am an avid walker, so would love to get a good hike in with your dog/s. There is nothing better than curling up in the evening with a dog or cat to snuggle with. I'm retired so I'm willing and available to travel and stay at your house thereby relieving the stress your pets endure staying in a kennel or at other people's homes. I spend time each day caring for my own animals and enjoy being active outdoors. Because of this, dog walking and pet visits fit naturally into my routine, allowing me to provide consistent care, attention, and updates to pet owners. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible. I provide fresh food and water, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of attention. I make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for, and I keep owners updated with messages and photos during visits.

I have two dogs of my own one is a mastiff so I am experienced with big dogs and my other pup has suffered from anxiety so I am very understanding of animals that may suffer from separation anxiety. During those days, I am available for overnight stays and can complete potty breaks and daily care before work (around 6:00 AM), during my lunch break (approximately 12:00–1:00 PM), and after work (around 8:00 PM). water is always available and refreshed regularly. I am highly accustomed to following structured feeding and medication schedules. You can trust that your pet's meals and medications will be given on time following your instructions! I enjoy providing plenty of affection and attention to pets who seek it. Whether your dog loves to be out playing fetch or prefers a little more relaxing, I adjust my care to their individual personality and comfort level. Communication is a priority for me. I typically provide photo and text updates every 1–2 hours so you can stay updated on your pet while you're away. If you prefer fewer updates, I am happy to accommodate your preferences.
About: I've taken care of pets since I was a youngster. I had a diabetic dog for years, so I'm aware of the need for medications. I LOVE dogs and cats of all sizes and ages. I am an avid walker, so would love to get a good hike in with your dog/s. There is nothing better than curling up in the evening with a dog or cat to snuggle with. I'm retired so I'm willing and available to travel and stay at your house thereby relieving the stress your pets endure staying in a kennel or at other people's homes. If I will be taking care of pets for several days, I would prefer to care for the pets in your home. I currently don't have accommodations to care for pets where I live.
About: I have three beautiful cats at home that are super energetic and snuggly! My family had cats while I was in high school and I love being around all animals! Just moved to Eugene from Tennessee and currently have open availability! I’m an early riser so if you need a dog walked in the morning, I’ve got you! I have a car and am willing to walk or bus as well! Our house is plentiful of cat trees, window perches and tunnels! About: 8 years of experience with birds, and 3 with cats! Some experience with puppies and senior dogs belonging to friends and family. I'm happy to feed, medicate and play with your pet! If it's a dog, I can take them on walks up to about a mile per walk. Past experiences with pets include owning budgies starting when I was 14 (sadly, my budgie has passed away since, but lived a long and happy life) as well as living with roommates who had cats for the past 3 years. Experience with dogs is more limited, however I do have experience with my family's senior dog from childhood as well as occasionally puppy-sitting for my in-laws. In terms of availability, I am between jobs at the moment so I am very flexible. I am available pretty much anytime but have a preference for weekdays. New to the area and searching for jobs, so right now availability is very flexible. Preference for weekdays and mornings/afternoons. Anything works though, just let me know! Will follow any special instructions, no matter how convoluted! My roomate's cat is very ritualistic with her morning routine, so I get it. I would much rather pet-sit at the client's house rather than my own, especially as I do live in a shoebox apartment.
About: I have experience with all sorts of animals. I have worked with dogs and cats and most other household pets including snakes and birds. I have also worked with horses and most livestock farm animals. I make a daily roster of animals to care for and schedule my time accordingly. I care for my animals first always and help my community with animal care needs. I have a large fenced yard with room to run. I have 2 female dogs that are well trained and managed. The smaller mutt is elderly (11) and has a room of her own where she will put herself as needed. My big girl Sally, the Bernese is friendly to all animals large or small and really the very best calm neutral dog I have ever known.

About: I have 2 beagles, 1 Belgian malinois, and 2 cats. I have always had a passion for animals. I am the family go too for pet sitting, especially for my mom and her 5 dogs. She answered my questions and special requests to make sure Izzy was peeing first day. I was able to go visit them as well. Her home is clean and neat. When we arrived to her special room for kitties for drop-off day, it was so welcoming and all set up for two cats. I felt so welcomed. I will have to replicate some of the beds and carpet she has for them, they loved them so much. There is a big, secure catio with kitty door for those cats with indoor-outdoor preferences; it has a whole wooden structure in it for them to climb or be up high or down on the ground. Valerie gave my boys lots of loves and playtime/laptime. Milo "helped" her with paperwork (ahem). She is calm and warm and loving. When I visited, they were so calm. Izzy was hesitant at first, hiding under the bed, but by day 2 he was ready to get rubs and playtime. She even plays soothing kitty t.v./music for them. I 100% recommend Valerie and her set-up. She also invited me for a meet and greet before booking. I am so grateful for Valerie taking care of my cats while I traveled and looked for a rental.”
