“HanLan took such good care of my cat while I was away. She sent regular updates showing all the fun adventures he got up to with her cat. They got on so well. It gave me piece of mind knowing she and Her husband took such good care of my cat while I was out of cell phone range. I would use her services again.”

“Cassandra is an amazing sitter and her setting is absolutely beautiful and heaven for our 10 month old. This was our first experience leaving our girl and it was perfect from reserving our time to picking BB up. Cassandra is a wonderful and straight forward communicator. She is a very calming person and really loves all animals. Many thanks for taking such good care of our BB. We highly recommend Cassandra”

“I could not have asked for a better family to watch my dog! Samantha and Brian were so kind and accommodating with my older dog! My dog had some issues initially acclimating to the new environment and they went above and beyond to make him feel at home. To the extent that Brian slept in the living room with him, where my dog felt most comfortable. Their children and their pup were wonderful with him as well! The family even accommodated me picking my dog up a night early since our holiday plans changed. This family really was a blessing when we needed to leave our dog for the holidays! Thank you again!!”

“Leslie was great with my Murph with multiple updates and check ins making me feel comfortable being away from my old man. I know he will look forward to future stays with her.”

“I’ve worked with Sarah for a while now, she does drop ins to care for my three kitties. She’s been a lifesaver: reliable, thorough, detail oriented and my kitties love her! So grateful to have found her!”

About: I currently look after a special-needs cat, which includes performing daily eye treatments. I am comfortable following complex care instructions and providing the patient, attentive medical support that senior pets or those with health challenges require. Whether your pet needs high-energy exercise or gentle, specialized attention, I will treat them with the same love and devotion I give my own family.

About: I've had cats my whole life and have taken care of my own two cats for about 3 years now. I've done drop in care and pet siting. I enjoy spending time with cats and animals in general and can provide a safe and comfortable environment for your cats while you are away.

About: Hi! I’m River. I was raised with cats and their kittens as a child, and have always bonded closely with them. I adopted My Own Cat promptly upon turning 18 (in 2002); Khaki was with me for 18 years, outliving his adopted brother Leo (my sister’s cat), who ended up living with me as well. I’ve also cared for my exes cat (Alli), and my son’s first cat (Lady Grey), and my current grand cats, Cas and Zizi. I am comfortable with litter box training, cleaning messes, handling kitten energy, etc. I can do light grooming (brushing fur, cleaning with wipes, applying powders, etc) and give medications. I have experience helping cats with ear, eye, gastrointestinal, and kidney problems. I typically like to do a little light housekeeping anywhere I stay; I live by the motto of “leave it better than you found it.” I also have a wide range of experience and am comfortable caring for various other pets that might need tending while you’re out. I have done lots of pet-sitting for friends and family, and I love meeting and getting to know new animal friends. I am finally joining Rover at the recommendation of many friends and family members who think caring for people’s pets is an excellent job for me. I’m new to Rover, but not new to pet care, and if you trust me with your pets’ care you will find they are in very good hands!

About: I really enjoy learning the personality of cats. Each cat has their own needs and quirks. Building trust with a cat takes time and patience. I always talk softly to the cat and wait for them to come to me. I love to give them attention, but I put the cat's boundaries first.

I’m currently going to school in the afternoon and working at a part time, my mornings are almost always open and some of my nights. I’ll Still be willingly to work something out between those times. I like to take my dog out every 4 hrs even if he isn’t waiting at the door just to make sure he gets a nice breeze of the outside. I usually give him a cup of food every morning.

“Highly recommend Kat! She took care of our two cats expertly for 6 days. One of our cats takes an inhaler for asthma as well as oral medication, and Kat was able to provide that without any issues which is so important to us. She spent quality time with them and kept us informed of anything that came up throughout our trip. She is very trustworthy and has a very nice and caring personality. Thanks, Kat!”

About: My name is Alexandria, or Alex. I currently work full time at a animal hospital as a vet assistant. In the past I have worked for the Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management. I am a HUGE animal lover and would love to spend more time walking/pet sitting animals. I also have my license and a car. I enjoy spending time outdoors and am a natural resources + forestry graduate so I have rain gear and would love to walk your dog rain or shine! Growing up, I've always had dogs, cats, chickens and fish! I dog/house sit for all of my family members and their friends. Whether you're looking for someone to cuddle up with your dogs or someone to take them hiking, running or to the dog park, I am more than happy to! Why I love dog sitting I love dogs and being outside. I've had experience with all dog breeds. I have also had experience with different age groups, from puppies to seniors. I have experience administering medication by mouth or subcutaneously. I can also take care of household chores, mail, garbage, plants, pool, hot tub, etc. I am able to board dogs that aren't fixed at my house. I work 4 8-10 hour days during the week, but for sure have weekends and holidays off to fully take care of your pet(s). I get one day off a week as well. My boyfriend also always has Fridays off and is great with animals. They often love him more than me! We both love animals and they are always treated like a family member. I live on 10 acres in Colton, so I have a great area for your dog to run around. The property is mostly fenced, but a dog that likes to run off can easily escape if they wanted to. I don't let dogs outside unsupervised though, especially after dark.
About: Hi yall! I grew up on a farm with my two parents who are vets. I have experience with rats, mice, horses and bunnies as well as dogs and cats. I work Saturdays and Sundays from 8-2pm, but other than that I have an open schedule. I tend to wake up around 8 or 9 am and can tend to the pet until around 10 when I go to sleep. My pets get fed at breakfast and dinner. Other than that they are accustomed to being around the family for the day. Occasionally we will lock them into our dog room when no one is home to watch them.
“Courtney did an awesome job with my cats! One of my cats has high medical needs (and all three are spoiled.) Courtney was able to keep him on his medications and genuinely cared for them for me. It made my trip a lot easier knowing that my furry friends were happy and well cared-for. I would highly, highly recommend Courtney!”

This personal commitment to my own pets' happiness and health is exactly what I bring to every animal I care for. What sets me apart is my experience with specialized care; I currently look after a special-needs cat, which includes performing daily eye treatments. “I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kelsi! From day one, it was clear how genuinely caring, patient, and attentive she is with my puppy Lucy. She treats her like her own, making sure she’s safe, happy, well-exercised, and loved. I always receive great updates and photos, which gives me total peace of mind knowing Lucy is in such good hands. Her reliability, communication, and obvious love for dogs truly sets her apart. I am so grateful to have found someone I trust completely and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care for their dog—especially puppies!”

“Blessed finally someone I can trust Eileen and Rich found me on Rover. They were looking for a sitter for there pup as their beloved long time sitter had moved. Rich came to my place with piglet for meet and greet with my 3 smalls . He shared with me how much anxiety he was having trying to find the exact right fit for piglet. I have 3 dogs. Doyle is my fear dog (He has come ALONG ways in 5 short years. He immediately ran up to Rich and put his feet on his legs so he could pet him. They watched the pack for me one day and it was the first time I had ever left Doyle with anyone and even tho I was a little nervous that Doyle would try to escape to come find me I knew they would be watching him like a hawk. Just a short time later I received a photo from Eileen comfy on the couch with all the dogs (even Doyle!) Laying on her and snuggling. But honestly, I already knew on my heart that they would care and lovey dogs almost as much me by the number of dog sitters they interviewed and even coming back for a second meet and greet just to make sure everything was going to work out. I will also add that piglet is very well behaved has excellent social skills , and over all just a well balanced dog. Says a lot about her parents! I know once you see how well cared and loved your pet is there you will not to leave them with anyone else! I'm so grateful our paths crossed and I can now feel comfortable leaving my littles when momma needs some me time! Thank you Rich and Eileen!”

“The girls had a great time with Alex and his family. I loved feeling that they were well taken care of, Alex sent me text and pictures throughout the day to make me feel comfortable leaving my girls. Alex is very friendly and you can tell he loves what he does. Thank you again for taking such good care of them.”

About: Although I'm new to Rover I have been dog sitting for years, now that I'm retired and have too much free time on my hands I decided to bump it up a notch. I love dogs and my papillon is getting up there in age and lost her sister and this is a great way to give her company and a buddy. I am retired and home more than away. Weather permitting I spend most of my time enjoying the outdoors playing and working in my yard. I have two beautiful landscaped fully fenced acres, lots of room for your fur babies to run and play. My home is well set up for extra paws. I have one senior papillon who could use a buddy.
“Hannah and Blake did a wonderful job with Clancy. We had photos of his activities during the day and could see that he was having a great time. He came home tired and clean (we opted for a bath). Thank you from Clancy too.”

“Cassie is AMAZING! She takes such incredible care of our pup. He has memorized the route to her house and gets so excited every time we pull up, so we know he loves her :) she shows care to the doggos by not only having them physically exercised throughout the day but she also does training and enrichment with them too. We feel so lucky to have found her!”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover, having cats growing up and later volunteering with dogs at rescue orgs. Beyond dogs and cats, I also have experience with horses, having owned and leased several. I’m comfortable with feeding, turnout, mucking stalls, brushing, and general equine care, making me a well-rounded caregiver for multi-pet households. What sets me apart is my ability to care for pets at all life stages—from energetic puppies learning the ropes to senior pets needing extra patience and comfort. Whether it’s structured walks, reinforcing good manners, or providing a calm and loving presence, I tailor my care to each pet’s unique needs. With a deep understanding of pet behavior across species and a passion for ensuring their happiness and well-being, I go beyond basic care to provide engaging, enriching, and compassionate pet companionship. After our Husky mix’s TPLO surgery in Fall 2024, I’ve decided to make pet care my main focus. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and this shift allows me to dedicate my time and energy to providing top-quality care for pets in my community. With a flexible schedule, I’m available for daily walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, and customized care based on each pet’s needs. No matter the setting, I focus on creating a safe, stress-free, and enriching experience for pets—so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in loving hands.

“Susie and her wonderful family are absolutely a dream come true! I'm so happy I found them. I've used daycare facilities for my little pug, Olive, in the past and she used to come home semi-traumatized by the experience. Definitely not the case with Susie. The second we pulled into her driveway, Olive had her tail wagging and couldn't wait to spend the day with Susie and family! Susie was sooo sweet and I know her daughter loved little Olive too...I can't speak highly enough of them. Seriously, if you're debating who to go with for your doggy...go with Susie. She is kind, extremely flexible, experienced and has such a warm and inviting home. Thank you so much for taking care of my little fur baby...10/10 would recommend and will 100% be taking Olive to Susie for all future daycare!?❤”

“Alex is fantastic! We needed a last minute sitter for our rescued Shepherd, and this being our first time leaving her with someone else, we were a little unsure how it would go. Alex was accommodating, communicative and just the perfect fit. Sascha had a blast with walks and playing with the neighbor dog, and we are relieved to find someone in our area that loves and cares for dogs just as much as we do. We are so grateful to Alex for welcoming our knucklehead into her home and will use her services again!”
“Kris helped us out last minute to take care of our two doggos who were out of their routine and did not love being in a hotel. They played. He kept them cool during the heat wave. He sent pics of two very happy doggos and they were so tired and happy when we picked them up. Thanks so much!”

“Jill was great to work with! This was my first time booking with Rover and Jill made it easy and enjoyable! Every time I contacted her, she was prompt and very helpful with her responses and she sent photos of my dog while he was with her. i I00% recommend Jill when looking for care for your furry family member!”

“Ava is an amazing host! This was Dexter's second time with her, although a much shorter stay, Dexter came back home wiped out from all of the playing. I feel very comfortable whenever Dexter's over there playing because I know he's getting love and attention! Highly recommended.”

Key Strengths - Comprehensive care: Walks, playtime, medication administration, litter maintenance, and vet and grooming appointment trip coordination. - Behavior awareness: Familiar with animal body language as well as stress reduction strategies. - Reliable and friendly communication: Timely updates with pictures and quick check-ins. - Adaptability: Experience with young animals, seniors, special diets, and pets with special needs. Pet and house sitting is a central part of my life and my full-time career. I have open availability for providing your pets with the best care and company they need. I respect both the animal’s routine and the owner’s space. I stick to their usual routines to keep everything familiar. I provide check-ins, updates, and photos during each visit, ensuring pet parents always know how their companions are doing. Cleanliness and safety are always top priorities—I make sure food and water are fresh, litter boxes, indoor and outdoor areas are tidy, and pets receive the love and reassurance they deserve.
About: My family and I have rescued a few dogs and trained them. I try to give them the best life possible. I believe that dogs deserve lots of attention and playtime! I am a part time college student, along with having a part time job! My availability changes often but the time i have with your pups will not go to waste. Both of my dogs are very friendly with people and other dogs. Also ball is life for them so I try to throw the ball as much as possible.
About: I’ve started walking dogs since I was walking in diapers. Throughout the years I’ve taken care of different sizes of dogs~ puppies to seniors. I’ve taken care of dogs that needed medical care and trained my dog and my grandma’s pup. I can say I know a bit of things when it comes dogs.
About: I’ve taken care of pets since I can remember, I have 4 dogs and 7 goats. I have fed, groomed, bathed, walked and taken care. I have availability in the mornings and afternoons as well as some hours on the weekends. I can be flexible to assist specific needs or requirements. I will take care of your pets as I would my own. Frequently going potty, eating when time, and lots of outdoor playing in large fenced yard.

About: I’ve had animals, including dogs, my whole life. I’ve worked at a vet office; I was the one they always called to handle the big dogs. I’ve helped deliver puppies, trimmed nails, groomed, bathed, and administered meds. I’m also a great cuddler and love puppy hugs and kisses 😘 I work part time and have control of my schedule so I’ve got plenty of time to give your pets the best care. Your pets come first. I stay at people’s homes and follow all their instructions and routines as best I can. I love pet cuddles and try to make them feel loved and taken care of while their humans are away. 💜

About: I worked at a vet clinic for 3.5 years but due to life changes I now work at a pet store and petsit to continue to work with animals while I work towards my goal of working in vet med again. I’m reliable with my own transportation and am very knowledgeable in proper pet care. I am communicative, compassionate, and attentive to animals and their needs. I have been my own friends’ and family’s pet sitter for the past 5 years and I treat every animal as if they were my own while in my care. My whole life revolves around animals; I have 4 cats of my own and have fostered 15 animals successfully in the past year, ranging from cats of all ages, dogs, and Guinea pigs. I also work directly with animals at my job and am looking to continue that path. I have multiple rooms in my home to separate the animals in my care if needed, I have access to professional services if an emergency were to arise while also having knowledge of what to look for in with different medical conditions that can be present in animals. I have a good understanding of animal behavior and I understand their needs.
“Stephen was absolutely amazing with Cosmo! From the moment they headed out, it was clear he was patient, attentive, and really understood Cosmo’s personality. He handled him confidently on the walk, kept him engaged, and made sure he was safe and happy the entire time. Cosmo came back relaxed and clearly well cared for. I truly appreciate Stephen’s professionalism and kindness he went above and beyond, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, fantastic dog walker.”

About: I have taken care of all kinds of pets since I was a child. I have experience giving oral medicine as well as shots. I will consistently walk, play, feed them as well as take care of any pet as if it were my own. :) I am currently working part time but am open to nearly any time as I can work around that schedule to fit you and your pups needs. I have a fenced yard and my friendly pup will help entertain. Can kennel if wanted or keep my pup to his room, otherwise the fur barbies will be outside playing or inside with me and my fiance.

“I’m so grateful I found Julie! I was nervous to leave my sweet girl with anyone since she has been struggling with some health issues. Julie was the best person I could’ve chosen. She was very understanding of my situation, of my dog’s health concerns and everything. She was very responsive and kind. My sweet girl had an amazing time with Julie and her family-she honestly didn’t seem to want to leave! She was happier and more energetic than I’ve seen her in a while. So grateful for Julie for offering her home and her care.”
“What an amazing individual and her little doggie, Zoe. Marybeth is super casual, interested, caring, and flexible. She understands pets and their importance. “Love love love it all that they provided to our Tofu❤️Absolutely recommend Linda and her family hosting your fur babies. Our Tofu spent his best two weeks at their place with lots of walks, treats, and even baths when needed. They asked many questions before hand to get to know Tofu and arranged a visit as well. It was such a relief for us during our international trip where we had no access to text messages and major social media. However, Linda still offered to contact us via WhatsApp in order to send daily updates.”

“10/10! Amanda was very kind and caring towards our dog and communicative with us. She sent photos regularly and took good care of her. She listened to our instructions well and was very generous with boarding her over a long holiday week. Our pup came home happy and with new friends :)”

“So happy to have come across Jennifer and Eric before boarding our pup. Seeing photos of him snuggling their kids and knowing he was being loved on all week gave us so much peace of mind while we were on vacation. Thank you guys so much!”

“Elizabeth and Sterling were fantastic. I booked last minute without much time for a meet and greet, and not only did they oblige and still meet same day, they made me feel comfortable leaving my dog with them. Their dog Lilo is such a sweetheart as well! They provided updates and exercise and I knew my pup was in good hands. Thank you so much for your great care! And I'm sorry again for the late plane arrival on my return!”

“Our dog had a great stay with Gary and Carol. Our pup fit in with their household right away, it's so nice knowing she was in great hands while we were away. Drop off and pick up were a breeze, and we appreciated the photo updates! Ideal stay!”
