They also sent so many nice updates that made it easy for my partner and I to enjoy our vacation. Also, when our dog was having trouble eating his meals they kindly found a solution after checking with us to make sure he got food. About: My family has had dogs my entire life (as well as chickens, ferrets, and a cat!). I've helped train, care for, feed, groom, play with, and dog sit for my family and others, and I'm excited to meet some new furry friends in Eugene! I believe that my biggest strength as a pet sitter is my ability to match your dog's energy level. I love playing tug, fetch, and frisbee, but I'm also always down for a snuggle, backscratch, or bellyrub too. I also don't mind getting licked which has helped me make many furry friends over the years :) I am a student at the U of O, but my schedule is quite flexible. I am available for drop-in visits during the day as well as weeknights after 6pm and all weekend. I believe that building trust with a dog is crucial, so I am intentional about letting them approach me first, sniff me, and take however long they need to feel comfortable in my presence.

I am an avid walker, so would love to get a good hike in with your dog/s. There is nothing better than curling up in the evening with a dog or cat to snuggle with. I'm retired so I'm willing and available to travel and stay at your house thereby relieving the stress your pets endure staying in a kennel or at other people's homes. If I will be taking care of pets for several days, I would prefer to care for the pets in your home. I currently don't have accommodations to care for pets where I live.
About: I never thought I'd be a cat person, but then my roommates brought home Cokey and Marsh when the shelter had a promotion where you adopt one cat and get another free. Since then I've been obsessed, and my co-worker has also had me catsitting for Marilyn (the white cat in my profile picture) since 2024! Can administer oral and topical medications with minimal drama, depending on the cat.

About: I absolutely love watching of cats of any kind I only have experience with taking care of family members cats. I do have some experience with giving cats medicine. I can drop in for a couple of hours to give your kitty attention or if they don’t like being alone I can stay with them all day.

It’s been nonstop travel/driving/boxes all summer and was concerned that Ev would be freaked out by yet another change in scenery…but it was instantly clear during the meet and greet that Ruthie’s house, coupled with her training and experience, would make for an excellent home-away-from-home environment. About: I have spent my life as a pet owner and I like to treat everyone's animals the way I would like mine to be treated. I have, at one time or another, owned dogs, cats, birds, fish, turtles, rabbits, snakes, rats, goats, horses, and chickens and am comfortable caring for many more. I know this site is mostly limited to dog and cat care, but I'm happy to pet sit anything. I am happy to care for pets either in my home or in yours and I'm very flexible regarding my schedule. About: My family has had dogs my entire life (as well as chickens, ferrets, and a cat!). I've helped train, care for, feed, groom, play with, and dog sit for my family and others, and I'm excited to meet some new furry friends in Eugene! I believe that my biggest strength as a pet sitter is my ability to match your dog's energy level. I love playing tug, fetch, and frisbee, but I'm also always down for a snuggle, backscratch, or bellyrub too.
