About: I've been lucky to have dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, that is 50+ years of wagging tails. I know how important consistency is for keeping dogs calm, especially when they're staying somewhere new. My goal is to make their time with me feel as close to "home" as possible. Whether your dog (aka family member) wants snuggles, a cozy nap spot, playtime with my dog, or a little quiet space to themselves, I follow their lead and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. About: I have had animals in my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve had dogs, cats, birds, rodents, and even reptiles. I am currently training to become a dog groomer and I’m taking classes to get my vet tech certification. I have the experience and knowledge necessary to ensure your pets are safe, comfortable and happy with me. I am currently working part time so I have the availability to care for your animals without anything impeding my ability to keep a close eye on them. My house is a large space with a very large fenced in back yard. I have two dogs that are easy to get along with. I have animal gates I can secure if you’d prefer your pets to be separated from my two small pups. I have 3 bedrooms so I can even dedicate a room to just your animal so they have a private and comfortable space.

I care for all living beings, but dogs are my go to when it comes to spending time and feeling at home in a world I choose. I've trained many breeds over the years and have heard various techniques. The older I've gotten the more formal the training I've received. All of which has been positive reinforcement training. I once went through a program that taught me how to train my own service animal. The techniques are very similar to the way I was during my early years when classes were not on my radar. My dog would simply go everywhere with me and learned how to behave in each setting without much effort at all. With the more formal training in recent years the fun part I find is desensitizing, shaping, training while playing, and having a great friend with me at all times. I do not claim to have had a ton of success reversing already spun habits. It's important to start pups young in many cases, though there are also many dogs that are easy going enough they can pick this up in no time. Whether you have a pet for the the home, all kinds, I will care for them as you do and I'll send you on your carefree way with full confidence. Boarding dogs at my house is limited to easy to manage temperaments and activity levels do to the fact our home is very small with hard wood and we have no fenced yard. My husband and I are both retired. I've recently lost my elder Irish Setter who spent most all his time with us. Now I have a Mini Poodle pup who's being trained to fill some pretty big shoes. So far it's smooth sailing! When going into others homes I simply follow their daily routines and instructions. My time is devoured to the animals. I rarely have things that would require me to shift focus. While at our house I make sure needs are met first, set the tone with rules of the house and have plenty of interactions with them through out the day. We take frequent walks and set up play time in the garage. I love the elders and yet can't pass up a puppy. I've not sat for cats in my home and would not feel comfortable doing so unless the owner knows something I don't know regarding their outings.

Nova is a golden retriever and she is a pretty low key and very good with all dogs, cats and children. I have experience with both rescue dogs and anxiety ridden dogs. About: It’s been rough - three rainbow bridge trips in short order. I need more time before I go down that road again, but in the meantime, I will happily love your dog (or cat, or parrot, or lizard, or...?) as if s/he were my own. I have a special fondness for seniors and special needs, but I’m game for anything. And, who doesn’t like puppies and an in-the-prime-of-lifer?? Ornery, shy, suspicious, or complicated personalities happily embraced. I am patient and sensitive to the fact that some animals need lots of closeness and reassurance while others need their space. The pet and owner and I will work together to set the terms of our relationship, and I promise to be a most excellent guardian catering to each individual’s needs. My most consistent regular obligation is a daily trip to the barn to take care of my horse, but if needed, I have alternate coverage. I try to keep my presence low profile while I’m there. About: I got my first pet at 18, a kitten who was from a stray in the neighborhood. I still have that cat today she is 16 and a 1 year old rescued chihuahua mix. I’ve fostered over 30 dogs and a few kittens, volunteered at our local animal shelters and worked events trying to find pets loving homes. I love caring for animals and being a person animals trust. I am a self employed person so my schedule is very flexible, I take my own dog on daily walks and can fit things in easily. About: I’ve had cats and dogs since I was a child. I’ve taken care of clients pet babies in their home. Feeding, cleaning cat litter, playing with them and administering medication. Making them feel loved while their parents are away. I also have had the opportunity to volunteer at a horse therapy program where I cleaned stables, fed the horses, washed them, brushed them and cleaned their hoofs. I also assisted the mentally and physically disabled individuals on the horses while they were doing their lessons. I am currently retired and have all the time in the world to care for your pet babies. I have a large home that would be comfy and cozy for them I have an adequate yard to take your pet Babies in. I have a bike trail to walk them in and an open area to play with them.

About: I’ve had dogs, cats, fish, lizards, guinea pigs, hamsters, a snake, and even a chinchilla throughout my life, so I’ve truly never known life without being surrounded by animals. I’m a huge animal lover, and caring for them has always come naturally to me, whether they’re my own or belong to family and friends. I have roughly 10+ years of non-professional experience and 3 years of professional experience caring for pets, including pet sitting and working with animals of different personalities and needs. That being said, I’ll be moving into a townhome with more space at the end of August. About: I have had cats and dogs my whole life growing up. I currently own a rescue pit mix who is my whole world and best friend. I’m an active sitter who is willing to run, walk, or play fetch with your dog. I love playing with and cuddling with cats as well. My family was big into dog training growing so I can work well with puppies. I also have experience with medicine as my family cat as been sick and my dog was adopted with heart worms. I have a huge heart for animals and can’t wait to meet yours! I have a part time job and a remote job that are both very flexible. I can be available at any time of the day or week. I unfortunately can not have pets in my home since it is very small. However, when I stay with clients pets in their home I always treat it with the most respect. I treat every pet as if they are my own and every house as if it is mine.
About: I’ve taken care of animals my entire life, from friends to relatives, but have really gotten into it more in the last 6 years, owning my own animals!
