About: Even though I don't have a cat of my own, I've spent the last several years watching my sister's, friends', and roommates' cats whenever they've been out of town or needed someone to check in on them. I've always thought cats are funny because every single one has such a different personality, and that's one of my favorite parts about getting to know them! About: I worked in Veterinary medicine as a CVT for 15 years. I’m now in real estate so I have the experience but am able to work from home and spend hours with animals that need special care & medications (whether orally, injectable or topically). I am comfortable with most farm animals as well. My rates are based off of pets that need that extra care/ medications etc. Depending on their needs (or ease of care) my rates can be flexible! Just ask and we can discuss your/your pets needs to figure it out I am available for walks or drop ins most days but for boarding (my house or yours), I am available Wednesdays and Thursdays and every other weekend. Because I can work from home your animals don’t have to be lonely while you’re away! I am active, healthy and smoke free. I love walking dogs, running them at the park, playing chase or tug a war or whatever shenanigans your pet loves. I’ve raised goats, chickens and pigs and have some experience with cows and horses. I have helped with reptiles and birds too.. As having worked in day practice and emergency medicine I have a wide knowledge and experiences with various medical needs, diseases and behaviors. I pay close attention to body language and want to make your time away as stress free and reassured as possible. I am happy to help with house needs during the stay as well such as watering plants, getting the mail, taking out the trash, etc.
About: I've taken care of animals for 15+ years. Weather it was my own animal or a friend or families I was always there to give potty breaks and train them on proper care. I also train dogs and have many years of experience training dogs to do various commands such as sit, down, roll over, and crate training. This will be my full time job so I'll have plenty of time to dedicate to your furry friend. I do have a dog and cat of my own but they are great around other dogs. I live in an apartment in the middle of campus. There is unfortunately no backyard but I ensure that your dog will get many walks and potty breaks and playtime.

About: I am lucky enough to have lived every single day of my life with pets of some variety–dogs, cats, hamsters, and betta fish, primarily. Some were family pets, but most have been my own. I was seven years old when my parents allowed me my first pet of my very own (Fluffernutter, a brown-and-white banded Syrian hamster), and I still remember spending months poring over library books and researching everything I could about hamster care before bringing her home. Currently, I have one cat (Sushi, light of my life), but she’s only an only child because I don’t yet have the financial means to be the maniacal menagerist of my dreams. Meeting and loving and taking care of animals has always been the brightest part of my life; I genuinely cannot imagine a life without them, and I hope I never have to. Although this is my first time formally offering pet-sitting services, I’ve been caring for others’ pets for years, starting around age twelve. I’ve pet-sat for friends and neighbors, taking care of their dogs, cats, horses, and fish. My responsibilities have included everything from feeding and administering medication (when needed) to walks, cleanup, and making sure each pet gets plenty of attention and companionship. While most of my experience is with dogs, cats, horses, and fish, I love animals of all kinds and would be happy to care for most any critter. I spent approximately a year as a Pet Care Specialist at PetSmart, where my primary responsibilities included caring for the store’s fish and reptiles. It was a job I absolutely loved, and I still miss all of the little critters I looked after. I’ve also had a few hamsters over the years, and a close friend of mine had mice, rats, and snakes, all of which I spent a fair amount of time interacting with. Even when I don’t have experience with a specific animal, I always take the time to research their needs and follow all care instructions closely to ensure they’re well looked-after. When it comes to reptiles, I’m comfortable with general care, though I’m not able to provide feeder animals larger than insects. When it comes to dogs specifically, I have the most experience with medium and large pups and am comfortable caring for dogs of most sizes. However, I am not able to sit for any giant breeds. While I love them dearly (and have spent a great deal of time around Newfoundlands in particular), I want to ensure I can safely and confidently handle any situation that may arise. One of my favorite parts of pet-sitting is getting to know each animal as an individual. Every pet has their own personality, preferences, and quirks, and I make it a priority to learn those so I can care for them beyond just the basics. Whether it’s discovering their favorite toy, their ideal walking pace, their go-to nap spot, or how they like to be social (full cuddle mode or quiet companionship), I want your pet to feel understood and comfortable. I also have experience caring for shy and anxious pets. I understand that building trust can take time, patience, and consistency, and I’m more than happy to meet animals at their pace. Even confident pets can feel unsettled when their person is away, so creating a calm, safe, and reassuring environment is always a top priority for me. I’m available most days of the week, with the exception of Wednesdays before 10:30am, and I’m always happy to work with your pet’s specific schedule and routine. Whether I’m house-sitting or just stopping by to check on your fur babies, my primary focus is keeping your pets’ routine as consistent as possible to help reduce stress. I follow all care instructions closely, monitor pets for any changes in behavior or health, and ensure their environment remains clean and safe. I’m always conscious and respectful of your home, treating it with the same care and consideration I would my own, and ensuring it’s securely locked when I come and go.
About: Hi! I'm a dependable and compassionate pet lover who truly enjoys caring for animals. I have experience caring for both small and large dogs, including a Husky/Pit Bull mix, so I'm comfortable with energetic, strong breeds as well as smaller companions. I have experience walking dogs, sticking to their routines, and making sure they get the exercise, attention, and care they need. I work part time Wed-Friday to 4 PM, otherwise I’m available! I have a small house with a Flemish Giant breed bunny named Jessie! She is in a separate caged area, safe and secure. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I carefully follow all feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions (if needed), and any special care requests you provide. I'm experienced with both small and large dogs, highly experienced with cats, and I also care for rabbits, so I understand that every animal has unique needs. I'll treat your home with respect, keep you updated with photos and messages, and make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and stress-free while you're away.
About: I have a cocker spaniel back home, whom I walked daily. During the winter I walked my neighbors dog 5 times a week for 45 minutes after school. I work from home managing social media for a local bakery in Portland, I make my own schedule. I also have practice from 6:25-8:25 daily. My dog used to bark at other dogs on walks, using a reward system I’ve trained her to stop and wait quietly when dogs pass.

About: As an animal lover for my entire life, and with this being the first time not owning a pet, I look forward to being able to share my love for animals with you and your beloved pet!! I grew up with one Boston Terrier, and then later two Bostons, in my home and was constantly surrounded by the dogs of extended family members, close friends, and neighbors. Because of this I have experience with many dog breeds and many personalities and ages! I have 17 plus years experience caring for the well loved pets of others and understanding the spoken and unspoken needs of dogs! I have a very calm demeanor and, more than simply walking and feeding, love to spend time playing and getting to know your pets individual personalities! Quality care and safety of your pet is of the utmost importance for me and I will do everything in my power to ensure that your family member has the best stay-cation possible! :) I'm a student and work! I am home often, and more or less make my own schedule so can often shift things and fit my schedule around the needs of you/your pet! I live in a third floor walk up, with a balcony. Dogs always have supervised balcony time (or can be not let on to the balcony if there are concerns!). I am always attentive of your pet, and any shifts in behavior that seem strange will be monitored and reported to you if necessary! I am always mindful of how other dogs are interacting with others and of the environment in order to ensure your pet is safe, and you are stress and worry free, during their stay!
