About: When I was a young lad, I won 1st place in a dog agility competition in Tualatin, Oregon where I grew up. My family lived on 5 acres on a back road that connects Tualatin with Wilsonville; 65th ave. We always had cats, I'd say an average of 4. Sometimes less, sometimes more. We would also have 2 larger dogs, the dopey type like the huskies, goldens and the like, who would keep the coyotes at bay. Animals are part of my upbringing, and for me, a home isn't complete without at a minimum of a cat. Full disclosure, I am absolutely a cat man, but I respect and appreciate well behaved and chill dogs. My profile excludes large dogs but if you have a big boof of a mutt who's chill and good with cats, that dog is absolutely welcome at my home. I am a homeowner who's been laid off for a few months and with full disclosure, finding work in my field has been a challenge. I am an animator by trade, but also an office rat with corporate clerical experience. Most of my professional experience involved working from home. I am currently searching for a similar occupation, but will be sure to update this should I accept an onsite day job. Fully fenced in back yard in a quite neighborhood. Its a smaller yard, but it is entirely enclosed with deer fencing. Deer are regular guests out back where there is a small patch of nature (wetland, can't be developed), but I put the deer fencing up to keep Kubo in. He's a bit of an escape artist, so this fence has been upgraded many, many times to thwart his catty ways.
“This was our 2nd stay and our dog loves his stays here. He comes home happy and exhausted from playing with other pups. We appreciate the kindness and quick communication. Thank you for caring for our dog and loving him while we can't be with him.”

“Jennifer took great care of my little buddy ! I was so nervous leaving him with someone for the first time. She sent pictures and updates, it made me feel at ease and comfortable about his stay. When I picked him up he was super happy and didn't even bark when I came to the door. She did such an awesome job for us, I can't say ebough to express our thanks and gratitude. ❤️ We will definitely be bringing him back to her the next time we need him cared for ! Thank you Jennifer and family ! ❤️?”

“Cynthia was absolutely amazing with Eddie! She was very communicative and made me feel very at ease with the drop off and pick ups. I recommend her for boarding and I'll be booking again I'm the future!”

“Andrea is AMAZING!!! This was our first time leaving Bella, so we were a bit nervous. Andrea is so sweet, Bella was drawn to her as soon as we walked in the door. Andrea was great at sending us pictures & even a little video, which help put our minds at ease. Bella had a great time with Andrea and her family. We would be happy to have Bella stay again in the future.”

“Second time with Amy and Jeff, and the dogs were really excited to see Amy when we dropped them off. Dogs seemed really comfortable, and we got regular updates throughout the trip. Will definitely continue to use Amy’s services!”

“Dana and Mark are awesome! This my second time working with them and they once again took great care of our bichon, Cosmo. They were accommodating and personable and sent many pictures and videos of Cosmo. I would highly recommend working with them!”

“Melissa gave us updates on Echo and sent photos/videos throughout his stay which put us at ease with any worries we had. He came home happy and healthy. We will definitely rebook with Melissa when we go out of town!”

“Angela is an angel and life saver! My friend had an emergency so I needed a last minute dog sitter for a 4 day weekend and luckily found Angela. From well the photos she sent me I found the my dog was being treated like a king. Great communication and kinda worried Pabu is gonna love her and her family more then me after all the pics and adventures they had 😂 will def use again”

“Such a great loving family. They took the absolute best care of our puppy Bodhi. We got lots of pictures and videos every day, they definitely treated him like their own pet. Bodhi didn’t want to leave, he had so much fun playing with their pup. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again!”

About: I just moved to Portland and I work remotely so I can definitely spend time with any pets I care for! Growing up my family always had pets and I loved taking care of them! My family currently has one dog and anytime I go back to Southern California to visit I love hanging out with her. Throughout my life I've always been the one to call for pet sitting when neighbors and friends go away on vacation. I really love taking care of their dogs and cats while they're away. Along with helping my friends and family take care of their pets I've also worked at a pet supply store where I interacted with animals daily. Before moving to Portland I lived in Bend where I had a good amount of repeat pet sitting gigs and I loved them like they were my own. Before moving to Oregon I lived in San Francisco for about 12 years. While living in San Francisco I volunteered with the SPCA which was definitely a great experience! I've always loved animals and I feel like I am just happier around them :D I currently work from home so I can spend all day everyday with the pets I care for! I love going on walks throughout the week and my work schedule is flexible so I can take your pet out anytime :) I follow all rules your pet currently has so it doesn’t disrupt their daily routine. “We are new to the state, and were searching for a reputable dog sitter. Within the first 15 minutes of meeting Shell, I knew our pups would be in good hands. Shell is knowledgable, always striving to learn more about care of dogs, full of useful info that she shares openly and often. She is cognizant of the need to keep small pups and large in different areas when necessary. She's working on my youngest Chihuahua to help socialize her--as she's very shy and untrusting. Put aside her long history of caring for dogs, she's just a good human being, and I enjoy her company when I stop by. After a couple of times of daycare for my pups, I am confident about leaving my pups for a longer peiod of time. A vacation with my husband is beginning to look possible! :)”

“I was visiting my son in Camas,WA and needed daycare so we could spend time at Lake Merwin. I looked on Rover for daycare for my Goldendoodle and found Dana and Mark. They were very friendly, warm and welcoming. You can tell they love dogs. They have a beautiful, dog friendly backyard and even had a doggie pool! I loved the photos and videos they sent throughout the day. My dog was having so much fun, I wasn’t sure if he’d want to come back to the Airbnb with me. Finally, they were very accommodating when we picked up our dog later than expected! Dana and Mark are exceptional! I wish they were near my home in California Thank you for treating my fur baby as family!”

“This is my first time leaving my pug boy Louie with a sitter. I was nervous at first about leaving him but Jamie and her mom made me feel comfortable about leaving him there. They allowed me to have a meet and greet first, and Jamie answered all questions i had. She reassured me he was in good hands and i know he was. Jamie has very good communication, and made me feel even better by sending lots of pics and videos of Louie while he was there. I will definitely be booking jamie again for my boy.”

“Angela is a wonderful dog sitter and clearly has such a love for animals. Grace loved doggy daycare and was so excited to come back each day. Angela's communication was great and she was really kind and flexible with unexpected schedule changes. I highly recommend her as a caring, reliable person providing excellent pet care.”

“Tashi is doing well! Looks forward to going to doggie daycare with Brianna. Today, he tried to sneak out to the car when I left! He loves being around the kids and other dogs. Thank you for taking great care of him!”

“Brie is the exact type of person you'd want to care for your pet. She is attentive and intuitive to our little guy's needs as they chang from day to day. Our dog is so much happier on the days he gets walks, play time, and snuggles from Brie. She is awesome!”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 5 years old, my senior girl I’ve had since then is 18 yrs old and still going strong! My dogs live with my parents and we have a fenced in yard and a space in our house just for the dogs. I live by myself though if your dog isn’t comfortable around other animals!

The pictures were nice clear pictures of Noel and you took care to take heed of every detail of her needs while she was with you. We will definitely look you up again if we ever need another dog sitter!”

“Brandi was amazing! Our dogs stayed with her for a week and were very well taken care of. She kept us updated with pictures and a check in each day. In every picture, our dogs looked so happy! Brandi handled our dog’s medication and their little quirks with ease. Drop off and pick up were easy. She really went above and beyond!”

“Tony is fantastic, My puppy loved her time with with him as shown in Tony's picture updates. Tony is easy to work with, flexible and friendly. We will definitely be returning.”

“Tanaisa had great communication and sent lots of photo updates, so we knew how our pup was doing while we were away! She was also understanding as I learned how to use Rover. Thanks Tanaisa!”

“Our Shepherd mix was right at home with Hailey and her family. He got 24/7 care, family love and attention. Hailey was easy to communicate with and worked with our special food mix that needed to be refrigerated. Great property to roam in the yard and lots of area to run and play. We will definitely bring our dog back.”

About: I have grown up with both dogs and cats ever since I was very little and I have always loved taking care of them. I live at home with my parents and I have lots of experience watching our two dogs and cat for weeks at a time while they are traveling. (Note: neither my parents, or pets will be anywhere near your pets, as they are going to be in a separate part of the house. The house also has a huge backyard, sitting on over an acre with tall fences. I also keep plenty of toys on hand so you can be sure your pets are getting the love and care they deserve. I currently work from home and have a very flexible. schedule all throughout the weekdays and weekends so your pets will be cared for during their entire stay. I also do not leave our own pets unattended for more than a couple hours so the same can be expected for yours as well. Pets can expect over an acre of enclosed backyard, so plenty of room to run around and play as needed. Bathroom breaks will be given at least once every 1.5 hours - 2 hours and will be supervised the entire time as is standard with our own pups. We also have a cat and two small dogs in the house, but they will be upstairs and away from your pets during the visit.
“My dog Laddie had a great stay with Frances and her pack! I loved the constant updates and pictures. He was relaxed and calm when I came to pick him up. It was a short stay, but I would not hesitate a bit with a longer stay. We will definitely book again!!”

“She was great with Luna. Responsive when I checked in and ready did her best to relieve my anxiety about leaving her. Had a little mix up about pick up day and we worked it out with ease. I will use her again and would highly recommend her to others.”

“Barry was fantastic with Ollie! This was my first time using him, and I couldn't be happier. Ollie seemed incredibly relaxed, happy, and well taken care of the entire time. I really appreciated that Barry sent regular picture updates of their walks and nap times, which gave me total peace of mind. I will definitely be using Barry again and highly recommend him!”

“Long overdue review... Wonderful home, children and dogs for Mia to have had plenty of fun with! Brianna was accommodating with our long stay request for Mia. Home away from home! Thank you for taking care of Mia for us!!!”

“This was my first time boarding my dog with Elaine and I would do it again. I was out of service for the 4 days that my pup stayed with her, but when i got back into service I saw that she sent photos of big stretches and him chilling with the other dogs each day. Elaine and her family were welcoming to my pup and I would recommend her as a sitter or boarding option for sure.”

“Jamie did a wonderful job looking after Toby and Zeus! She followed my care instructions and sent several videos and even a holiday greeting photo! Jamie kept in good contact with me and carefully watched out for Toby's health, even offering to prepare special food for him because he was having some loose stools, but I told her he was just excited and in a new place. Toby was fine and returned to normal after a day or so. I highly recommend Jamie to care for your family member!”
